We finally got you guys! What a great team the Blues are, I hope we don't see you guys until late in the playoffs
Coyotes can clinch the division for the first time in team history with one more win!
oh man what a terrible loss for us. we are finally 100% healthy and it seems to be hurting us more than helping...?
good win for you guys, but damn we were out of sync last night. we got columbus tonight and thats it for the season. playoffs start on Wed. but until after the games are done tonight the 1st round matchups wont be determined. ill post the matchups or bracket after the games are done.
my squad needs to shake off these last few games and just keep moving forward.

Nucks > Kings in 6
Blues > Sharks in 5 (we have the sharks # this year and their goalies are average at best)
Yotes > Hawks in 7 (going to be very tough, but im pulling for you guys)
Preds > Wings in 7
Rangers > Sens in 5
Bruins > Caps in 4
Devils > Panthers in 6 (probably the most even matchup in the 1st round, but over in 6)
Pens > Flyers in 5 (pens are probably the scariest team right now IMO)

Absolutely a nhl fan. Sad the colorado avalanche got bounced from the playoffs. Landeskog had an amazing rookie season though.

i was watching that game on Center Ice. crazy stuff.
landeskog looks to be a very good player. will be interesting to see how he performs in his sophomore season.
Blues tie it up last night with a 3-0 shutout. Halak was taken out of the game after he was in a collision with Jackman. normally i would be shitting bricks, but we have arguably the best goalie in the league (this season) in our backup Brian Elliott. so im not too worried as Elliott seems more than capable of putting together an amazing playoff run. not sure what the word on Halak is yet, but im sure he will be back before too long.
sharks coach was whining about cheap shots in last nights game... laughable. what about the obvious elbow to the head of MacDonald by that doosher Burns...? if Shanny does not suspend him AT LEAST 1 game then ive lost all respect for Shanny. the Sharks were getting frustrated last night and it really showed. they cannot handle the physicality that the Blues bring. we are just too big and skilled for them to handle. oh and Hitchcocks amazing system in place doesnt hurt either.
im sticking with my original prediction. Blues in 5.

What, my wild didn't make playoffs... Shit. I'm so glad playoffs are here... Real hockey. Wild(a.k.a zombies on ice) just killed my ambition for hockey this year, which never happens. Blues and Phoenix are my kind of teams(Blue collar). Best of luck to them. It would be nice to see someone other than the standard powerhouses in the Cup. But in the end, some good hockey is all I need, enough with the super cheap shit though.

Teams like Phoenix and Vancouver make me sick to my stomach. First Smith’s award winning acting performance and now Torres...I'm right there with you chucku, that hit was right in front of the officials and he didn't get so much as a minor for that. Crawford and Smith looked like they really wanted to throw down, tomorrow night is going to be great. Nothing better than Blackhawk hockey.

but for real... that Torres hit was absolutely what the league does not need. that doosher should be banned. he is a repeat offender and is just out there hurting people. Shanny and the baffoons who run the NHL are the real problem. this is easily the WORST run professional league on the planet. so inconsistent.
watching Van @ LA right now. wouldnt mind seeing the Nucks bounced from the first round. then again facing the Kings right now wouldnt be a treat either. that is if the Blues make it out of the first round... spoiler alert... they will.

What a vicious 1st round so far, I hate to see players get hurt but man the team that wins the cup will have most definitely earned it.
I don't see how the Flyers are going to go much further without some solid goaltending.....The Blues have looked sharp since game 2 and Elliot is a beast.....Fucking Turris......Luongo's days in Canuck land must be numbered....Fucking Torres...The Predators could be sleepers....
