Hey everyone!

My girlfriend wants her own vape and i need help picking one out!

Price Range: $100-$250
It needs to be discrete, portable, rechargable, effective, and durable.
She's not liking the idea of butane gas and rather have something that charges like my Solo, yet doesn't want the solo.

I came across a couple different brands but i am unsure if there are more out there then what i can find or not.

Here are the ones i found.

Atmos Raw Vaporizer - I heard it just combusts the herb which is just a waste and not even a vape.
Vaporblunt - not very discrete
MFLB - I recommended this even though i haven't tried it.
Vapir Mini Oxygen 4.0 - looks like it's a good product

Any other ones i may have missed or can help us choose one for her would be great!

I'd say the Thermovape fits that bill perfectly.

It's right up there with the solo in quality manufacturing but much stealthier & smaller.

Battery charge is not super long, but that is due to the energy required to create a mostly convective vaporization of just herbs, something that is really unique for a portable. (the solo for example has a lot more conduction heating involved)

Heard that too. So a person should stay away from this.
MFLB - I recommended this even though i haven't tried it.
This is a great vape, it fits all needs you wrote down. Yet it need really slow pull to work properly.
Vapir Mini Oxygen 4.0 - looks like it's a good product
This was my first vape. From the looks and description it looked ok. It actually works, but is really weak and not durable at all. Smell like plastic. In my experience the smell gets back after few uses. IMO there are way better vapes for this price. MFLB being one of them. And it is not even portable as you want. Needs big heavy battery set (with it it is costs even more) that last for 2 loads.

Atmos Raw is very bad news so definitely stay away from that one - not only does it combust, but if you use the glass screen the mfr reccomends you don't get anything and the rubber power button seems to only last a couple of months at best.

The VaporBlunt is very large from the reviews I've read and certainly not stealth. Also, many reviews stated a plastic off gas taste and odor.

MFLB is a great stealthy vape, but requires time to get your technique perfect. The hits are generally very light and for me just gives me a slight buzz.

I don't have any experience with the Vapir so I can't comment.

I'd definitely reccomend the Thermovape t1. It's a great stealthy portable, but as stated before battery life is disappointing. You receive 6 batterys in the kit and the t1 requires 2. Those two batteries will only last about a bowls worth. Also check out the videos on youtube, it can be run over by a car, dropped in water, and fetched by a dog and will still vape fine afterwards.

Another vape you should consider is the new Davinci. I don't have any experience with one, but from what I've read there are many that seem to like it so far. It looks similar to a small transistor radio or 2 way radio. It has a temp display and rechargable lion battery.

One last suggestion, The Palm by vaporblunt. I'm not sure how soon you are trying to purchase the vape as this one is set to be released on June 1st. This vape is similar in design to the MFLB, but has a removable screen bowl and looks quite different from the MFLB.

Good luck in your search and let us know what you decide.

I have a MFLB and I definitely recommend it. Of course it doesnt do everything. and each type of vape has its place in many collections, but its high quality and inexpensive for that high quality item. They have a great warranty as well(not like they are the only vape manufacturer that offers a high level of customer service though). I am about to buy a Gn0me vaporizer, which is a all glass, lighter based portable vaporizer. There is also a GonG version, which you can then buy a separate adapter for to attach to water pipes. I read the entire thread and talked about it with a few people on this site and everyone loves it. All you need is a proper jet lighter/torch flame. The classic(non-GonG) Gn0me vaporizer is a little smaller and takes a little less time to heat up, its also lower in price, so that may be the option if you are looking for just a portable. Good luck in picking out the right vape for her! You ahve definitely come to the right site for advice

vapor genie with a torch lighter is pretty good. As for the MFLB, I just took a bunch a mini hits that snowballed into a bigger hit. Numerous quick 2-3 second drags. Can't go wrong with the Launch Box

I believe he was referring to something like the Iolite. With the Gn0me(and maybe one or two other flame powered vapes) the flame and gas is no where near the air path or anything, so it is entirely separated from the herb and internal chambers and parts. Plus theres no nasty plastic or anything of that sort. He said nothing about her opinion of a vape that is flame/torch powered, though I can see how its not exactly the stealthiest, he mentioned stealth nowhere in his post

I would say the MBLF or the thermovape if you can afford the difference! I love my TV and it's my go to portable.

Vaping always produce smell specific for vapes. Some vapes leak and that add boosts that smell because it lacks processing through lungs. Some vapes have their own smell when heated (like the Oxygen) and that is unwanted, you want to inhale and taste your herbs, not your vape.

MFLB doesn't leak if you're sipping from it. It can leak from heating without sipping for some seconds. Windy conditions make this a bit worse. In wind I don't wait to see vapor forming, i sip immediately so it doesn't leak. It's not a glass vape, it has it'S own smell that is a bit woody. When it gets older it can taste resinous.

when you need to be stealth take smaller sips so that you do not release a big cloud! :) ideally you want to see no vapor coming out when you exhale (if you wanna be sneaky)

The MF is great for micro hits, which keeps the odor down. Just make sure you clean the box at intervals, otherwise it'll smell from previous use.

lol, shiiit. My family can tell straight up when I am vaping with the mflb. They say it smells like popcorn. So in the movies I guess smelling like popcorn is natural there lol.
