Awesome awesome awesome! Thanks!

I bought an Ion Matrix Bubbler a few weeks back from my LHS. I've never hit anything like it. After using it I HAD to get a Stereo Tube.

Does anyone else vape through warm/hot water?
One of my favorite things to do is get my bub nice and clean then rinse with hot water so the glass is nice and warm. I fill the chamber with warm water and let the SSV do its thing. I could be crazy but the flavor seems to be a bit intensified and the warm vapor is very soothing on the lungs.

I'm not sure how this would work for the Cloud though...
Vaping through warm water is pleasant but can have negative side effects like fungal and bacterial infections. Happened to me and doc suggested I vape with room temperature or colder water to avoid infection.

It's weird, I can't see water coming out, or I can't make it come out. But in the morning the table was wet right under the tube. I am going to keep an eye on it before I sent it back. I just cleaned it up, and I really like it now - flaws and all!

Anyone else have this type of experience with the hydracirc?

sm said that some of the slits were cut incorrectly. I lay my vertigo on its side on a thick sock with upper end elevated. I have to talk about the efficiency of this vape. I am on day 25(almost out) of a half oz. I have been staying supremely medicated at all times. I even have had some mild visuals. I think that this vape will pay for itself in three months in medicine savings. One month down two to go.

Did you have the water sit in the water pipe for an extended amount of time? Was the tube cleaned regularly?

I would guess that if one kept the tube clean regularly, such as the water pipe being cleaned before each use, there would be almost no risk of any infection. The only place that I could see that could potentially contaminate the water would be one's own saliva, and even then it would only be a problem if one didn't clean the bong after each use (which is disgusting ).

I'll check it out tonite. I normally empty out my circ at the end of the session.

I just found a 14 to 18 adapter in my pile of glass. So, I have been testing the Cloud with the Mobius Nano and the Philpot. Now we're having fun! Not getting a lot done this weekend, but having fun not doing it :)

Affirmative Aero18, you know me -- cleanliness is next to Godliness! Posted about hot water experience on FC last year. We're all different and it may be my system but no lung infections since I switched too cool water.

Did anyone else Pre-order the vertigo package in November 2010, and still haven't received an order email yet?

Sent an email to support already and all they told me was "if you had received a confirmation on signup, then you are on our list"...totally feel like i was skipped :/

wow I would not worry if you got your confirmation email.I did not get a confirmation email and I emailed sm and he said "your on the list". I know it is hard especially when you read some of these posts, but I am sure you will get yours soon and join us in the clouds:)

ok, if i don't want the hydracirc i can still choose the sgw or is that done too? too many qc issues with the in house hydracircs.

tstat, thx for your honest review, well done. and bummer about the paint scuffs. you know vxl will take care of it and are reading here and making sure it won't happen to other cloud customers.

Thanks to everyone so far that have posted reviews, pic's and video's of their new Clouds! Have been lurking on here for a looong time and have followed this thread (well, actually the first thread) since I pre-ordered my cloud in May of '11.

Originally ordered the gridded tree, but knew I had next to no chance of getting one. Looks like they "may" be getting close to my ordering date soon, since someone from Feb. '11 got their email...and from what I see so far, even with the few HydraCirc's that have been less that perfect, I think I'll grab one of those.

Will post up as soon as I get my email from the VX team...

I had emailed Bryan at vxc again letting him know I saw posts of people who had ordered the same package after me and to confirm i was actually on the said list.

Lucky for me, he responded very quickly saying "We haven't made it through today's list yet, but you are on it! here's your link" and I got to order! Sweet! So it appears that they are in fact still getting through some of the 2010 orders!

currently, it seems that there are only two ht's available - the vertigo, and the inhouse hyrdracirc.

edit, sorry i still can't figure out how to quote two people in one message...

That just happened...
I got my email to register on friday morning. I registered a few hours later. So it's Sunday evening and I still haven't gotten my email back confirming registration. Is this unusual?

Don't think so. I registered and waited 5 minutes. Then registered again and at first the email didn't come through but the login creds I set worked, then I noticed it was in my inbox.

I will look into this for you and send you an email with instructions, if needed.

Troi,
awesome, i thought it was too late to change to a vertigo

I too jumped the gun ordered a hydrcrc. Why did you change, should I change? I just placed my order tonight. The vertigo looks more study to stand up but I know it has less surface area, but the quality of HydraCirc isn't too big of a deal breaker IMO unless it leaks into the unit when I forget to take it off. What's your take on the tubes, and what made you switch; the quality issues? The vertigo does have the receased joint now correct? Does the difference in diameter detract from the over durability of the vertigo compared to the hydratube.

Who do I contact on the team to make the change? If I decide within the next corresponding 24 hours.

What about backup glasses? I mean you should also sell cheap solutions that can be used in case that the main glass breaks or so... that is my only big concern...

I'm assuming your talking about the hydratube here?

The cloud will work with almost any 18mm piece, and I believe VX are planning on releasing seperate tubes/clouds at a later date once all of the pre-orders are complete.

^^^ yep HT

Well I can't get any 18mm in my country so I need to relay on something that perhaps vapexhale can provide...a cheap solution in case something wrong is essential.
If you can refer me to a place where they can deliver internationally I will be glad :)

One more subject, what about a silicone cover for the tube? something like the glass tuff bowl for EQ - I mean perhaps this could be a great solutions for people like me

What country are you in?
Most places ship internationally IME. (I'm in australia, I've only bought 1 or 2 vape related items here, almost all of it has come from overseas)

IMO, A silicone cover for the hydra-tube would do next-to-nothing.

For a small thing like the EQ bowl, It will absorb some of the shock and might prevent breakage, but for something as big/heavy as a hydra tube, I would think the silicone would need to be unpractically thick to offer any reasonable level of protection.

Honestly, I only ever saw the silicone covering as heat protection for my fingers...
