Yuck! Wouldn't the cotton be better? I have yet to try it myself. And thanks for the info on combusting.

The cotton ball is superfluous imo, I think a cut-up volcano liquid pad is cleaner, better, more sterile, etc... But all that is really only necessary fore most vapes if you're using oils. Normal screens can handle Bubble/kief...

Couldn't you simply place the kief by itself within the ELB? Isn't its mesh suitably fine? Even if it gums up in a day or 4, you can just ISO wash/torch them. If that isn't feasible then sandwiching it between conventional screens or using the Volcano pad (cut up or just compressed) should work.

With all due respect, I always hated the idea of mixing concentrates with herb or ABV, smoking or vaping, it's always seemed like a big unhappy compromise. I've subsisted on nothing but bubble (bubble gum, mind you) out of the VHW for the last month or so, and if I were mixing it with ABV, I'd want to vomit. In attempting to properly get the coldwater to the depleted, uncombusted, extracted powder I'm after, the ABV would of been set into a sickening combusted carinogenic blaze well before I got to that point.

If the current ELB system can't handle concentrates easily than a little improvisation with conventional screens or the Volcano Liquid pad should make it possible. Sorry if this has already been discussed at length, I haven't been following this thread quite as closely as I would have liked.

^^ Lol that's awesome, never thought about separating abv per temperature

but guys, I think there's no real need for ABV with resin- it gets dry and black it doesn't "melt" down to your machine heater...

so what youre saying is, that they released the hounds we'll probably get our clouds sooner than u think. because they are shipping hole bunch when the ht tubes are in stock.

Yeah it is, that what I was saying. the resin just gets dry and sticks to the ABV. it doesn't melt down or anything, it might be harder to clean the glass stem but honestly, next time I'm going resin only - keep in mind I'm talking generally since I don't own a cloud.

Essentially, yes. Production quantities have varied, starting very slowly, then being both sped up and slowed down depending on component (like the HT's) availability and production issues. So the production rate has varied. Also, after the initial spurt of pre-orders, it's unlikely that the rate of pre-ordering was constant, and likely that the number slowed after a time until the second launch re-invigorated awareness and interest. So, e.g., in one given month the number of pre-orders could be twice or half that of another month. With variations in production rate and order rate, not knowing current run rate, and not knowing what the production capacity is, we have no way of forecasting based on order date other than to say that the pre-order date indicates the sequence your order will be filled - but not when.

Got my Cloud 2 days ago. The Hydracirc is cracked big time at the perc. After seeing pics of
others' hydracircs, the one I got looks as though the slits in the perc were not even flame
polished. I have e-mailed Phil a few times, registered my Cloud for warranty, and semi-patiently
waited for a response.....So, hooray for the Cloud, boo for qc/inspection. Hope to hear from the
VXL squad soon. It looks so high tech, just fucking sitting there......

Also, don't pay for 2 day shipping on a Thursday and expect your goods to arrive Sat. I found out
the hard way. I don't fault VXL for this, the blame goes to UPS.

Ouch, that sucks. Maybe happened in transit? If not, they need to hire me to inspect tubes! Good thing you are dealing with these guys, though - I'm sure you will have a replacement soon. No glass you can use in the meantime?

If people are anything like me, then they just can't stop hitting the thing because its such a pleasure to do so. then realise that the planned 2 hour session somehow lasted 4 hours and they never even turned on the tv or laptop. just sat there floating around in the stratosphere for the whole time contemplating shit. its fucking magical. :ko:

haha pretty much man :p im getting way too vaked cause it's too tasty. :p lately im trying to do more re-breathing and less number of hits. it's working so far.

my ht is starting to look foggy when dry looks like hard water stain, i've been real careful with it but still i see it when the glass is dry. none of my other glass has this problem. any suggestions on how to clean the ht to make it look new again?

I'd try and get it clean asap. I still have a piece with hard water stains that I don't think i'll ever get out.
