Has anyone experienced their cloud not getting as hot as it did when brand new?

It seams that it is occurring with mine

over the last several days it seams i am not getting as thick of hits and the abv is not as dark...

I think i am going to continue using it for a few more days and see if its not just me being wierd and then possibly make a trouble ticket

If anyone else has had this issue tho your 2 cents would be appreciated

Happy clouds for a vapier(sic) tomorrow today

See my above post. I almost gurantee it is the bowls, give them a good iso wash. It maks a world of diffrence. Id suggest everyone picks jp an extra pack or two of bowls. A clean bowl, is a well working vxc. I almost forgot how ell the vxc works at its best till I started with clean bowls yesterday.

@lepstadder -- As Krazy stated above, regular ez bowl washing ensures your experience is as designed. The more regular cleaning the easier it is to maintain that day 1 clean. the more you let the residue build up the harder it is to remove, and harder to return hem to day 1 condition. I clean my ez bowls in iso once every 3 days, with a funnel, one can also extend the life of 2.95$ bottle of 97% iso for a long time.

After an ISO wash if you feel your unit is not working as it did day one, please submit a support ticket and we will get this resolved.

Possibly any Cloud owners in the Denver area willing to let me try this beast out? I put my name on the preorder list last month, so I know I will probably have a nice long wait time, lol.

I must admit that my cloud seemed hotter the first night. the enclosure got almost too hot to hold. Maybe that was because I was experimenting with temp settings. IDK Since I still get big clouds and very high even at 9 and 10 I am not worried yet. My abv looks and feels cashed. My :2c:

This funnel cleaning technique sounds interesting. Do you just stack the EZ bowl in the funnel and pour iso through it? I'm having difficulty actually imagining it but it sounds like a smart idea for saving on ISO.

I just unboxed my Cloud and the HydraCirc looks beautiful! I turned it up to max heat to burn off any dust or factory residue, and there's quite a toxic smell coming off of the unit. It isn't alarmingly strong, but I wouldn't want to use it at this point. Does anyone know how long it takes for that to go away? I'm assuming this is just normal factory grease or something.

hmm, ya I guess I'll do that. Also, I'm pretty sure the auto-shutoff just kicked in, but it doesn't seem to actually be shutting off. It just flashes red twice then green three times, I watched it do this cycle for a few minutes then just shut it off. Does it take forever to actually shut off or is something wrong?

The lights blinking lets you know that the unit has auto shutoff the heater. The lights will continue to blink until you turn it off the power switch.

After you soak the ez bowls you can pour the used iso back into the canister, using a funnel, if you want to try to keep the iso as clean as possible you can use a ccoffe filter also.

Let me know if that cleared it up! Thanks

Hey all,

Can anyone with the in-house glass blower's work post a picture of where they have their water level at. I just tried filling mine up and it leaks like crazy!!!! This is my first circ, so I just want to eliminate potential user error before bothering the VXC guys with another warranty issue.

PS. Canadians can expect ~$40 stolen by the lovely folks at UPS. On top of the original shipping charges...Not the fault of VXC, just an observation.

Even without water this is hands down the best vape I could ever imagine. I am pinching myself making sure this is really happening.

apparently some of the circs got cut a little too deep when making the slits( I assume this means they accidentally ground into the base of the tube under the showerdome piece. is this what might have happened to you too ioright? :(

sorry to hear it. and also sucks to hear about ups but i totally see it coming, and figure if they are gonna fuck me ill pay for the more expensive shipping anyways and get it faster at least. how much is the shipping? 20-40 bucks? so if im gonna pay antoher 40 on top of that. why not pay 40-60 on shippign to begin with? haha at least the wait will be shorter!

here is a great pic for reference of what im talking about (minus the damaged part of course)

The smell in mine is almost gone now from heating it up and blowing through the path while the unit is on. I'm confident it's no problem now and am loving my cloud!

I wonder if it might be a good idea to advise Cloud users, new and old, to check the glass air path for any debris, and blow through it, before turning on the unit. Let's face it, we live in a world with un-clean air, and dust particles, animal hair, etc can make it's way around pretty well. I wouldn't be surprised if something small from the packaging, or from the air may have got in the air path and caused a smell when stephenkings Cloud was turned on. Just a thought, could be wrong though :ko:
