Ok, I'm too wiped out to try another video, but here is an abridged version of last night's video:

You can see the vapor if you squint real hard... black background or sunshine next time.

Thanks for the advice OTA. I'm not looking to save money, just experimenting. I wouldn't leave a sketchy PS hooked up to anything for long...

Me too that day will be Epic.

having fun with the stainless turbo tube stems Alan recently sent out to me.I haven t used any other stem/Hi combo since.my meds are going a lot further with the Hi too Im noticing just from the amount of meds i still have left over when normally im ordering by now.

I made some Hi abv double fudge brownies last weekend just before the huge moon thing.did nt expect much from the abv because of how well the Hi extracts .I soaked and simmered for 2 hours 2oz of abv with a stick of melted butter over a pan of water.then made brownies.

The brownies took a while to kick in but I had a 6 hour body stone from one piece of brownie.so different to vaping but very nice all the same:D all the next day I was pretty mellow too.:)

has anyone come up with a caddy stand to hold the Hi and stems.ive toppled mine a few times and im looking at making something like Alan posted on page 1 of the thread to stop her falling over

Thanks for posting the video cluffy. I have had the best luck in a dark room with a ray of sun coming through the shades. It really makes the vapor look dark. I like how you can see the vapor forming in the roasting tube.

Very nice photos EyeFonez. I'm glad you are pleased with your HI. You have many HI times ahead. I look forward to seeing your graduate from HI-school. Maybe even discover some new roasting techniques along the way.

Loving the ability to use the harder woods that would have taken too much heat away with heat sink technology. Finding smaller purple heart is much easier too.

Glad you are enjoying the new stainless roasting tube u bwade wunner. I haven't had a chance to make any more yet. Nice to hear you are getting something yet from your abv. I make tea from mine sometimes. Just place it in the Aeropress and it works great.

I'm sure we will see some more interesting videos from bOObs. They are always so good.

Video soon! Just been busy as hell lately!:buzz:

My purple heart HI heats up super quick and stays hot. The really nice thing I like about the wood is that it's never gotten HOT to the touch, I'd say just pretty warm and I leave it on all the time, turning it down a hair when I'm not using it. My UD sometimes gets a little hot to where I need to pass it back and forth between my hands to dissipate the heat, so it's nice not to have to do that when I come back from not having used my vape for a little.

Looking forward to seeing a video EyeFonez. Purple Heart wood does work pretty well for the HI. Some woods that are more dense will hold a little more heat and feel hotter to the touch. I have never turned Tigerwood, but I imagine it is very dense. The HI's made with very dense woods will also feel hotter to the touch and require passing back and forth between hands if you want to hold the upper part of the HI. The bottom part will always be relatively cool. I usually grab my HI by the lower part.

So I found my old black light and turned it on in my shop with the light out. I found some rather interesting things.
