Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Perfectly Toasted
By the way... let me say:

The Cloud is AWESOME!!! I absolutely LOVE this vape. I'm hooked and everyone I've introduced it to is dying to order one now. Can't say if I like it with the HT or other pieces more - which I think is part of the real beauty of it.

I'm planning on taking some nice high-res (milk) shots soon to post up for everyone.

THANK YOU VXL!!! You guys have built an _excellent_ product. Well worth the wait.

Once question I had though is why are the trees closed to the base and not open?

i am assuming you do not mean the arms/branches are closed/sealed at the tip, but rather the tips are in close proximity to the bottom/base glass. ime, most of the tree design bubblers have this same charactersitic. only in a couple instances have i seen more space between the tip of the arm and the base. soo..., i would say that is the traditional design (with it being so close). perhaps those with more glass knowledge can actually explain the reasoning/science.

curious... do you feel it is impeding the performance of the ht in any way in your experience?

The trees are bonded to the glass @ the bottom as reinforcement, It helps to prevent any damage from normal use.

Hi sm55 and rest of VapeXhale, now the next problem I have is, that your system will not accept my german credit card if I use an address located in the US. Now I have an account with shipito.com and still cannot finish the online payment. Any suggestions?

Just sent you an email but looks like the same problem we had with our Canadian orders. Our team is making adjustments so that it will accept international orders and will reach out to you when completed. Apologies for the delay.

Greystroke - The same thing happens to me sometimes. During my demos, we would always start off with lots of conversation and then after a few bowls in, I start seeing blank stares and conversation dies down. The downside of getting medicated too quickly :)

Mongorian - so happy that you are pleased with your unit. Even though I have the utmost confidence in the Cloud, I still nervously wait to read everyone's personal experiences. Keep them coming!

stonemonkey55,
Could someone try cranking that knob and boiling some oil? Either stacked conventional screens, cotton from a Q-tip or my favorite, the deconstructed Volcano liquid pad should do the job. Does the VXC get as hot as I hoped, to completely vaporize oils?

Any lucky Cloud owners want to educate me?

One concern I still have is cleaning the "pass through" if something does somehow get down in there, I am more than willing to try, I even have a deconstructed volcano pad for just this thing, so if one of the VXC boys wants to let me know if it can be cleaned

But so far my TV rev has been working fine for oil and meltier concentrates

The VXC is great for kief and cumbly bubble

wouldn't it be a matter of just cleaning oil off glass? you can stick a q-tip/cleaning swab in there while the unit is still warm. and if it required further cleaning, you can later (after it has cooled) use q-tip/swab dipped in iso or your fav glass degreaser/cleaner (grunge off/ simple green/ natures orange/ formula420/ purple/ etc). and if your elb also needs cleaning, you can soak that in said liquids as well.

:2c: i would keep using the tv for oils though and use the cloud for flowers/kief/bubble.

No oil here here but plenty of kief. I loaded an EZB probably 50% full with two layers of dry unpressed kief in between herb and it worked great. I had the "wah wah's" for a while after that session but ended up getting about 6 good rips with the knob set between 12 and the 2'o clock position. I probably could have gotten a few more hits out of it by cranking it up a little bit but I didn't need any more at that point. :ko:

Dear VapeXhale Crew,
I am extremely sadden by your teaser trailer... because I ordered on 2/xx/2012. Lol. I want to congratulate you guys again for launching your product! I followed your thread since the very beginnings then late afterwards. (regrettably skipped the middle) I am excited and EXTREMELY anxious to receive my xHale.

I have a question about temperature. What is the temperature of the dial exactly at Noon position? What is the max temp of the unit? I previously owned a magick-Wand and that thing gets EXTREMELY HOT ( I can barely hold it) How does the cloud compare to the Wand heat wise? (externally)

Thanks again!

With the knob turned down as low as possible, can you achieve sub-visible-vapor temperature?

I just tried it it with a fresh bowl and got no vapor with my 18 inch stemless and the ht but i did definitely feel the hits and the taste was really nice. i am using grape ape. i will have to try it in the morning. when i am less high. the buzz i get at low temps is very nice and enjoyable to me. the temp control on this vape is very accurate i would just like to know what the temp at off, 9 .12 .and 3 .

According to the vxc manual (avail @ the vxc website) the noon position on the dial is equivalent to 400F. I would suggest the the off position would indicate a temp equal to room temp (70F).

Now according to some charts that I have seen where the different active compounds start releasing around 290F and combustion stars at 445F. So if you accept that the noon position is 400F then it would appear that for every "hour" on the dial you would increase the temp by 110F.

How far past noon do you have to go to combust? Does that change the 110F per hour estimate? If so then the heater isn't necessarily controlled by the dial. Which also means that you will never know the exact temp your vaping at.

Iamkrazy2 pointed out to me that even though my ha has actual temp gradients marked on the dial it's foolish to believe that they're accurate. I have to assume that advice holds true for the cloud as well. I wonder if the cloud does the same thing as the sv1, which is to underestimate the actual temp displayed on the gauge by 30-50F? That way people think they are getting lower temp Vapes then they actually are. That way people can brag about the huge "low temp" (400+F) clouds.

I dont think people realized there is a temperature range with herb that doesn't really make a difference. I think its 390F-410F where no known compounds boil off. That would mean its best to vape at 390F(low temp vapor) or then 410-428F(high temp vapor) Vaping at 400F you are just giving yourself 10 degrees of extra heat that isnt needed, you're just making it hotter on yourself. Then again we don't really kniow because there is no digital temp vape available that reads an accurate temp. Its arguable the volcano is pretty damn close and it goes to show most people use it from about 370 to 400F. Any hotter and flavor declines but people argue you get more sedative coumpounds upwards of 420F. I hope the cloud can reach 445F so we can fully vape all concentrates. This is all speculation I suppose because the numbers are based on independent research no formal studies have been done.

Finally coming up for air guys...all I can say is: "wow!" :p I have now had the opportunity to try out the cloud with a few different pieces of glass and at various temps. I'd have to say my favorite piece so far is my Sovereignty 60MM bent neck. You can see the can get filled up with (literally rolling) clouds and you can easily see it milking up beautifully!!! I also certainly love the diffusion and taste I get from the Sovereignty HT! It is also IMO the easiest to use. I haven't had anyone try it out yet except my wife and I, but I can say that I am sure the noob factor is very low with The Cloud. Right out of the box it will blow you away even if you dont have a lot of other glass!

The enclosure is beautiful! I like how it is sort of wood grained in an almost homage to log vapes (of the future) :ninja: The case gets warm, but not hot. I have found that when using it with toobs it is best to hold it down around the legs, and with an HT hold it with your thumb on the logo and your fingers wrapped around the back. It is very well balanced and feels good in your hand  The power cord is nice too, it is a good length and where it comes out of the back of the unit is very comfortable. The heater core (metal part around glass tube) gets hot which is why it is clearly stamped with the word HOT. I don't see any need to touch that area, so it is kind of a moot point, but just something I think worth mentioning.

As far as temps used, I have been hovering around noon or sometimes 12:30 if I am using a bigger tube. I want to take some time to experiment with below 12:00, but honestly I have been so impressed with the magnitude and taste of hits so far that I have just been kind of hangin' around there. 367F is supposed to release the more cartoony and euphoric sensations that are so much fun in social situations. So I am hoping by lowering the temp a little I will be able to control the effects more easily. Definitely more testing to be done in this area so stay tuna-ed!

I have never really packed an ELB more than 50% full and it provides a lot (plenty) of hits! You could stone out 2 people with pretty high tolerances with 1 full ELB, I am sure. You want to keep hitting it, and hitting it, but wow...I don't think I have felt this medicated for quite awhile. A few good hits are all ya need!

I still plan on posting more pictures and videos soon, I have some well deserved time off coming so I will get a chance to introduce some more of my buds to The Cloud and gather their impressions as well! I can't wait to hear about more people's experiences!!

We are part of a very special fraternity now guys! Thanks to team VXC we are finally experiencing what I like to call: "Luxury Vapor" :buzz: Cheers everyone!!!

delta 9 thc the most potent form vaporizes near its flash-point 149.3c(300.74f) cbd is 206.3c(403.34f). the aromatic terpenes vaporize at 126c(258f). According to MAPS study benzene, toluene, and naphthalene start to appear at 185c(365f). I vape to avoid those poisons. So i set my cloud at 9oclock and i am very happy with the buzz i get. Imo i would rather vape thc and eat cbd. One of the reasons that i started vaping was to avoid cbd and to enjoy the psychedelic effects of delta 9 thc. the cloud performance does this to perfection :2c:

Thanks for that info Jackstraw, I am going to take the plunge on my next session and pre-heat to noon and then sliiiiide down to around 9 o Clock or so. It sounds like that might be a good time to make a fun video!!!

ok i just realized that my previous estimate about how many degrees(F) per hour the dial adjusts is wrong. i assumed that the vxc turned on at the 9am position. so, if the vxc turns on at 6am, (what is the correct ON position?) then it would be safe to half my estimate of 110F per hour. since room temp is variable by10F or more, especially if your lucky enough to live in hawaii like pakalolo pretends, versus someone in northern canada, i would guess now that 60F+/-(?) per hour, would be somewhat accurate.

in the end, it doesn't really matter what temp the dial puts you at, as long as the next time you put the dial there it gives you the exact same performance it did the last time. consistency is more valuable then actual numbers, imo.
