Nice clouds Twzted. I'm sure you could get it hotter but it sure looks good running where it is at.
BTW, we do not recommend using a 13 or 13.5 but the occasional use will not void our warranty. Do not leave the CRZ on voltage over 12 volts when not in use. We like the vapor at 12 volts. Some of you like it hotter, try the 13 or 13.5 for heavy use sessions. The extra voltage will take you to max heat. No more volts than that though.
Looks like our GonG tubing will be here today or tomorrow so I can get caught up on shipping GonG stems and other small orders with GonG stems. I have written down the customers owed GonG stems but knowing me, I might have missed a couple. Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Feel free to send me an Email to remind me so I can double check my list.
I don't mind admitting I miss stuff. That shit is allowed now that I am over 65.
Loving this reworked FC forum!

Time for a little news from Zapville.
This is turning out to be a very busy week for us. We have new life breathing into our little Bio Dynamic Farm this year. The main folks we sell to have spent a bunch of money upgrading several restaurants this last year and want to increase their purchases of local grown produce this year. Apparently, we are one of their favorites because they had us in for the big talk a couple weeks ago....."We know your stuff is priced a little higher but it is better tasting, period. We want this and this and this besides the regular stuff we get every year."
So we have been spending more time this Spring getting things in order. We will also have more help this season because our son living on the place has a real love now and she will be helping daily. A very real down to earth lady.
Those tasks and my desire to get better product shots for CRZs has slowed the Zap train. I have another 'tool' or two coming before the weeks end that will help with the product shots and this morning will finish off a big farm task we have been working on for a long time.
Bottom line is I get back to Zapville today with a full head of steam. I will have more beauties up in a day or two with much better product shots and will announce here before I put them up. My apologies for all units sold out on the website. We will be back on track with always a few choices available for purchase by the weekend.
Oh yes, GonG oversize tubing came in last night. I will get all those orders out that have been held up and send out GonGs we owe on CRZ orders today.
Thanks for all the patience doled out our way.

I got this beautiful storage box in Germany with which to store my Zap accessories in, just thought I'd post a few pics. Ive also ordered the Out On A Limb Zap featured on the Blissville site and should have it by Saturday. I also bought a Bocote stem from Ed to go along with my new zap.

Lycanthrope, the grain on that box is just lovely. Good find! Can't wait to see you're new Zap. ;)

Thanks MOM. I used Photobucket to post these pics, but they did not post using the larger size. How should I post using Photobucket to get the larger size?

You know, I've never used Photobucket. I always use Imageshack. They have a forum thumbnail code you can copy once you've downloaded your pic. Maybe someone who's used Photobucket can chime in here?

You can also edit the picture right on photobucket to make it bigger or smaller. It was quite useful in creating my avatar from a much larger picture.. although now my avatar looks all screwy, hmmm

woah Nanners that some fine looking wood! You are gonna have fun with your new log. ;)

This reminds me, I should make a new vapor video soon ...

I also like that box lycanthrope, its very pretty.

I recently started using photobucket since imageshack is dissatisfying me lately(crashing or saying I have to make an account to see it when I'm already ready, I make it, get a link in my mail and with that link it keeps saying the same)
in the beginscreen there is something called settings or options or so, somewhere at the top I think(only used photobucket 2-3 ties now and discovered it only the last time wich is already a while ago, few weeks or so maybe)
and there you can change the size all your pics upload in

p.s. that CRZ looks stunning

Huh? :uhoh:

I'm on page 309.....

Lycanthrope, that box is just beautiful. In the smaller pic, it looked like grain rather than carving. Stellar.

Thanks for that TheDude. The truth is, since the software/server change here at FC everything is blazing, including the required bullshit to keep a thread on the front page. It does seem we get to the bottom much quicker with the new software.
My thoughts are let us go to page two or three, no big deal. We are always here. I am happy to see that the people who support us and this thread do not engage in back and forth non relevant words to keep us on page 1 of the model specific thread.
You would think maybe, just maybe, MFLB, us and what, the top three? or maybe top 5 vapes in hits, replies, pages, whatever might get a pass for page one.
I for one do not like to play the "pop us up" game or whatever the fuck it is called.
Yup, a few more thoughts on the FC changes.
Apparently nobody has earned a bullshit pass. You know, the pass that will allow your thread to pass on bullshit yet still be seen, especially by newbies.
Sorry. Blame a bottle of Tanqueray. Mods comments welcome.

One of the reasons the Zap thread gets to the bottom quicker (or any other thread) is that there aren't as many threads per page as there were with the old software.

That said, it's not the first time the Zap thread hasn't been on top of the "pile" of threads. Wont be the last. The important thing is that the Zap itself is one of the top vapes out there. And it is. It stands on it's own merit. It doesn't need the bullshit. Since this thread, for the most part, stays pretty well on topic, it doesn't have the meaningless bumps that have propelled other threads to the top of the pile.

So Zapman, what you're saying is true for the most part. No bullshit needed.

momofthegoons,
It kind of surprised me, Rick, because I typically have no problem finding the thread, but it took me awhile to locate it. I wonder if there's a way to alter how many threads one sees on the first page.

TheDudeNextDoor,
Don't see anything. But then I guess the watched thread option will work there.

mod note: Please edit to avoid back to back posts.

Finally let my rockzap get cold and stay cold for a while since I first got it, and just noticed today its got a tiny rattle to it

I remember Rick addressing the rattles earlier saying something about beads of some sort getting loose at the bottom, and that it isn't a functional issue?
Is that still the consensus?

(FYI mine was one of the 1st betas so its as old as the rockzaps get)
Also curious, would not running it 24/7 help prevent the rattle from developing?

SD_haze,

Rick

The rattle is caused by the slight change in the shape of the wood, ie center hole is slightly larger, because after what, 6 months, it was allowed to cool. My guess is the rattle will go away as soon as you heat it back up.
There are no beads of some sort getting loose.
A piece of wood very hot for several months got cold. The shape of the wood changed.
If it did not rattle until you let it get cold, then keeping it heated apparently does help keep the rattle from developing.
Thanks for showing us your nice 'go to' box wolfman. It is a classic for sure.

Doing a little work on the website. My apologies for lighting, etc, still not right. I guess it gets worser before it gets better. These were done late last night and are still not right but I wanted to get them up. All "sold out" on the website is not a good thing. They are all beauties.
An image making tool shipment was delayed til Monday. That is my excuse for images off still. These will be going up over the next hour or so. More later today.
Hang in there. I'll get the pics right eventually.

Thanks everyone for your comments on my Zap accessories storage box. This was all hand carved in Kassel Germany. I have some other boxes for vape items storage that are unique in themselves as well as being one of a kind. I think that I'll be getting my Out On a Limb from Blissville today. My wife is as interested in seeing this Zap as I am. I'll post some pics of the new Zap next to my my older brass Zap (Lucille) for a visual comparison. I'll also post some pics of my other storage box. I'll have to introduce my new Zap to Lucille later today. I'll have to think of a name for the new Zap to go along with Lucille. It seems to me that Lucille is definitely a girl and the new Zap is probably a a guy so I need to come up with a good name for the new guy. After that they'll cohabit side by side.

Quietly waiting in anticipation.

Is that a round Wikka shaker box you have in there mr. Wolfguy?

No, That's a 3-inch wood grinder I got from Ed's TnT and its very nice for the price. I use it to grind larger amounts of herb and Mendo Mulcher to grind lesser amounts which is usually the case. It grinds as well as the Mendo but takes a bit longer to achieve the degree of grind.

Okido, thanks for answering :)

I think the mods will understand, but for next time:

What I normally do is I write up the post like you did with that one ^^, and then copy it but don't submit it but edit my older post and paste it in there at the bottom. Hope that helps!
