Solo stealth?

My belov-ed CRZ was recently arrested and swiftly sentenced to death for possession, and I've had to consider either buying another vape or returning to the archaic days of combustion-- like that's even an option! I waited until 4/20 for a deal and ordered an Arizer Solo, which is currently en route to save the day. I am currently pondering the possible implications of a portable vape, including using it in nearly every situation at any time. What do you peeps do when, and perhaps more importantly, what Ideas do you have for, hiding the solo in plain sight? I have seen the pictures of the cans and the cup, but as I do not yet own the unit, I do not completely understand how this works (ie straw). Can anyone elaborate on this idea, or share any other useful or potentially useful ideas that would help in the successful stealth use or transport of the solo?

I actually thought of posting this whilst reading the Solo thread. I thought that there must be more ways to hide the thing than in a cup or can, and that some people would perhaps like to share some ideas. After a few searches coming up blank, and a lack of capacity on my part to read 200+ pages, I decided that there needed to be a separate thread on the subject.

That's no problem, but i'm sure this will be merged into that thread. I honestly don't know what the fuss about stealth is with this little bad boy. Cans, cups, etc.... i dunno, I don't use anything, it looks like a little can of red bull or beverage, or it's just an e-cig I guess I just don't vape out in public as much as some of you.

Bleezy, i don't have a Solo either but IMO you wouldn't need the stealth adapter. It is more pratical of course, and easier to pull it off, but if you use the stem as the straw and the cup covering the Solo, you are pretty much set.

If it fits a regular soda can, just cut off the top of the can, put your hand on top of it with the stem between your fingers, and drink the damn thing. hheheh.

I don't know about you but more often than not, even if people look at me, and realize they don't understand what it is, it takes a lot to make them ask me what it is.

I only had to explain myself to friends. Maybe it is because we are vapor pioneers, and it hasn't been on the news or anything, 99% of the people just have no idea what to make of it.

And now, with the e-cigs, most people will assume it is a weird e-cig. hehe.

My friends says my LB looks like a weird ashtma inhaler. My genie looks like a regular pipe. And the solo in a can looks like a beverage. That is what 99% will assume. It is like cheating in a test, just got to act natural.

If you really want to stealth it up, then i think the beverage cup is the best option, especially in a car. Outside you would be better served with a e-cig like device, for the reasons i said above, or a LB since you can hide it in your hands.

The problem with the soda can or the cup is, and i speak for myself, it is large and unpratical to carry around, and it is strange to carry it everywhere.

If hiding the CRZ (a legit essential oil diffuser) in plain sight didn't work for you, good luck with the Solo or any other vape. If you're not hiding it out of sight, there has to be an explanation for its purpose.

Here is why I thought it was on topic. He had a CRZ and apparently liked it, but is looking for a more portable option and was looking at the solo. I have a Solo as well as a V-tower, and they are great products (Arizer is top notch), but once I got the car adapter for the underdog the solo has seen far less use. It's just not practical to have to worry about charging the battery, and hitting the thing is not really stealthy unless you hide it in something.

IMO a log vape like the UD or the HI with a car adapter rigged with a whip attached to the stem is a much better vape for being on the go. It's not obvious when you take a hit, it's easy to hide, and it's always ready. The big draw back of course is that you have to be in your car, so if you need something you can carry around it wouldn't work. In which cases the battery operated like mflb and solo are the way to go, but in my experience the batter ends up dying and you're just carrying around a vape that doesn't work.

I suppose that route would be better than any attempt to hide it. In my experience, nothing in a cup or can produces large clouds of vapor when drank . I probably wouldn't try it on a plane like an e-cig though haha.

Thanks, Space. That is a good suggestion, albeit a little ot. However, I already ordered the Solo and don't plan on getting another vape unless--god forbid--something happens to it.

Which is why i find the LB the ultimate stealth and so far there is not one vape that compares in that department. You can hide it in your hand cause of its size, and you can produce small vapor not to be seen.

Although i believe that you can adapt your vaping style to a more stealthy way.. i can pull huge clouds in an LB, not comparing to the Solo right now. What i mean is, you can use an LB or a Solo or any other vaporizer in a way where you take small hits and exhale an amount of vapor that is almost invisible to another person, or you can do that and blow a huge cloud, visible to anyone.

Being stealthy is not about what vaporizer you use, it is about how you use it as well. I modify my technique when i am at home or when i am outside.

While he does say he'd like to use in any situation, it obviously isn't a stealth portable, and his post is asking about the Solo only, so while suggesting another, more stealthy vape may have value, I don't agree that any log vape offers better portability than a vape that operates on a battery.

Basically, the OP is asking how to maximize use and stealth for a vape he's ordered, and your advice is to buy a different model. So, yes, it's off topic.

Yeah I didn'tread the op carefully enough. I thought he was just considering buying the solo, didn't see where he had already ordered it. My bad.

I've been known to read an OP too quickly myself at times. I now try to make myself slow down and get the whole picture. I'm also kind of on a crusade to get members to give appropriate responses in Ask FC, thus my picking on your post. I see way too many people ignoring the OP's criteria at times, and just recommending their favorite.
