Thanks for the review and awesome pics! What does being cold and rainy have to do with a Cloud going cold? I don't follow unless you are using it out of doors. I would love for SM55 to chime in on what's going on with that, as you're not the first.

VERY intrigued about your reference to the VHW! Wow, that much of a game changer eh? I was going to use the VHW to fill my vapour gap in the interim but now i'm not so sure anymore.

Seems like nothing even comes CLOSE to the extraction of this beast. Also sounds like some of you really don't have "hot" running units, seems to be a common motif from the last several reviews.

Surprisingly the ABV after that sesh was only light brown, they were very nice smooth hits far from combustion.

Thanks man, that's fucking awesome! Super extraction and thick smoke like clouds, and the ABV comes out light brown? Is it possible to attain the lower temp "blue clouds" as well, or is it still pretty hot around 9-10am?

Do you agree with the assessment that it gets you blazed more than any other vape you've tried?

With the knob turned full down (7oclock) you still get massive clouds similar to in my video, though it is certainly lower temperature. The vapor feels significantly different with the knob turned down, it doesnt 'Look' much different though.

It certainly hits me different than other vapes I've tried, i'm not sure it gets me MORE high. I'd say it gets me high faster than anything else.

Actually I have looked and didn't notice any darkening. I'll look again. I think though that it might vary depending on the herb, load, time, temp.

That's a good point about heating the herb yourself to get the best flavor. I've noticed that too. The pre-heat is great if you want that first hit to be very big. But for the taste, gradual might be better.

Comparing to hits/hits size, I havent seen these "monster" clouds yet. Nothing bigger than Ive ripped off using my LSV and water pipe adapter. Almost the same when side by side testing(but Ive gotten 2 bad clouds so far, so not really sure how cloud will do when working fully/properly) the other day. My Cloud had a "cold" spell and I wanted to get my LSV to test to make sure I just wasnt really medicated. Side by side, thru a Bwilson 6-arm bubbler, I noticed no major difference, albeit my Cloud is working when it wants to not when I want. Maybe you dont have to worry about breathing technique when ripping Cloud, but LSV you kinda do a little bit more. I am intrigued but not ready to write this off as the greatest thing since ....
My Solo ripped bigger during the "cold" spell the Cloud had.(About 3-4 60 min. sessions before it snapped back to temps).

I have had 3 Arizer Solo models (M102, M103, and the M105) and I have never pulled clouds like the ones the VXC has to offer. Not knocking the Arizer products in any way because the Solo was actually my daily driver for months but I feel the VXC beats it in almost every regard and is much more suitable for my needs.

I think you misconstrued his post. He said it ripped bigger when his Cloud wasn't operating properly. But the Solo is my daily (well not so daily anymore) driver so I really appreciate your input. Happy to hear you're in the clouds!

I've mentioned this before without an answer from a forum member or anyone from the VXL crew, but are the Botanicals available? Or is this just something on their website?

well it was cold/windy and heavy rain last few nights making my room cold at 4am (im to cheap to turn the heat back on lol) but I used it during the day yesterday and it was fine and yes it is the most efficient vape ive used so far and ive have the vhw extreme Q and the vape bros

Thanks for the explanation. It appears then that the Cloud does have an "operating temp" range, or at least a minimum. Might be good for VXL to add that to their website for the shed/garage vaporists. Please continue to update us as you dial in and use your Cloud some more.

Has anyone had a large group sesh with a cloud yet? I did and just had people pass it around firmly holding the base unit. No accidents to report of other than a buddy getting to cloudy and eating a whole bag of chips at the bbq

Got my brothers wedding this weekend, so tomorrow night we are going to put it through its paces with 4-6 participants and only the tippy-top quality flowers and concentrates known to man.

I am pretty sure we will stick with the VHW Station Method, with the persons moving rather than the apparatus.

I just signed up to pre-order this vaporizer. How long is the general waiting time frame? I understand they have been in per-production mode for quite some time. I like the fact you can use this with your existing water pipes. I have tried to switch to vaporization several times before but I never end up fully switching. I just prefer downing my medication quickly in a water pipe.

I signed up around August of 2011 or so and still haven't received an e-mail, just be patient :)

I know one thing,,,,,I get higher watchng 'cloud' videos than I do watching 'other' vape videos. :rockon:

I tell everyone the same thing! No problems as of yet...It's interesting that a few of my friends are slowly rolling through with buds since they exclusively buy hash (wax,oil,etc.). All of them are blown away by the taste, it truly is second to none. From my experience I rarely come across wax that is as flavorful than a fresh ELB. The first rip of girl scout cookies or a sweet sour diesel are heavenly!

I suggest those without clouds create a separate thread to discuss order dates. It would help those with clouds from having to skim over posts and make it easier for those without clouds to discuss their pre-orders.

My unit works just like yours THCMuscle, and it seems like there are many others like ours. I do think this is how my unit is intended to work. I also think the next model of the cloud needs to have a lower minimum temperature, I always find that I wish I could go just a tad lower.

As far as preheating ELBs goes, I find I try to avoid this as much as possible. I find, as with any other vape, that the best flavour vapes away very quickly, and that I lose a lot of this taste if I preheat, especially if Im not hooked up to the HT or bubbler. If Im green, I just plug and draw immediately and definately have no problems getting thick clouds even on the first hit.
