Arizer Solo

Really cool, I need a box like that!

Is the amber glass jar neckless? I am searching for neckless ones.

I screwed this up several times already. I charge to prepare for extended use, doesn't matter how much is left on the charge (very bad, i know). So my battery isn't the greatest it seems now, maybe because of this? It seems my battery is only 70% as good as when I first got it, about 4 months ago.
I think mine is the same. m103

Thinking about picking up one of these in the next couple weeks. Would you guys say this is more or less efficient than a magic flight? I like being able to get as high as possible off as little as possible :smug:

I think its more efficient than a LB but not by much. The arizer bowls can hold .1-.2. Personally if you want to conserve as much as possible I'd say go with the Thermovape, TV evolution or the Underdog

Edit: or any other log vape.

Last night, I ran out of flowers, and my omicron was showing signs of not having enough oil on it, so I junked it and reclaimed the oil from the cart.
I probably got 0.15g (the general consensus is it won't hit as well once it's got less than 0.2g in the cart) of really dark (almost black) oil from it.
I threw about half of that in between a herb sandwich (using bud I'd saved from a BHO run) and wow.
I got a full cycle on 4, then a full cycle on 5, then about 3/4 of a cycle on 7.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, even though the oil was dark, it was still very tasty

Is there a way to charge the Solo battery by itself? Does the battery come out?

My humble opinion is that the solo wins hands down for efficiency. You can put just a pinch of herb in that bowl or even less and it will vape the hell out of it with no effort from the user. Sometimes to conserve I put barely enough herb in there to cover the ss screen (maybe 0,01) and I still get 2-3 good clouds. If I have a low tolerance at that time it sure can get me HIIIIIIIIIGH!!! :ko:
MFLB? Less than 0,1g loads don't work so well and you get black pieces of herb and shitty taste very quickly. Oh, and wispy hits too. Oh, and shitty taste compared to the solo. Oh, and you have to shake all the time. Oh, and the taste is never the true taste of the herb because it is masked from the tons of oils that are gathered under the screen and you can never clean them.... Oh, oh, oh... Too many ohhh's compared to the solo... Sorry MF, but while the box is a great way to start this vaporising journey, it's no match for a glass airway and convection vaporiser... :2c: Ex fan myself of the box but no more, thank you...

I think the MFLB is great but since I got the Solo it has been my primary portable vape.
I'm always amazed by how many huge hits you can get from such a small amount.
And now there are all these cool new stems and goodies coming out for the Solo!

Just loving the Solo with my new Zapubler...it packs quite a punch, especially for being portable.
I don't think you'll have any regrets going with the Solo. :2c:

Arizer says a lot of things. This is why I don't believe them. It makes sense to me that the 107 released in human time AFTER the 106 is probably a new model. They just don't want everyone beta testing with the earlier models to think they should return theirs for an upgrade IMO. No facts for this, but when the company is totally avoiding contact on the site and doesn't even acknowledge their own product on their site, its pretty hard to get ANY facts. This is why everything with the solo ends up being assumption based.

They have never said any such ting to my knowledge. One of the retailers (PIU) made that false claim to a user here that they sent a M106 and they wanted an M107. Somehow this has turned into Arizer said such nonsense and I don't believe that was ever the case.

We get that you don't like Arizer and they certainly aren't model citizens around here like THC Scientific for example. But some of use really do enjoy our units. How bout lettting us enjoy them please.

EDIT: and on the MFLB. No comparison. The MFLB is a toy that doesn't medicate me. The solo is a tool that medicates me and everyone else very effectively. MFLB is far more portable but a portable device that doesn't medicate me is useless. The MFLB, the charger, the extra batteries were all a waste of money and cost more than the Solo. That said I lot of folks who like the MFLB enjoy the Solo too.

I do let people enjoy their vaporizers. I am completely fine that some people have units they are happy with. There are certain things that the company does that come off as shady to many people, and certain issues that do exist. To not talk about the pros AND cons would be more of an advertisement than a review forum. I know there are other people like me who would absolutely take the actions of the company into consideration when spending money on a vaporizer. I would have never bought it if I knew what I know now, and that's assuming I got one of the units that people say doesn't smell and functions properly. I just want to be handled like a valued customer and not told something to be appeased when they are telling other people different information. I don't like the lack of disclosure of the materials and the mystery substances some people find inside their vaporizers. This is all of great concern to people like me. What you will NEVER hear me say are things about the vaporizers performance. It takes a little bud and produces a large amount of vapor fairly quickly. Some people want nothing more than vapor, I wanted support from a company and more than copy/paste emails to concerns that they don't take as seriously as I do. I think people need to have ALL the facts to make a good decision suitable for them.

I could say the same thing to you about you not liking the MFLB. You call it a toy, yet there are THOUSANDS of people at this point who use it to get fully medicated. Hell some of the staff here use nothing more than the MFLB! It's your opinion though and the point is you should be free to have AND POST your opinions. If I was a heavy user I'd take from your post that its not a hard hitter. That is good and valid info learned from your negative opinion. Same thing I was doing with the solo, but even more so with Arizer as a company.

Hope you understand no offense meant at all. I just favor open discussion even when it is an unfavorable opinion.

I agree with this comment and the sentiment. I changed my opinion and now love my Solo... but Arizer stinks as far as I am concerned as well.
By the way... In response to the comment about an MFLB and batteries etc costing more than a Solo....
I can get an MFLB kit, 4 spare batteries, an OEM grinder, an Ed's TNT wooden stem and meds to go with it for less than the cost of the solo!

I agree. I disliked my 2 experiences with the vape, but that is not nearly as bad as taking issues with the whole company and how they operate for me. Yeah the MFLB is undoubtedly cheaper than the solo if you ask me. I'd buy a MFLB and a TON of batteries for less than the price of solos. Plus lets not forget that the day WILL come when those solo internal batteries die. When that starts happening around here I expect people will be complaining big time. For me that was something I considered when I bought it though. When I got my solo I figured "if I get at least 1.5 years out of the battery I'll be ok with replacing it". Some people may find that a horribly short time, but I was ok with it . That was just my personal guesstimate, as far as I can tell no one knows exactly how long these batteries are going to last. I know I read about several people saying the battery life has gone down drastically since they got it already.

Darkrom, just a note on the battery issue. It is possible to buy the batteries the solo uses and changing them is not very dificult. So, although it is not as easy and pratical as buying a new set of AA batts, IMO, this is not one of the things that should steer you away from that.

On the Arizer as a company issues, i agree although i never dealt with them personaly.

After much research, I have decided that the Arizer Solo is the best vape for me. However, I have some questions about the product I was hoping FC could help me out with:

-Would it be advisable to purchase another glass tube along with the vape? How strong are those stems?
-I have some experience with a MFLB. From my experiences, I have noticed that the MFLB vape smells strongly of a "dank odor". I have discussed with my roommate, and he has agreed that I can smoke inside as long as it doesn't smell. Does the vapor smell strongly of herb? Like literally, could I smoke in the same bathroom as my roommate and he wouldn't smell it?
-Does anyone have a carrying case for the vape? Is it necessary? Could i easily make a good one at home?

I really appreciate you guys helping me out in buying my first vape. Any reviews, pro and cons list, regrets, or praises are welcome. From what I have seen through my research, almost everyone LOVES this thing.

Just in case it would help, I have found a dealer selling the m107. (I know that there were complaints about loose stems in the early models)

With very much appreciation,

....welcome, extra stems won't hurt...(get the 4 holes)...I don't notice any smell with the solo...(but then again I'm not concerned with that...it's possible I'm just not sensitive to it)....I have a case, yes it's nice to have... If you are using it as a portable...

Thanks for the reply. I do plan on using it as portable. It will spend most of its time in my car. I consider myself fairly responsible, so do you think i could make a case out of a draw-string bag and some shirts to cushion it?

vaporgenie sells them for $15 free shipping and the screens from vaporgenie work great in the solo stems

I was going to ask your opinion on screens. Are they necessary? Is there a certain size I need? Would I be able to make my own by buying a sheet weaved like that from a hardware store?
