I have never turned Tigerwood, but I imagine it is very dense. The HI's made with very dense woods will also feel hotter to the touch and require passing back and forth between hands if you want to hold the upper part of the HI. The bottom part will always be relatively cool. I usually grab my HI by the lower part.

So I found my old black light and turned it on in my shop with the light out. I found some rather interesting things.

The black light pictures..they do remind me of what Frodo saw when he put the one ring on at weathertop, those shadows and features...but Alan doesn t have a ring does he?

wait a minute!..well um..I dont know what to say:D that ring looks kinda special:o

Hi Alan,
I feel the same way as EyeFonez and want to jump back on the list, can a person choose a particular kind of wood he wants his HI made out of from? I really don't care how long it takes since I already own one.

So far everything I've seen Alan create has been beautiful. Each piece different, yet each just as intricately awesome as it's predecessor or successor.

Thanks everyone. I was hoping you would enjoy my photography. I knew that Sumac had a bright glow under black light. I did not know about the other woods. It was a fun discovery. The sawdust made the table and floor very bright under the black light.

I always welcome repeat customers. Will just have to work you in with all the new customers.

I'm currently allowing everyone to select the wood they would like. This does slow things down a bit as I want to fill a customers request before moving on to the next person. I may need to try something different, but will keep doing what I'm doing for now.

The HI would not exist if not for cannabis stickstones. It has been the reason for all my great inventions and devices.

Wow those HIs look really nice, haha. Alan I emailed you like about a month ago asking about placing an order and you said itd be a few months before I'd be able to get one. Is that still correct? 2 months from now or would it be longer? Thanks

If it helps get a sense of time, i ordered Feb/28 and still don't got it but it won't be much longer.

Get on board and embrace the wait, it will be worth it! ;)

Ok, a few things to comment on since I last popped in (and because I'm high as hell right now):

1. Alan - The way I see it, you're a great innovator/artist, who also happens to vaporize. On the side, I've made you aware of my affinity/obsession for possessing fine woodwork, so you have my mad respect.

2. Having stalked this thread for quite a while (jumped on the wait list just over 3 months ago), I HI-ly encourage all readers on the fence about emailing Alan for a place in line to get said place in line. Alan's service is exemplary, as are the fine-ass folks on this thread--just ensure you have time to wait. I can easily deduce the list has grown quite a bit since I jumped on. This thread is so much fun, though torturous at times when you see a badass HI video.

Maybe boobs deserves his 2nd Hi early after all the great videos w eve all enjoyed.His Hi has been in a few scrapes already and even lost one of its limbs.Can t help but feel sorry for him:p

I combusted with the Hi last night.I can see why people go right off smoke.Must have flicked the temps to 15V while cleaning my vape area.Hit it just before bed... Oh Man.it hurt and everything stinks.I realise now the quality I have when I vape and d ont combust thanks to you guys and to the Hi.Mess with her and she will hurt you:tup:

Yes, yes. bOObs has been a force for us all. I take it back. I now only wish that he's at the very bottom of Alan's long, long, long list.

Kidding!! I kid because I care. I'm lol over here. bOObs knows I'd take a bullet for him (more like a bong hit, but you get the point).
