T1 just arrived, I got it loaded, gave it a few rips, and I have to say, after using the Evolution this thing is a breeze to use. It heats up in 5-6 seconds, and I am getting instant fat hits from it. Definitely glad to have it!! I also got the smooth flow, and it's a nice addition for sure, but I can't tell you what the difference is yet, since this is my first round using it. Very pleased, and glad I got the learning curve done w/ the Evo because this was more than natural feeling to use for the first time.

I can see using this as more of a bowl to share with a small group even, definitely not as conservative as the Evo, but I like the faster heat time. I am a little too :ko: right now to give it a full test run, after testing some oil I made last night, and having a couple of sessions with the Evo under my belt... might need to take a break, go play some bluegrass for a while. :brow:

p.s. sorry for the double post, time elapsed for using the edit feature...

Nice one jamba, that's kewl to hear ,, will be nice to hear a detailed report from you . maybe with pics ? :))
Bit annoyed as ive just realized that it costs about 70 dollars just with the customs tax and courier service :( something not mentioned on TV's website, I will be informing them of the additional charges not mentioned when i get it, so they can update the website :)

So first impressions on the T1, It works great, and I think would be an ideal starter for most who don't know much about vaping... The results were pretty instant, and anyone with a shred of patience ought to be able to figure this one out pretty fast.

How many hits should I be getting per battery charge?? I know it can vary, but I am taking maybe 10-15 second hits at most, and it seems I am getting about 6-7 before I need to change batteries. I still need to spend more time with it to be sure, I keep having to take breaks, so it's hard to keep track right now.

I have been loading probably twice as much in the T1 as I was loading in the Evo. They are a bit different over all, but have similar techniques for heating/hitting. I'll try to post more if I can later, since I'm a bit over medicated at the moment...:freak:

Here is my happy little family... :D

Well, after three months of trying to gather the money again, I finally made it! I just got my Thermovape T1 today!

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/thermovape.4770/page-94#post-190076
In that post I explained how my first Thermovape T1 got stolen, and I have finally been able to get one!

Happy days!

I recall this one. The one where your (hopefully former) friend could have warned you off having his slimeball brother steal your gear? That one?

Good friends are a blessing and joy, from the sounds of it this one could use replacement rather than further trust.....not to tell you how to pick your friends of course.

Anyway, I'd lost track of time, that's a long time to do without for such a lame reason. Now that the wait is over, I hope you find success quickly.

Just sat here and did a hit count and got about 10 good hits before my batteries faded out. I know this probably isn't news to anyone, but I was asking about it earlier. Now I have taken the time to do the test so I think I have it figured out... T1 has had me vaped ALL DAY LONG!! :ko:

I completely forgot about this! You, my friend, have some dedication. I hope after all this you enjoy your ThermoVape... this bowl is for you!

So to me, the T1 is the Evo's big brother, it's giving me huge hits, about half the heat up time (I keep forgetting I'm not running the Evo and waiting too long) and battery life is so close to the Evo it really isn't a big deal that I can get a few more hits from the Evo before swapping batteries. I did notice with the Evo that after 10-12 hits or so, you can really tell the batteries are starting to drain. You may get a few more hits once this starts to happen if you continue, but I have found myself swapping out the batteries as soon as I notice the drop in performance, simply to keep from draining them dead.

So to me they are neck and neck, the T1 performs quicker and gives heavier hits, I've even scorched a couple of loads by running it too long, or maybe drawing too heavy. Evo seems to have a slightly better flavor, takes a little longer to heat, seems harder to accidentally combust with it, but gives you maybe 5 or so more puffs from a slightly smaller load than the T1. So if you are the conservative type, the Evo is right there on it and is pretty stealthy, and if you are looking for bigger clouds, and more instant gratification, the T1 is a good choice. Since they are all compatible, it really isn't bad to have each of them :brow:

Yeah, I don't really talk or hang out with him anymore. I'm not mad at him, but I wish he would have been around his house more.

Thank you, I feel for the product, and I'm glad I was finally able to get one!

On a side note; I went out with my buddy last night and we hit the Thermovape good. It was definitely worth it. Although, I got one hit that was really just too much. I had taken too much in, the taste started to make me want to puke, and then a few tiny bits of herb went in to my mouth through the tiny holes. I ended up choking and sticking my head out the window for four blocks trying to get some good air.

Anywho, completely worth it!

Maybe this has already been addressed. Tenergy on their site list two rcr123a batteries. Our friend with the green stripe rated 3v, 750 mah and a Li-ion model sporting a blue stripe rated 3v, 900 mah. Is the blue stripe battery compatible? If so does it offer longer life before charging and can it be charged in the same charger used for the green stripe? I did notice the green stripe is good for 2000 charging cycles while the blue stripe is good for only 500 charging cycles.

Tim,

He's looking for the DART LV as a kit. I can't find it on the new improved web page......

Can you please post the link for it (full on LV kit)? Thanks.

OF

We broke the web page (we are vaporizer manufactures after all and probably should not be allowed to play with computers) we are working to get it back up.

Sorry for the delay.

Cheers,

We can definitely get him the right unit. He could order the Revolution kit front he site and we can make sure the LV version goes out.

Bad timing for sure, website... bane of my existence.

I find the T1 for my current usage with the smooth flow filter and extended mouthpiece and current packing method I clear the bowl in roughly 6 hits. There might be enough in the batteries left to "preheat" the next bowl enough to make it dry and vape better, but I'll need a second set of batteries. I find 1 set = 1 bowl for me. I am able to vape a decent sized amount of material quickly in 1 bowl though. Sometimes I vape it too quickly and all the back to back long inhales + heat create a negative head rush. I'm afraid that if I let it cool between hits I'll get less out of the batteries per charge cycle that way. Is that fair or totally wrong?

OK, cool, I'll pass that word then. Order the Standard Voltage Revolution kit, then put in notes 'change to LV DART' and you'll set it right on your end? Cool.

Sorry about the software issues, but you know my view on that stuff already......

Hang in there, lad, it's only Monday.

When I first learned about the T1, I thought one bowl per battery charge didn't seem like much, and would end up being a hassle, but now that I am using it, I find that it really isn't that big of a deal. I have been able to fully vape a load on one set of batteries, no problem. Once the bowl is spent, it really doesn't take much more effort to toss out the used batteries, and pop in a fresh set while I am having to reload the bowl anyway. At my tolerance level, one bowl is plenty to get me beyond fully medicated, and sometimes I only get 2-3 puffs in before I need to set it down for a while. Since heat up time is only a few seconds I don't worry about letting it get cold, unless I was trying to vape the entire load in one session. So far I have not noticed that it decreases the battery life much when I take a couple of hits, put it down, then come back to it later. I still cash out the bowl, on one charge, and then change it all out for freshies once it's done. No point in giving yourself headaches in order to squeeze an extra hit or two out in my opinion. We all have different expectations and needs, hopefully the T1 is satisfying yours well enough. It's working amazingly well for me.

Just dropped my T1 on to a slate floor . . . it bounced and still works fine. I am so glad this thing is as robust as it is . . .
