Anyone think of this before? Or am i the first???

I wanted a way to effectively use my Walnut VG in a waterpipe, so i had the brilliant idea of combining my Walnut VG and my Aluminum Bat VG (which i never use anymore). Will be trying it out probably tomorrow, and will post back with results!

Just had a late-night session with my new VG Coil, and my balls are vaped off. The simplicity is fantastic. Through my bong rules.

Great to hear you're having fun with it, that's what it's for you know. The VG can teach you a bunch about vaping too. After you get familiar with it, give this a try:

Carefully vape a few hits past loss of taste but way short of wringing the last bit out. Then stop (early) and dump the ABV and set it aside. With the very light stuff with the taste, you've taken most of the THC we're mostly after and only some of the CBD which is heavier still. The ratio of THC to CBD now favors the CBD much more than before. Although weaker overall, you now have 'high CBD' weed. Vape a couple bowls (remember, it's weaker overall) and you get the more physical, relaxing high CBD can deliver. IMO a great resource for medical users. A great way to experiment with this using the weed you have handy.

Most cool. Been a long time since I assigned home work.....this is really much better than those other tasks, trust me on that.

Enjoy your new toy, it's a powerful tool, really. Despite it's looks... It just needs a craftsman to use it right.

Alrighty then, OF. Pretty effing good tip! :ko:

This VG Coil is the SHIT! I've futzed about with it quite a bit this weekend--through my bong, as a pipe, and I even rigged up a portable bubbler thingy using my small Aqua Vape and some whip tubing (kinda difficult to mess with, but I tried nonetheless). The bong is the way to go, as you mentioned earlier. But using as a pipe helps me learn how to use it to reach my preferred taste.

Thanks again!

You're welcome. Use it in good health! Quite literally. You'll live longer vaping. And in a cool way it pays for itself in herb savings. Have you noticed that part yet?

I most certainly have noticed. My schedule is quite established...ritualistic, if you will...meaning I know exactly how much I use/spend. At first, because vaporizing tasted so good, I used as much if not more. I mean, how could I not??!! For years I've had unfettered access to the finest herbs, and finally...FINALLY, the taste matched the smell, and if anything, the taste was better.

But now that I've settled down, I estimate I'll go from $3,100 per year to $1,900. Beats a stick in the eye, eh?

This VG Coil is a freakin' monster. I love having the flexibility this offers. I'm getting down quite nicely, thank you. Tasty clouds at will.

Nice to see you're digging your Coil V-hole (hehehe).

It really is a neat little piece. Did you get the newer fatter coil or the older thinner one?

Granted a lot of that hundred dollars a month is going to go into your gas tank at today's 'improved' prices and all, but it's still real savings. Fun to think how the VG 'pays for itself' in a couple of weeks' savings on bud buys.

Mind you a guy can get a bad case of VAS and go broke saving money that way......

Use and enjoy it in good health. Thanks for the good word, a true FC happy ending. I don't know about you, but I like happy endings......

Thanks, J.R.R. This thing is awesome. Turned my bandmates on to it tonight. I just bought it, so I'm guessing it's the fatter one. Lots of bowl space, but not too much. I posted pics on the previous page.

Too late, OF, I'm already a VAS sufferer. And I just had a happy ending with my coil. Time for bed!

Cheers, my friends!

High Folks! Used my small Aqua Vape thingy to make a dandy setup for my VG Coil so I can use water on the go! A bit crude to work with, but I'll refine it soon enough. I have more appropriate tubing that won't kink when bent as needed to operate alone, and I think that'll do it. I'll post a video soon for those who care. I'm having so much fun with this thing. :ko:

I'd love to see a video of that.

A question in general for VG users, have you ever experimented with cooling down your VG before vaping with it? It should produce more condensed vape inside the pipe, and that stuff is my favorite. Creates the best high ever (for me at least, I don't have california quality bud mind you). Sadly I don't have the opportunity to experiment with this myself

Never tried that myself but it should work. The glass sherlock already collects a ton of condensed vapor though, only takes a few sessions before it's turning opaque.

my vg isn't the best for collecting vaperesin IMO, most collects under the screen, but also small particles fall trough so it's a mixture of small abv particles and vaperesin. in the beginning I had some good vaperesin, but I thnk I grinded coarser back then, maybe stirred less too. and with hash more falls trough too

used my VG last night and had a really nice cloud straight away. I thought that this is great but the next two times I had a strong taste of metal where the flame had touched the rim.
I am using an electronic ignition lighter and I am taking care not to touch the ceramic filter but the rim of the VG is now black with soot which has put me right off the unit.
I followed the instructions and video demo's maybe I need a better lighter/technique.
Is the metal toxic?

Soot it not right, although fairly common. It's partially burned fuel from your lighter. You need to keep the flame further out so it can all burn rather than hitting cold metal and having the reaction stop before the carbon (soot) is converted to CO2 (gas) instead. If not too bad, it should clean up with normal use. If not there's a burn out procedure using a home vacuum cleaner.

Yes, your technique could use a little work. Candle flame lighters like your can be made to work fine, but you need to watch out for the soot thing, some guys find torch type lighters are easier to control. FWIW I'm one of them for the most part.

No, the metal is Stainless Steel, not generally considered toxic.....which is why it's used I guess?

Keep after it, you can master the guy, lots of other guys have.

Thanks for the positive, I shall persist as the first cloud and taste were great

Very cool. So you know what can happen, go for it. Back in the day, the fellow who founded the Texas Rangers had a saying "you can't beat a man that knows he's right and keeps on a comin'". Guys with a lot less going for them than you and I have sorted this out successfully long ago.

Better yet - learn the ways of a micro torch.

I cant stress this enough (especially) to the SS Coil VG users. The accumulated soot from a dirty burner is a PITA to have to clean (not to mention bothers me to think that it too is making it in my lungs) Hence the micro torch.

I have been using my VG coil for quite some time with the torch and I much prefer it (IMO). Yes, the metal does eventually discolor a wee bit, but it doesnt accumulate the soot like it does with its fellow dirtyburners.

The biggest challenge with a micro torch is the technique and how far away you truly have to have the torch. (You are using its HEAT - NOT its flame) :) So mouthfeel of the passing air/vapor is the ticket. The upside of this is the fact that you have to hold the flame further away from the hole, and it helps alleviate the 'cross eyed' technique that you have to adopt with a regular lighter :D

(EDIT) LOL I just realized you made mention of the micro torch OF. How about a +1 to your suggestion then :D
Great minds

With you on this on AGB almost all the way. I feel, for whatever reason, some folks aren't comfortable waving all that nearly invisible, noisy fire around their face.....fancy that! In the end, much of what we're looking for comes from being relaxed and comfortable. I think folks should be encouraged to check it out, but we need to accept it's not for everyone. Fortunately it doesn't have to be.

And neat as it is, I think both easily beat hemp wick....which also has it's champions?

Thanks.

Well, recently my old trusty gooseneck micro torch bit the dust and I *tried* to go back to the ole 'dirty flame' method and didnt have as much success. (Not to mention I was getting some nasty sooties)

In seeing that these micro torches are normally only found online or in seedy gas stations, I was getting kinda depressed. The upright torches that are available are way too big (I can see why you might be hesitant to have one of those in your face) So, I went to Home D. and picked up one of the Benzo micro pen torches. The flame size is perfect, and even cooler is the attachment that they consider a 'blower' in which basically acts as a flame filter/diffuser but (might) make others more comfy in having it in their faces. The only downside to this torch is the fact that you have to use an external source to light it.
This is what I speak of -

And for $10 at my local Home D. I am more than pleased.
Now lets see how long it lasts :D

Hello everybody.

First of all, sorry for my bad English, but I'm French.

So, I want to know some things concerning the VaporGenie.

In fact, I'm 18 right now, and I've been smoking cigarettes and w**d for 2 years.
I wanna try vapes now, as I'm annoyed of all these non-healthy things contained in cigarettes.

Why the VaporGenie ? Because I like the fact that it looks like a pipe, and I don't want to use an electronic thing, or something looking like a Talkie Walkie.

So, the question is :
Is there a real difference between the original VG and the aluminum one ?
(I don't want to try the coil, because of its design)

Thanks in advance.
