So I have read alot of this thread and I can't seem to get the best way to blow up the best bag. Or to make this thing more efficient? I have noticed that my Da Buddha is extremely more efficient, but from what I see in video's on here and hear from you guys it should be just as good. I can put .2 in the da buddha and get high as least 2 times and I mean high as shit. But I put .2 in the extreme and its one thick bag and one ok bag, then it's pretty much done? I can get a nice thick bag if I turn the heat way the hell up but that is too harsh of vapor for me. The da buddha I can get huge ass banger hits of clear tasty as hell vapor. I know its possible to do the same with the extreme, I must just need to tweak something that I'm not already getting. I have only had this thing for a few days now so I know I'm sounding impatient but, come on I want think tasty bags!
Have you tried the whip? The whip is alot tastier IMO. Even when I blow bags at 195C or 200C I still think they taste pretty gross.
It's been known that the DBV is better at whip than EQV and may have a thicker extraction. but you can also combust in the DBV.

Yea I have tried the whip. The da buddha is so much better at the whip I haven't really done that big of a bowl in the Q. I more or less got it as a second room vape and to have the ability to blow bags.
I've got no idea what your talking about there Ganjafly but I'm always intrigued by innovation so please post pics

VapenStone, have you tried the elbowpack method? I can gets hits that rival my old DBV using a good elbow pack, starting at around 380F. This will create dense vapor and nearly whitewalls some glass pieces. Try it out.

Check out Vaporpedia for more info, the elbow pack section is about halfway down.
With the elbow pack, I don't at all miss my DBV for whips, and have other wand-type vaporizers which I like better than the LSV. The 7th floor designs do have a lower failure rate but Arizer warranty coverage is supposed to be a snap.

i am tolking about my project .The glass will not ready before monday.the pic show the scheme of the central piece it' a double use experimental one, this is a prototype to maximize the hot air jet on the grass ,in one way by down-positioning the pack nearest the normal cyclone bowl flow
,in the other way the smallest hole of my personalized cyclone shot the air directly on the grinded herb but rotating

What degree are you guys using for your elbow packs? Also can you elbow pack for a thick ass bag?
It ranges with different temp preferences for different people. I always liked around 200-220 and yeah you can blow some pretty thick bags just be careful not to combust!

What fan speed do you guys use to fill the bags? Elbow pack or no elbow pack?

Too always fan speed 3, I find that 1 and 2 don't extract that well. What you said is crucial, you need to preheat the bowl/herb well and you can get thick bags at 185 no prob. Elbows don't really need preheating, but I don't think you will get big clouds at 185 on an elbow pack. At least not in my experience.

Ok so I did the elbow pack and I don't know if i'm doing it wrong but it didn't seem to work as well as just putting the herb right into the bowl like normal? I actually don't understand how you would get thicker hits using the elbow pack because then the herb is further from the heating element? It also seemed like the front of the elbow pack bowl would get brown but it wouldn't vape the rest? Do you have to stir the elbow pack? If so should you re push it in so the herb doesn't just fall into the bowl like normal anyways? IDK maybe i'm confused.
With the elbow pack you are forcing the hot air through the herb in a much more concentrated beam, which creates thicker vapor. So, as you stated, it will cause a 'hot-spot' in the centre. This means that a stir is required. Give the herb a light push in after the stir with your finger or flat end of the stir tool - not hard, just enough to stop it falling out. Try upping your temp about 10-15 c from normal - I like to start at 200c with an elbow.
