Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

can i stick my male joint in there?
Thanks for the videos bOObs - very helpful. I am purchasing either a Vriptech or Life Saber. What/if any issues do you users have with the Life Saber? I like the fact that the company was considerate enough to include a screen pinch in their water pipe adaptor. It looks like the vape can produce some good rips as well.

Best,

my lsv has perform flawlessly so far. i really have nothing bad to say about the lsv. once mastered the lsv is a killer vape, especially paired with glass.

So, I bout one of the flavor discs from 7th floor... I was going to wait till I got some legit con. but couldn't wait so I tried some wand honey on 420 just to see what happnened. Anyway, long story short, cranked the LSV up to full blast and smeared the honey on the stone. It was as this point I found out the stone doesn't rest right in the WPA. I'm guessing the stone is the right size for the direct draw glass stem but I just fashiokned a new screen into a seat that fits the WPA. At full heat the honey sunk right into the stone and made some tasty vapor. I really wish I had some concentrate to saturate this stone but for now all i can say is that it defnitely works.

I'm close to buying the LSV - it will cost me right at $300 US with the various extra attachments. I'm just skeptical that a soldering iron type device will give me the vape power that I'm accustomed to with the Steinel heat gun - but I sincerely hope I'm wrong. I've narrowed it down to the LSV and Vriptech as I enjoy vaping with water/ice filtration and these 2 models accomplish this without all the bulk & noise of the heat gun. Any input is appreciated.

Best!

.....yeah, the lsv allows for different methods to submit ice/water into the vapor path...thus enhancing the vapor experience...this is good.

That's what I want to hear bOObs! I've been testing the LSV water pipe attachment with my Steinel heat gun and I'm impressed with the fact that they incorporated a screen pinch and created a nice clean design. The water pipe attachment was shipped promptly and both emails that I sent the company were replied to quickly. I'm feeling pretty good about the LSV.

Yea grab the LSV bro.
Had it 3 months now.
I usually hit my glass with the wpa.
I do enjoy the wand for flavor hits. The narrow tube brings the taste right out.
My shorty Vaper Tamer is nice to hit, but only stays cold for about one bowl pack.
I find I use less product per session, however the first few weeks I blew through shit because the thing is so fucking fun to hit :D

Hey vader - thanks for posting here. I definitely like the fact that you can hit it with the wand and your glass.

got my "flavor disc" today. haven't even used it yet, but it's already disappointing. first off, is the fact that it was grossly overpackaged. for an item that is literally the size of a fucking Altoid mint, you do not need a small flat rate box filled with packing peanuts. simple bubble wrap and an envelope would suffice. spend ~.50 on postage, not 6.20 (which cost more than the disc). also, despite my previous assumptions, the flavor disc is clearly not intended for the wpa. going back to the lsv site, I see they picture a transfer wand with the disc, but they really should have stated it's not meant for the wpa. be interesting to see if works anyway though.

Here's the packaging, the disc is on the red stripe.

...I had ordered a transfer wand with mine and they both came overly wrapped...thought it was because of the glass transfer wand .. now I see it's not.. . they do not have a monopoly on this behavior. ...

Hey Boobs, do you still use your LSV now you have a cloud? I've had my LSV for a year and it is pretty much all I use unless out and about, the wand doesn't get used, just the wpa, trying to work out if I really need to spend the $$$ for a new toy to use with my glass when my number comes up.

yea i still use my lsv alot, i like vaping hash and waxes, i feel the lsv does this better. also use it when i'm in a rush since the cloud seem to perform better with at least 15 min heat up. with the lsv i'm already high as shit by that time.

Downward spiral
I was wondering if anyone knows the temp of LSV at 12 o'clock setting? I know they may be slightly all a bit different, but there has to be some consensus. Just curious.

Thanks

The only consensus I can think of for pretty much all of 7th floor vapes is make 12 your sweet spot, and then 12 is always nice vaping temp.
There are variables that can affect the temp too much for 12 to be reliably the same between units.
For example, I just recently got my LSV back from a warranty repair, and I thought it may have been running cool as I was only getting vapor at full blast, and I could only fully cook the load by drawing slowly.
I changed my heater cover, and now I'm getting nice, thick vapor at 12. So I can only assume it is either because of the slightly smaller air intake hole on the old heater cover, or the fact that my newest heater cover came without a screen installed...
Either way, those are 2 pretty minor things to give such a major performance difference.

This thread needs some love:cool:
I've been using my LSV + my new EFS Gridded donut tube as my go-to setup over the last few days...
When I first got my replacement LSV back the other week (along with a 14mm AND 18mm WPA to compensate me for shipping:ko:) , I thought it was running cool :ugh:.
I cranked it to full, and I still had to draw stupidly slow to thoroughly roast the load:suspicious:.

I also noticed that the heater cover didn't come with a screen in it (but I've still got the 2 that came with the original LSV, so no worries there ), but I didn't think much of it as I never use the transfer wand, always the WPA...

After a couple of unsatisfactory sessions, I was considering contacting 7th floor to see if there was a way to find out of the unit was actually running cool...
I figured I should Install the screen into the heater cover, just incase it created turbulance or something that would help with heat transfer...
I couldn't find my screens, so I just swapped out the heater cover for another one I had that already had a screen in it.
 Problem Solved :smug:

I'm now getting nice, thick vapor at 10-11 on the dial, and taking it to 12-1 will fully toast a load (I get some charring, but for me its worth it to get the most out of the herb)

I plan on shooting a few videos to pimp out the LSV soon...

For the past 5 months I've been a diehard, 100% concentrates only omicron/omicron v2 user. Didn't touch herb during that time, enjoying the convenience of the omicron's "daily sipping". Two things about that: 1) my tolerance went up so fast I don't even enjoy the high anymore and it takes an hour just to feel something and 2) the omicron seems to add a bad metallic/chemical flavor to the concentrates. Trying it on a thermovape dart, you can tell the obvious difference. The dart tastes like a clean ti nail, the omicron tastes like chinese nychrome wire, most noticeable in the first 20-40 hits of the gram.

Anyways, I used to have an arizer solo. It was my choice for herb. I sold it when I went concentrates, then I used a friend's last weekend and started nearly crying and bawling at the taste. I had forgotten about how good it was, and I had been missing out on it for the past 5-6 months of my life!!

So, I literally had my M107 arizer solo, spare screens and bent 4 hole stems ready to check out, added into planetvape's cart.

I don't know how, but I then saw vitolo's LSV video on youtube (I believe I was searching for arizer solo + glass to see how it milked with glass attached). That spun me off into another 3 hours of research..

But thanks to this thread (well.. the first 25 pages kind of scared me), and Vitolo's testimony (thank you), I feel pretty confident in making this wildcard purchase over the solo that I already know I love. I bought the LSV, along with a spare heater cover, a spare long transfer wand, a fatty bowl adapter, and some screens. I absolutely cannot wait, I shipped it to my home address but am currently in Seattle until next Sunday, so the wait is going to be agonizing. Hope I can make it...

Thanks for the great information in this thread, everyone. I'll be sure to come back and follow up to see whether the LSV meets, exceeds, or falls short of expectations.

EDIT: God, it's only been 6 hours since I placed the order and I am going out of my mind. I'm pretty sure I have watched *EVERY* LSV video out there, including tokinGLX's sneak peak of it even before it was released. Anyone have anything for me to watch while I chomp at the bit all week? :D

I have seen pictures of newer heater covers, and it also appears that the intake hole is lower. which would raise the temperature, due to the prolonged contact with the element. from reading this thread, it seems my lsv runs cool, and I think it's because of the old-style heater cover. on my lsv, with the element pulled out to the max and the HC pushed all the way down, the element is only 3/4-1" above the intake hole. due to this, I usually run it on full blast, which gives light brown abv

Took a short clip today of the lsv and one of my larger tubes. Sorry for the quality. I blame time, lighting, and equipment issues (nothing was my fault :D). I turned on my PC the other day only to get a warning: raid error, and last time it was a real pain to fix, so I have been putting it off.... Not to mention the dogs were getting antsy. :dog: So here it is.

Thank you ThirdGunMan.

I say thank you, because I've already watched pretty much every LSV video I've found here, on youtube, etc. And I want more. I NEED MORE. MY PRECIOUS!!!!

Sorry, I just got my tracking # for my LSV today so I am just a little excited.... the wait is agonizing though.
