Anyone know if a new version of this is on the works soon would love one with a little bit of a better battery life.
with arizer's efforts to promote the solo in mind, I doubt it... I haven't found battery life to be a problem though as my unit is always charging when not in use. It would be tricky for a 3 day trip outdoors...

natural farmer,

here for the chicks
Depends on how long it takes you to vape a load and on which setting you do it.

I think an average of seven 12 minute sessions per battery load is realistic.

Hmm that doesn't sound too bad I guess I would want about an hour of use.

An hour of use? If it's continuous it would get a LOT of people vaked and a hot Solo you can barely hold...
Maybe I misunderstood...
I wouldn't be back to backlike a few mins in between each pack.

quite a high tolerance man.. I guess you can always charge between bowls...
That and I don't have good connections but when I was use my CRZ I need three stems how that on a solo, I know the solo has to hold more right?

AFAIK the solo can hold more but it depends on how you pack mostly. From 0,01g to 0,2g there is a huge difference on the high you are getting. I put a whisp of herb for a light buzz or pack it almost full for a K.O. Never needed more than one bowl, even at high tolerance periods... :D

Yea well I'm sure there is a huge difference in what you and I get lol. Yours being of way better quality of course lol. But yea I need two or three stems with what I have available to me.

I did two barely full bowls yesterday - KO! :ko:

AND I have a screen in there, so that reduces the amount that fits.

I realize the key is NOT to pack it. Somehow I actually get WAY MORE CLOUDS, by putting LESS. Weird!

The perfect amount for me seems to be from half a bowl (with screen) to a full bowl, but never packed in!

Those two bowls had me so vaporized I couldn't even collect my thoughts or talk to Vito about his new toys. Sorry Vito, I blame the Solo!

I happen to have a small bit of good stuff a really good friend hooked me up with! It's maybe about 10% or so - but that's like double what I am used to always getting!

A bowl of some 20% or so - should leave most people not on cloud 9 but cloud 42!!!

Vito, did you say you had the m104?

I enjoyed my m106 Solo on "2" for a very long time. Now I spend lots of time experimenting on different temps. A few days on "3", next few days on "7", another week back to "2". Last night - KO on "5". It's fun :)

By the way, a few weeks ago, I asked Kevin about the temperatures for m106 and m107 and here is what he said:

Only a small number of Solo units had an adjusted temperature, and your two units have the following temperature settings:

7 - 210 C
6 - 205 C
5 - 200 C
4 - 195 C
3 - 190 C
2 - 185 C
1 - 50 C

Hi Welcome to FC :)

It's a little hard to understand but I will try to answer :)

The Solo is worth the amount over the MFLB because:

1. Better, longer lasting Battery
2. More temperature and power control
3. More cleanable bowl and unit
4. More effecient heating, less stirring/shaking needed
5. Easier to use - no pushing in batteries and less learning

There are probably many more reasons it is much better, and worth the extra money.

and the temps users here measured don't backup arizers assertions. See the wiki for more info.

Hmm that's m105, I wonder if anyone has measured m106 or m107 and if there is a difference?

It would seem weird that the "2" setting is really 150°C, not 185°C, and that I still get a lot of vapor, and it's a 35° difference!

Yes.. I am using the M104.
Interesting that the one I wound up using and liking on is the older of the models!
Vitolo that be your favorite as the higher of: no2, mflb, arizer solo? thanks for your answer!

Huh,

There are three sets of temps in that table. Theoretical, M104, M105. According to Arizer M104 and M106 and M107 are the same. No one here has posted M106 or M107 data but we can see from the M104 data which was posted and arizers theoretical data they provided you doesn't line up. Off by as much as 15c. They never provided a M105 temp to compare their spec against a production unit. The data there is simply a production unit.

LevelSpec TempMeasured Temp M104Measured Temp M105
1 122°F ( 50°C) 40°C 40°C
2 365°F (185°C) 170°C 150°C
3 374°F (190°C) 183°C 163°C
4 383°F (195°C) 195°C 175°C
5 392°F (200°C) 205°C 185°C
6 401°F (205°C) 220°C 200°C
7 410°F (210°C) 235°C 220°C

do u get higher with an attachment?

I'm under the impression that it certainly does not get you any more high. Maybe because you can turn up the heat setting to 7 with the water pipe to cool it down you get slightly more, but I would think the difference to be negligible . Maybe I'm wrong though, in which case someone with more complete knowledge of the subject should step in and correct me.

Thanks rufrothy!

What about "2" - that's off by 35°C, no?

What's bugging me out now, is that I've been vaporizing on "2", at 150 instead of 185, and enjoying it. Could it be I wasn't getting anything, and it was just a placebo effect? Or my tolerance is super low...?
