Is the Cloud warranty transferable?

Also with respect to the 1hr timer, is there an audible tone or beep as well or does it just turn off? Without the audible I could see this as a very annoying feature to never know when it will turn off. Otherwise we're all gonna start using times with our Clouds just so we know when we have to flip the switch on an off.

Otherwise, I assume at ANY point in the one hour we just have to toggle the switch to reset the timer? If that's the case I hope those switches are decent because they will be getting much usage.
it flashes red and green
where the elb fits in the male gong joint. as far as resetting the timer i just turn if off than on and wait for green :)

...My first impression upon getting the box was whoever is doing the packaging needs a papercraft award. The Cloud arrived double boxed with bubble wrap between each layer, and finally when you get inside the second box each item is then individually wrapped in its own protective layer before more bubblewrap goes in. This isn't getting damaged in transit...
FUCK! My Hydra tube is broke! I was unwrapping everything like a kid on Christmas and after admiring the unit I carefully began unwrapping the tube and immediately knew something was wrong because I could hear glass rattling. Sure enough, the circ perc is not even attached to the top part of the tube...
Oh that hurts to read. UPS must've been so soft to the package (sarcasm). Really, how could they broke it. They played football with it?

So I was still super baked from my previous session, but I wanted to put up a vid, so this is 1/3 full @ almost noon on the dial. These two rips were plenty to get me back to baked :D

I really need a better camera.

EDIT: its an hour later and I just loaded up a full, loosely packed not tamped down bowl of the bud I hit at 9 and noon earlier, turned the dial to 3 for some high temp love before bed :) got a couple very nice rips, my eyelids are gettin heavy, fucking awesome.

SM thats some great service. (lol I need to stop reading these posts and getting excited and impatient when I ordered a few months back, til than I have my portables to keep me company.)

Also I was not sure but does VXC offer replacement parts for like the glass air path and such? Would be additional peace of mind knowing

I think that cat wanted a hit!

You know, it would be nice to get an idea of where they are in terms of pre-order. I mean if someone could just say " we are sending out pre-orders from 8/10 through 11/10 in the next 2 weeks" or something. It would help me plan for the cash and give everyone piece of mind. No?

It would be nice to know, but with them releasing the hounds VERY soon it's kind of a mute point.

SM55, I just wanted to thank you. I don't have my Cloud yet, but this feeling i've been having, this excitement and anticipation, especially after the flood of raving reviews, like there was any doubt. I haven't felt like this since I was a kid. And that's kinda awesome.

I want to purchase a 4 piece Space Case grinder, as it's probably a more consistent grind like SM55 suggested, so I think it would be ideal for the Cloud. do any of you know if there is a difference in hole size between the small and medium?

B. Nice Vid!! What tune was that?

If VXH sold this for $999, they'd sell a fair number. No doubt. Heck, I'd give in. I MUST have one.

Honestly, I view the pre-order price as exceptionally fair. Given what you get, the latest heat tech and glass too, it is easily worth equal to or more than a Volcano setup. Anyone looking at this in anticipation and NOT pre-ordering is making a mistake. With all this demand, and the margins of distribution, retail price is going to go up when its fully released... and they deserve every cent.

$599 retail for package with tube.... still sounds like an easy sale to me.

well I think(correct me if I'm wrong) that regardless of the quality, most of the people here cannot afford a 600$ vaporizer...
Not saying I wouldn't pay that price (perhaps if I can get a warranty for glass for lets say 100$ extra ,its worth it)

BTW : some of you talk about grinders...well I never use a grinder and I love the small scissors...I dunno why but I don't like it when small fractures stick to the grinder and from the scissors i can remove it easily...plus I'd never used a grinder for vaporizing without having to use the scissors as well...

I wanna see someone cache a bowl with one of these things. That herb chamber does not allow the herb to move around as you hit it like an Extreme vape. I would think you would have to disassemble 2-3 times to stir the bowl on larger packs?

This was discussed a couple few times in the preceding thread. There is turbulence in the airflow through the ELB. Additionally, the air pressure in the ELB is lowered. As a result there is high vaporization efficiency, and that at comparatively lowered temperatures, with even cooking throughout the herb. It appears that some users stir once but no more, others not even that. My Cloud is still too new to have a lot of experience with this as yet, but from what I've seen so far I suspect that if one fills the ELB and is using a fine grind and/or packed, then maybe one stir might be helpful to finish off a load. But with my 2/3 load medium-fine grind, hasn't been necessary. I have a Q, and this is one of the first things I immediately liked better about the Cloud - not having to stir like the Q requires.

@agentofchaos - Your replacement HT will be off in the mail tomorrow. Sorry AofC, hopefully you have some other glass pieces to use it with. Should get to you by Friday at the latest.

Thank you so much SM. You guys are an incredible company to deal with and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

Oh that hurts to read. UPS must've been so soft to the package (sarcasm). Really, how could they broke it. They played football with it?

What's really weird is my box and it's contents were packaged perfectly. Everything was bubble wrapped and nothing was loose. There was no visible damage at all to the HT and the section that broke apart is not shattered or even cracked. It looks like it just fell off.

B. Nice Vid!! What tune was that?

"El Gifto Magnifico" by The Gift of Gab. I chose that song because The Cloud sure is el gifto magnifico, he kills that verse, and as a lil whats up to SM55, a fellow hip hop head :)

Goddam did I sleep good last night.

To those of you waiting, keep obsessively refreshing that email. The Cloud is the real deal. Last night I went straight for the big rips and get wayyyyy higher than I needed to be. Tonight the test will be how little can I put in the bowl and still get nice clouds. I'm very curious to see what the cloud does with a .05 or so.

can i stick my male joint in there?

I want to see what you think of this. As far as I can tell, not much reporting here on efficiency like my PD test a while back. I'm interested to see how your results come out!

I would say this is my typical load size with my LSV, short wpa adapter and waffle SGW setup....so I am excited to see how the Cloud performs with an amount this small.

Arriving from UPS today! The trouble with working from home when you know your Cloud is coming...hard not to find yourself zoning out staring at the door. It is also rough to know your Cloud is coming...but have a a very important evening meeting to attend. :ugh: I know what I will be doing the moment I get home late tonight!

sadly i had someone access my checking account overseas so my bank is in the process of transferring my funds into a new account and I'm waiting on a new debit card which should be here today.

Luckily after a day of waiting i got a response from the VapeXhale team and they worked it out with me and accepted my payment through paypal last night and it should of shipped this morning.

Pretty much the worst timing for someone to try to steal my identity or w/e but oh well at least the awesome folks at vapexhale were willing to help me out!

order 262 for anyone who is curious i saw people talking about that a few pages back lol :p

SO PUMPED!

we'll have to get our clouds together at some point shadow that would be a cool video review!

WOW. I had mainly been using this vape at like the 12 o'clock position and the tick after that(which is 1:30) and it gives really smooth hits. But if you put this thing at 2:00(In between the 1:30 tick and the 3:00 tick) It just billows out white vapor like crazy. I think this is the sweet spot, well for my herb right now anyways. It geets bigger clouds than the DBV and they are smoother somehow, its nuts. I find the 3:00 temp to be a little too hot because you can extract everything at 2:00 so 3:00 is your just bringing unnecessary heat because I don't notice bigger clouds. I noticed this same phenomenon with the DBV, where once you find that sweet spot a little more heat isn't extracting anything else, its just more heat.

One week review.

I am less ecstatic than others. The cloud hits well and the vapor is tastier than any other I have tried. (Previously owned volcano, eq) Efficiency is still a bit of a question for me as I seem to be using more material. The clouds hits are not as thick as I had hoped and seems to require a bit more suction than I thought it would to create thick vapor. My mother, who is a smoker, has a hard time getting thick hits from the cloud as she runs out of lung capacity. Another small complaint from me that may be a major issue to others, my vertigo label is flaking off badly around the edges after one week. I am not much of a logo guy so I plan to remove it entirely but some may take issue with this. Also, I had hoped the cloud would take pure dry sift and turn it into thick vapor like an oil hit. It doesn't. Pure dry sift plugs up and makes the unit very hard to pull through. It is better when mixed with coarse ground material but still not the thickness I had hoped for.

Overall. I am still happy with the purchase at $350 but would personally think harder about purchase if the cost were more. The taste and smoothness of the hits are second to none. I guess I just built it up so much in my mind for two years that I was left feeling a bit disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high.

^ When you first turn the unit on, turn the dial all the way to the highest setting and wait a couple minutes longer than when the light turns green. Before you take your first hit, turn the dial down to your desired temp and wait another minute or so. You should be getting thick clouds almost instantly doing this.

Thanks for the honest review strangefruit.

I will gladly take it off your hands if you're not happy ;)

I'm sure once you get things dialed in, it'll be better.
Kinda strange to hear someone who is not totally in love with their Cloud.

When I want to use my kief, I spoon a little normal grind, then the kief, then some more normal grind. I notice that I get more hits from a bowl this way.

Is this your first vape? Just wondering what your experience level is...when I got my first vape I hated it for about a week before I figured it out.

How many different strains have you tried? Sometimes I get a strain that, for some reason, just doesn't vape as well as it smokes. Maybe you have one of those?

Finally, i would ISO wash that ELB that is clogged up and try a coarser grind. Whenever I notice that my ELB is clogged (by holding it up to the light when empty and seeing if I can see through it), I give it a quick ISO wash and I notice thicker hits afterward.

I hope some of this helps.

I thought these same exact things at first. I think to get the results you want pack it so the cap pushes down the herb, and use like temp 2:00 or 3:00. I get way bigger clouds this way than with the DBV at least. I don't really care for the hdratube either though I prefer it through a bubbler or bong, more cooling for bigger hits.

Keep in mind the noon position they recommend is a pretty low temp, for a smoke like high i find around the 5 o'clock position to be about right, its not as hot as you would think.
