I figure the one with 6 percs is better than one with less than 6; so what's the 14 vs 19 in reference to? What are the pros and cons?

Also, I used to have one of the glycerin coolers but I found it was a little bulky and I didn't like it that much. Another thing was that the hose fell out of the bottom easy so holding it was a bit awkward. Do you think I'd have similar problems using this?

14/19 refers to the size of the ground glass joints (14mm or 18.8mm). Unless you've already got equipment in either size that you want to use it with there's not all that much difference IMO. (well, 5mm difference lol)

The hose wont fall out- it comes with a ground glass connector that fits firmly in the end of the hose and drops onto the top of the 'water filter' piece.

If you would like to see a video of the 14mm 6-arm in action, I posted a video in the SSV thread not too long ago that features it.
Considering you get a j-hook, water-pipe adapter and a keck clip along with it, I think they are pretty good value.

You do? So if I order the piece for 64.99 on the site now I don't need to order the adapters and other pieces alone with it?

Here's a pic of what you should get:

And here's one of everything set up.

It's pretty small, and I would certainly recommend having something slightly bigger as well.
But considering you get
J-Hook - $16
Water Pipe Adapter - $11
Keck Clip - $2
Tubing - $5.50

That means you are only paying approx $30 for the 6-Arm chamber.
And it can be used as an ash catcher/2nd chamber if you do have/get another piece.

How satisfying would you say it is to use on its own? I'm not likely to get a bong anytime too too soon.

It works fine on its own, and it's a big step up from just the mouthpiece...
One thing to note though is that since its so small, it doesn't stand up properly with the j-hook attached like in the above pic.
But you can just turn the j-hook a bit an find a sweet spot where it'll stand fine.

Got it. I think everyone should have one; really, really good piece. The only annoying part is how it doesn't stand but turning the J-hook in addition to having the top on helps.
