easy vape to launch box - it all combusts :(

I bought an easy vape and it combusted. I'd heard the high was a 9 out of 10. But after buying and using it, I really don't like how focussed I have to be to use it (without fucking combusting). So, I just bought a mflb off ebay and have only recently been privvy to the info that it'll combust if I'm not 'careful with it'.

Why can't I get a vape that I can pull like a bong and not have to be delicate with, that gives me an awesome high and tastes good? Is that really too much to ask?

I'd get a friggin' volcano if I ever win the lottery, why those things are so disgustingly expensive I don't think I'll ever know.

So you'are to lazy for the learning curve and to be carefull with your stuff... too lazy to take a look around too i guess :rolleyes: You should get a log vape, or an epic vape.: like zero learning curve. But honestly the mlfb is a great vape and the learning curve isn't that bad. There is a lot of good vape around here , you'll have to practice a little but it really worth it.

I've looked around on youtube and on vapecritic.com and marijuana forums so, wasn't to(o) lazy for that I guess. mflb was 2nd after the 'volcano' (let's all bow down to the disgustingly expensive volcano) on vapecritic. Also saw a lot of positive stuff for the easy vape on youtube, but mine catches on fire far too easily. I like beer with my stuff, so I don't like having to put in effort - being careful with it etc. Just posted to see if any of you experts know of 'that' perfect vape for me to make sweet love to at night.

get an arizer solo...from my experience it has almost no learning curve and with the GonG connection you can get smooth milky vapor trough a nice glass piece...just my :2c:

Welcome to FC.

There are so many vapes that could be rated above the Volcano or between the MFLB & Volcane, depending on what your criteria are.

You sound like a Solo guy to me, but I suggest you check out some of the models in the more popular threads in our Vaporizer Discussion section, not a place where this thread belongs btw. You should have posted that in 'Ask FC' since I we don't have a 'rants & raves" section. Perhaps it's a good idea to have a look at the rules as well if you haven't already done so :tup:

Get a log vape for home and a thermovape as a portable. I've been unable to combust in mine despite more or less trying to in the name of science.

With what, the Thermovape? Yeah, I agree. It's not impossible, but it's pretty hard. Much harder to combust than the LB IMO

I am yet to combust in the TV. I'd need 2 sets of batteries based on how I hit it IMO. Even then I'm not sure I could.

Also with log vapes you shouldn't be able to combust at 12v.

Typcically, while a log vape won't combust, there's still a learning curve as far as draw speed and packing the bowl to get the most from it.

The OP sounds like he doesn't want to deal with any of that shit but just wants to hit it any way he wants and have it work. For that, the very BEST option is a bag vape and since he doesn't want to spend the bucks for a Volcano, I'd suggest either the Extreme or the HerbalAir with the nod going to the Herbie being that you don't even have to grind your bud to use it.

IDK about the other logs but with my UD I can draw slow or fast and get good results :)

Packing it too tight can cause problems, but other than that I can pack it loose or tight and it still vapes as well.

I also enjoyed my HA for the brief time I had it.

lwien are you still using the PD or have you tried any of the newer log vapes out?

I'd LOVE to try out the others, but I'm on a fixed income (social security), and being that the PD is still chugging along and doing as well as when I first got her over 3 years ago (after adding a second ring to tighten up the loose heat port along with repairing the transformer plug), I just can't justify spending the bucks on another vape.

I may have to mail it out for a try sometime when I have the extra shipping money. I believe the PD power cable works with it as well. Having and underdog and a twig might make that possible.

Oups , sorry if i sounded rude, lazy is not a bad way at all for me. As i'm lazy too , it was just a "i know how you feel" smiley !I recommend vaporpedia for us!

I had problems with my LB. Just remember, each trench is only worth 2 - 3 hits. If you do more you'll burn your throat and risk combusting. you can't see very much vapor with the lb usually. Parts of the abv will be green still and this is normal. I sent my LB back for a replacement because it combusted many times you should do the same and try over again.

Just got my lb today. I'm using stuff that's already been vaped by the easy vape. Brown crumbs, so to speak. It works fine. It cooks at exactly 380f apparently. The batteries need constant recharging. When not recharging, put the black rubber plugs on them so the 'male' doesn't leak. Now I've got to get rid of my easyvape somehow. Also what I've already vaped from the lb, I can burn in my bong.

False. MFLB provides much more hits than 2-3. More like 25. You are just running it too hot. I know, it's hard to get cold with batteries, but with faster shorter pulls you can achiueve it. Also with PA you can dial cold adn get these hits safely without worrying about charring. Only true thing about that is that you can't combust at first 2-3 hits because the load is wet and potent so water and goodies get more heat than plant matter.

It's not normal, you are using it wrong. Same as the first reaction, needs more shorter pulls.

It's possible that your unit is running too hot. If it comusts everytime no matter how short/fast your draw was...

This is the VapeXhale Cloud. It's not portable (you were talking mostly about portables so I'm assuming you want portable, but Volcano is neither portable). But it is pricey (450$) and you have to wait months after preordering to get it.

If it doesn't have to be a portable the UD fits that description as well as the Vapocane, and I suspect the HI does too. Actually the SSV and the DBV fit that description also when I think of it, and many more probably.

It seems you're just not that well informed OP. I know it is a lot of info to take in when you first start looking around in the world of vaporizers, but all the information you need is right here on this website, all you have to do is use it to your advantage.

Thanks "ohtheagony". I'll take that into consideration. I'm sort of learning by ebay purchasing - trial and error. the batteries wear out quite quick. I've only used stuff that has already been vaped (waiting on payday to get something interesting).

That's fun too of course, but I think that's the expensive way ;)

Just don't buy every <100$ vape you'll find. The launch box seems to make a lot of customers happy so it was still a reasonably safe choice even though heavy bong rips aren't really it's strong suit, but there's a lot of junk out there too.

It isn't that hard to find something you will like a lot from the moment it arrives if you just do your research, you got some good pointers here in this thread already where to start looking :tup:
