Order #260 and SN #0390. I have just received my cloud yesterday on 4/5.

I have been playing around with it a lot, hoping that maybe I am at fault here. But I have come to the conclusion something must be wrong with my device. It is definitely working, but for one the clicking noise never turns off. Even after it has turned green and reached the temperature, it continues to click. This isn't a big issue, as I do not care much about the noise.

The big issue is I think my cloud is not heating properly or something, it just isn't producing very big clouds at any temperature, and only mediocore clouds at best at the very highest temperature. I was very excited for this vape, and still have hope, but am hoping that mine is faulty.

Just registered for warranty on the vapexhale site, will make a support ticket there as soon as I get my email of confirmation.

Dang, I keep my Vertigo in a large beer mug with foam around it. After a few days of heavy use it was soaked.

EDIT: The water level is just above the slits.

I just sent in a support ticket. At least the HT still works :-)

Unless the HT is standing up perfectly straight in your beer mug, the water will leak out. The way percs work, if the tube is leaning the water will come out. If it doesn't leak when it's on top of the cloud, it's not a faulty piece of glass.

I entered all information on support page, hit enter, and page goes to change and stays blank. Turned off a ad/popup blockers prior. Is that normal? Using firefox if matters.

Edit: Also tryed internet exlorer with same results, it takes me away from support page to a blank page, like its trying to load but can't. I hope I did not flood your support with a few extra emails. My apologies if so.


I'm also using firefox and I had the same issue.

Introduced a smoker to the cloud tonight, absolutely loved it.

The clicking noise continues. It's the electrical device providing continuous control of the heat.

What is your ABV like?

All due respect I think you're leaving yourself open to contaminants. I see no upside to leaving water in a tube. Bong water is nasty stuff that can breed bacteria, algae, and fungi. But each to his own. :2c: :peace:
agreed. I recently noticed something growing in a tube that had water in it for about a week, which I had never done before! Gross and awful, potentially, for lungs and health in general.

Immediately cleaned with ISO and salt. Fresh water daily. Treat water pipes like water glasses you drink from.

Aside.....I am getting extremely impatient for my cloud.....pre-order about March 2011.....come on guys!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still rather nervous, I've seen people with registration dates a year after mine receiving their pre-order and now there's talk about how there's no more SG tubes. I pre-ordered an SG tube back in 2010 and even originally paid cash for one when the first attempt at sales happened. I'll be crushed if I miss out on the SG piece. :(

So, mine is coming next Friday. I do have to say that I am a little concerned with the ticking/leaking/ breaking glass/airpath pushing down/not getting hot/screws too hot - posts that have popped up in the last few days. I am not trying to be negative at all, but a LONG time ago I suggested that the first run (v1.0) of anything always has problems. I also realize that once dozens of units are out there, people will always have things to complain about in a vaporizer. So I really don't know what to think at this point. I'll just have to wait and judge for myself.

As has been said on this board many times, there is no perfect vaporizer. I started thinking maybe this was the one, and it may very well be - but these problems are alarming. I want a Cloud that has no issues, and I also don't want SM and his guys failing due to so many people returning them for repair, replacement, or refund.

Ennui, as far as anyone knows. all the Sov hydratubes have been spoken for. I haven't seen one mentioned in the last month really, only the first few weeks of clouds being sent out (starting in late february) saw people talking about receiving a Sov hydratube.

Dude, you're not the only one who ordered one and won't get it. Realize that they are in the vape business and not glass artists. You may be dissappointed but, really, it's gonna be ok. Buy another nice piece of glass on your own and enjoy it in many ways.



Hoping for clear sailing with the QC issues!!!!! Good luck SM and VXH crew!!!!

Perhaps you're cannabis isn't potent enough for vaporization?

The first herb I used on the VXC left me disappointed, to say the least. I thought the unit was defective, over hyped, etc.

But then I decided to go get a real sack of medical flower tops. That changed my whole outlook on the VXC. It is truly an entirely different way of vaporizing. Even vape throughout, smooth at any temperature, and the ease of use is ahead of any other vaporizer on the market, IMO.

No, 'dude', the problem here isn't me nor is it my disappointment. An expectation was set by a business and if it will not be met I am allowed to express my disappointment about it. I am sorry this apparently distressses you enough to comment like that. I'll be waiting until I hear back from VXC about it and either way that'll be that.

My understanding is that they only had a limited amt and some were broken on delivery. sm said all the office staff gave up theirs so as many people possible could get them. they did not have an unlimited supply and took more orders than they had tubes because they hoped they could but the artist ended the relationship.:2c:

Aww that's really unfortunate to hear about the breakages, SG's pieces are always art. I knew they had a limited run and I was fairly early getting an order in, so I thought I was covered. Good to hear they tried to make it right with some.

EDIT: Just wanted to say thanks for the clarification, Jack. To make it clear, I simply didn't know they overcommitted on presales and I guess I can accept that.

Ennui Cookout -- It sounds like you have submitted a support inquiry or sent us an email? Either way I will look into this, I have personally been following the pre-order list and we have been inviting in the order in which the person registered.

If you have been missed; surely we will get you your invite.

As for the SG tubes, Everyone who ordered an SG Tube except for the first five people did not receive SG tubes. This was due to the fact that a large set of these tubes were destroyed in transit, and we received less tubes then we originally expected to receive.

Currently SG and VXL have no current commitments for more tubes. I am sorry for your disappointment; If we get a future shot at more SG tubes we will be letting those who missed out know first.

I can assure you that the VXL team is dedicated to our customers and we are working round the clock to build this company around those who support it.
