Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

THCS will you offer a combi-Pak? Also my question remained disregarded on another thread can someone please answer.

What is the relationship between gram of oil and cart ohm? Please explain the bold statement? Also what does it mean in regards to a 3 or 4 ohm cart (whats the minimum amount of oil to work properly?)?
Big long hit... The longer you hold the button, the hotter it gets, the more prone to leaks and cloggs. I go with it(7.4v w/4's and 5's is pretty equivalent to 6v w/3's & 4's) and take about 3 4-5 sec pushes w/ a couple secs in between. Some carts leak and clog on me, some don't, I push em pretty hard though. As for cart life, I don't know, I haven't killed any since we figured out you have to be careful with fresh 18350's. I guess theoretical, a 4 would last longer than a 3 because 3's run hotter(or just get hotter quicker), but also oil quality has a big affect on how long a cart will last(contaminates or excess residuals will build up over time). The relationship between the G and cart is that all carts can take up to a G, as with they all need at least .3 to work, .5 is better, .8/9 is what I keep mine at. The lower the ohm, the thicker the vape, the more your burning at one time. With that said, don't expect to get 400 hits @ 3/4 ohms, more like 50 to 125 +/- depending on you. I've measured .02 rips before, so that's where I get 50.
I think that does it. Most of this you could find in a search, I'm happy to help(if I was any), but searching keeps the thread less cluttered.
Hope I helped.

PERGO?

Current names for the LCD Persei.

Titan by Limosnero
Eve by slideordie
Hyperion by Sinclue
Kratos by The_Reckoning
Chaos by Thc Scientific ( I like Chaos cuz its cool name )

Ohhhh. I noobed. I thought that was the o-phos being renamed. Not an LCD Persei.

I still stick to Aurora, ThreeV (VVV), and now Ion and Aether. and the girlfriend wants to try the names Tetris and Hibernia.

Wed love to have one of these LCD units. So we have to try our best and lots of names.

Thank you very much for the kind words. Positive feedback always makes us feel good.

It is true, for all our Omicron, Omicron v2, Persei and soon to be released O-PHOS fans, we now have available by popular request the pick your own Combi-Pak of cartridges.
Choose any ohm cartridges you want, in the quantity you want at the 5 pack value price. You can create your own custom 5 pack, for example you can choose three 1.5 ohm and two 4.0 ohm cartridges or four 2.4 ohm and one 1.5 ohm etc.
Visit our Combi-Pak page to find out more.
Peace and Love,
P.V.

You're welcome, of course, but you earned every bit of it near as I can tell. I remember the early days when units were hard to come by the efforts you expended which were clearly not profit driven.

And as if I needed any more proof to back up my case, look at this combo pack deal? From random musing of 'somebody shoulda...' to you getting the word and making it happen all in one nap for me? How cool is that? We're blessed with many very supportive dealers in this industry it seems, but you stand out amongst them IMO. And has been noted I'm not all that shy about sharing my opinions good, bad or indifferent. And I'm happy to stand by them.

Thanks for what you do for us, please continue.

Well said, I will be ordering a Combi-Pak, as soon as I can decide which carts I want to order. I'm leaning towards 2x1.5 , 2x5, and 1x4. Too many possibilities. May have to get 2 Combi-Paks, just to be safe. Can never have too many carts, in my experience.

Thanks for that informative post, I think I am going to go with 3 ohm carts but now I am wondering do you always have to keep your carts loaded at above .9 or do you mean you prefer to load it almost full intially and use it until vapor production is lost (til all the oil is drain or til like .5 or something)? I am sorry I have taken a few dabs and currently puffing my Rev so I will apologize in advance if my statements do not make sense. Either way Peace and Pot everyone :D

ok guys you asked for it, you got it, we still need to do improvements on it, but its shaping up nicely.

This little puppy is gonna get some nice features if we can figure out something. Still not done but its gonna be soon.

Been redone so many times and every time we come up with new features we want to add, so its going back into the drawing board and next week new prototyping starts. Sorry guys but we need to add more features to it to stay ahead.

You know, this is really funny to me to read this. When I saw the web site my reaction after 'cool' was 'wow, so many choices....'. Same I guess as you? I was thinking what would be fun is some recommended lists. Maybe a little matrix with models down the side and 'new user', 'normal', 'power user' and so on across the top with recommended lists in the boxes? So, for instance, the row for Omicron V2 might be all 2.4s, 2.4s with one or two 1.5s and all 1.5s with maybe one or two 2.4s respectively???

It would make getting a reasonable assortment almost automatic. You could of course modify it or ignore it outright. It's a mistake to make things too complex and cluttered, but IMO this might help a lot of guys out.

Seems like a good thought to me, and you did more than think about it some.

Why does it say Warp Nine Technologies instead of Delta 9 or THC Scientific?

Haha, I know the feeling. Gotta Catch 'Em All!

@OF that would be slick. (i.e. Persei 5 pack, 2x 5ohm, 2x 1.5ohm, 1x 4ohm) which is exactly what I think I'll be ordering. That way I'll have a good variety of heavy hitting carts, For the 3 different voltage combos. 3.7, 6, and 7.4w.

I love show and tell. Friends and family are amazed at these devices. Taking my toys out to Arizona for the weekend(Opening Day!) I'm sure @THC and co. will be receiving a few orders from Arizona after I do my rounds.

They're always coming up with names over there hahaha

But as sweet as this new chamber looks, I think it also looks more v2 sized than persei sized IMO. Compare it to the other one which I think is the correct Persei-diameter:

EDIT: Just noticed the threading on the larger chamber is the 510/e-cig size not the coarser omicron threading like the top pic. Maybe the bottom one isn't a THC product, just an e-cig accessory they were getting ideas from?

i always thought they would find a way to use the double top for the persei herb chamber, that heats up both sides with the bud in the middle so the heating elements don't touch the herb and you draw the hot air over it. something to that effect because the way atmos raw did their herb chamber/cart failed and combusts most of the time.

@Joekickass I thought i heard him saying their were 3 versions so I'm guessing a persei version a v2 version and a v1/ophos version.

Both are our products, we did a 510 thread on that to test other devices.

Hey, it seems like a natural to me. Ready advice from the experts, yours to take or ignore.

Good show on spreading the good word as well! Go for it.

From a different perspective 'they' (whoever they really are) keep changing their names......

OF,
It has come to our attention that some people think that the Persei unit is just a Silver bullet.

They might look the same but they are not in any way. the only thing that might look the same is the button, but then again it is not because the Persei has a led ring around the button.

The Silver Bullet can not be adjusted, does not have a led light, no pass through system coming, and no lifetime warranty.

Ok so The SB by Alt smoke costs

$84.99 Just only the shell, not battery, no charger, no led light, no lifetime warranty, and no cartridge.

Now add 1 x cartridge, 1 x battery, charger, and drip tip on altsmokes site you will get it to

$121.33

Now add the double top, when they had the double top it cost $89

So total now comes $211.00

No take that and also add the 2 x 18350 batteries, the led light capability, and the lifetime warranty, and it would cost more the $250.

Now take the Persei.

$199 + Tax and S&H

Single top
Double Top
1 x 18650 Trustfire
2 x 18350 Trustfire
1 x Charger
2 x Drip Tips
2 x Cartridges
1 x Fill Tool
Limited Lifetime warranty.

And we cost more? how the ef does that happen. So please help us educated people because wrong information is what we are against and this is the biggest one of them all.

Hey Clicker, check this. I remember(don't always do) we were talking about SB yesterday. THC's got some good points. $85 for a sleeve and button is a joke.
