i'm happy, looks like the Canadian government finally got off there backsides and ordered canada post back to work by passing the back to work legislation, so I hope that means it will now only be a week or so before I get my shipment.
Honestly they should have stamped on them hard as soon as these strikes started, similar to Thatcher in the UK with the miners in the 80s.
Shame I don't have anything to celebrate with, I just hope my shipment doesn't get lost in the mail because of the backlog they have to deal with.

I couldn't get a good snapshot of the birds at the feeder, the battery on my camera lasts for about 8 shots then dies. And we had some killer storms today lost power twice, went outside to check for a rainbow and there was a female deer about 15 feet from the front door just standing staring at me and of course I didn't have the camera with me..

An afternoon shot in our shallow back yard. You can see the huge drape of honeysuckle coming over the fence and the dogwood in the background was home to four cardinals that hatched and flew off just last weekend (2 male 2 female).

To all Canada customers: We have 4 or 5 units boxed and addressed, waiting on the Canadian Postal system to sort itself out. We continue to work on units and package them for Canadian customers in the order taken, but can't ship till USPS says Canadian PS is back in business. As of this afternoon USPS will not accept Canadian postage and I scan the BBC text page several times a day (it's my start page) and they have said nothing about an end to the strike. That's the official word from PD Land.

Update, USPS should start accepting Canadian Post Tuesday. We will see..
:)

Yes, drawings are welcome entries, read rule #2 for stipulations.

PD on the moon? Alright... Enjying the photo-manipulations , and since this is a summer photo contest of course we like any outdoor shot. Old Fart is that a . . . uhh , , , what???

114F here today, outdoors in summer is a bit brutal here.
(but it's a dry heat...)

Really liking the pics, dying to get mine! So from what I understand, no one is currently making those custom glass PD bubblers or stems regularly?

Great decision man, I'm sure you will be very pleased. From what I have read no, the glass PD specific stems or bubblers are not available at the moment, as the usual blower ClearDome, is MIA. :ninja:

Pic of the day, it was between this and a huge storm cloud's edge that's about to hit us. Will probably use that one for tomorrow.. Anyway, PD outside (it is summer) beside my cactus that is growing out of control! It grew 4 offshoots and 18 inches last season. Time for a new pot but she weighs so much I am not looking forward to the ordeal. :uhoh:

Used to listen to real Jazz , jazz out of a floating AM station on the Ohio River, "Radio Free Newport" ... WNOP, Newport , KY. Three tubes, upright in the river and anchored. Yellow submarine upended ? I'll look for a pic.

Found one...

Yes, just a little RIGHT of WLW (700AM) ... ;)

Blame WLW for Phil Donohue, it was the WLW-D affiliate who sprung this menace on us. And I got to watch it evolve. :D

Cincinnati had great radio heritage (and a lot of early TV stuff too...) .
