Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

UPS may be required to scan at each, but this does not always happen. I have WAY better tracking experiences with USPS then i do with UPS. plus USPS will actually take care of your package. this cannot be said for UPS trust me. ive seen packages thrown, kicked, played with like its a football... believe me UPS is well worse than USPS. they usually dont even knock on your door. they just drop the package on my doorstep and walk away. i asked a UPS guy why the delivery guy didnt knock on my door and he laughed. the faster they go the better for them individually so they dont give a rats ass if your package was damaged or not. or if you even know its there. i see it EVERY day from them. USPS still can suck, but not nearly as bad as UPS. i avoid brown like the plague when possible.

i find this hard to believe. i find USPS to be much much faster than UPS. every single one of my orders from TV was delivered within 2 days of ordering. all via USPS standard Priority. the only way a UPS package will make it in 2 days is if you request a "2nd day" service... of which will cost you much more than USPS Priority. i also see tons of packages coming to and from and have the exact opposite experience from the guy you spoke with.

DHL, FedEx, etc... they all suck in some ways.

sorry for the off topicness

carry on

I can't vouch for the guy since I don't know him, but that is what he said. He does also deal mostly in large, heavy packages, so that could have a bearing as well.

I could see how someone could make an argument that USPS delivery service could be better than UPS in certain areas, but I don't see how anyone could claim the USPS tracking is better than UPS. With UPS, I have only on rare occasions not been able to successfully track a package each step along the way. With USPS, I'm lucky to get one scan along the way, which is actually an improvement over just a couple years ago.

Jeeebus!! :brow: I just put the Evo on my SSV bubbler (14mm) and it just gave me some seriously huge hits. They were not milky looking in the piece, but I blew out some huge hits. I love the Evo more and more as I have been getting to know it.

I gave it the usual warm up, then gently pulled until my lungs were full, I increased the draw right at the last few seconds of the inhale. Then I blew out a full cloud of vapor, very visible. It wasn't thick like smoke.

Wouldn't be nice to go 'told you so' right about now, but in all fairness we did give you a hint or two that might happen....

Neat little machine, isn't it. Funny how it can suddenly 'turn on you' and catch you by surprise at how potent it can be in such a small simple thing. I think a lot of it is a tweak or two in technique that does it. I mean the machine and herb didn't change so the important change had to come from me. In a kind of Zen like way I see it as stopping trying to make it do what I want and letting it show me how. Fish around a little and follow your instincts when the results suit you.

You need to have the basic skills of getting it working down pat, of course, but I see that skill set as subject to modifications as things change. The real skill is learning to modify your technique as needed.

Anyway, fun toy as well as useful tool. A great combination in my book.

Last night I decided to do a few experiments with my Evolution, basically testing out my different sets of batteries and seeing how they produced vapor. I sat in front of my laptop with the lights and tv off in order to be able to see the vapor better. Using this method I could see vapor in my exhales where previously I thought ok I am getting excellent taste but no visible vapor. I was amazed at how much vapor I got from one bowl packed with some really nice wax in between, it seemed like it would never stop hitting.

Also, I discovered that out of my three sets of batteries only two perform well with the Evolution. They all do great on the Revolution, but the one set does not get the job done on the Evo. They just drain too quickly and do not pack a punch the other two sets do. I decided to order some AW lifep04 rcr123 batteries Bruno used in his video and see how those work out.

here is a question for those that are running a TV body... does your delrin sleeve have vertical scratches on it?

i ask because mine does, but i always just assumed it was from machining. that was until i got my new insulated interface and found that it is near flawless. it makes the body sleeve look like shit next to it. so now im a little dissapointed with the sleeve on my TV body. it does not affect performance however.

Other than the ridges, mine is also "near flawless".

2clicker,
My LV showed up today and I must say this thing delivers. I got severely medicated with some Pure Kush. I bet the Dart with some Venom Oil would be insane!

Glad one of us got ours at least! Hopefully mine will be here tomorrow and I will experience the same results.

That doesn't look right, I have 2 of the battery chambers w/ black derlin and neither of them look scratched up like that.

I've definitely been enjoying the Evo with just flowers for the first few days I've had it, but tonight was the first time I've added kief to the mix. I did a full loosely filled 4:1 bud to kief sandwich and damn am I :ko: . I was definitely gettin toasty of the flower load, but this gets me there twice as fast. I think from here on out the evo is gonna be fueled by a tasty kieflower mix. I was killin a set of batteries per session, but with kief in the mix I can get nice twice off one set. 4 sessions off my two sets is very cool with me. Damn am I lovin this thing. First day in a month I didn't use my cloud. That says something.

Yup, that's the way it seems to happen. Takes guys a little while before they connect with it, but you don't see many guys trying to sell 'em off yet....

So I believe you fully, and I've never even seen a cloud, let alone been a daily user.

Thanks for the report, good thing they're making more for these other guys when they finally catch on, eighwhat?
