My vote is for A too (was for D when I could only view them on a phone and I thought D was the view of a unit on a workbench through a keyhole).

Neato little stash box too (never doubted your creativity and ingenuity for a moment. ;)

OOO NO! broken PD!:( though the only test i haven't tried is the car adapter, since i cant seem to get the car for more then doing to work. i dropped it about 3-4 weeks ago now, about a 3 foot drop to concreate. thought it was the transformer, as that wasn't heating up(the wall wart part). ordered a new one from Tom and Pammy, arrived last night, picked it up this morning. tried 3 plugs in my room and got nothing what so ever. what are the usual problems that occur with a drop? im going to email Tom and Pammy after i try another plug on another floor(been 10 minutes, ill check and update soon) to see what to do next. 3-4 weeks without my PD is really raising the weed consumption much more per week, 2 grams more ish.
my pick would be f, im surprise no one else liked that one. all well. to each his/her own ;)

Try the car adapter and email Tom. When my pd failed I bought several wall warts and needed none of them. Had I tried the car adapter first I would have saved some money.

Yeah I'm on my 5th wall wart in a year and I've dropped my pd worse than that. I highly doubt it's broke. If the light on the car charger stays on with your car off just leave it plugged in your car for a couple of hours. It won't drain your battery fast enough to kill your car. I have 6 hours of class and leave mine plugged in my car with a wool sock around it and it's pipin hot everytime I come out. I do the same at work and have never had a problem. Even with out frigid winters. I just don't see how a 3 foot drop can be worse than a dryer or the throw Tom did as well. They're a very resiliant unit

as do i, because the PD is insanely durable. but as i said, i dont have the car long enough to test it out, and im not leaving the car unattended with the key in the ignition for an hour. next time i take the car for a drive, which could take forever to be able to do.

Plug it in and take a thirty to forty minute drive, if it is warm at the end of your drive it might be an issue with the wall wart. If it is still cold, you might want to send it in to tom to have the insides looked at.
There might be a missed solder connection that could become looser in a long drop.

We are going through the possibilities by e-mail. Troubleshooting with multiple-suggestions from a forum and e-mails can get things confused. Too many cooks can spoil the soup. ;)

Hey guys let's move on. (sorry for mis-spell in this line, corrected now)

Just another PD Pandora pic.

What do you provide:
SAFETY GLASSES or GOGGLES !
A) or B) Slip Jaw Pliers
C) Needle Nose Pliers
D) *Ring Pliers
E) or M) Flush Wire Cutters or Nail Clippers
F) Glue
G) Hammer
H) *Soldering Iron
I) Scissors
J) Phillips Screwdriver
K)or L) Hemostats or Tweezers

* About $10 each or you might borrow them
from an 'uncle'. The rest of the tools are
pretty common to most kitchen junk drawers.
On the page for the kit you also don't have M) labeled. Those just toe nail clippers? Minor I know but that is what I am here for.

Edit: I am an idiot. It says it right there I just lost it b/c I expected it to be after L. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK TOM!

Yeah, they (nail clippers) cut really well and cut flush too, so if you don't have E) they are an everyday item that will work as well. I use E) but I'm a tool nut, always have been. Speaking of which I picked up the hole saw for cutting wood disks for the Pandora bottom. Still looking for the right plywood, I want AC Birch, probably have to order it.

Troubleshooting anything is an exercise in logic. Assumptions can lead down the wrong path. I appreciate others trying to help, but taking things in order and one step at a time is sometimes the easiest way to nail down the problem. And possibly, like Sticks says, save postage or other un-needed expenses. :)

Just made up some more Cherry stash boxes after lunch. They will be nice prizes. But just prizes, we will not be selling them. Just something fun for friends. Still no post cards, but Pammy says post cards are slow. Still looking for that first King of the Heap.

Oh cool, the last one you sent is above my workbench, along with the others. Manatees, Baby pigs, Landmarks, we love them all. ;)

I like landscape photography best.. maybe. Pretty scenery. :2c:

I suppose post card creativity deserves a prize too. :D
Maybe some other awards. ;)
VVV Most beautiful? :) etc.

since tom cant officially answer this question in email, ill ask the good people here. i have to ship my unit back to tom, and therefore, im a bit worried about possible traces of mary jane being left behind for detection. what are the chances, if any, of this happening?

Just give your PD a good spanking, knock anything out of it and you should be good to go.
If you think about it, the majority of THC oils and the likes are inside the stems. Only a small amount of vegetable matter makes it into the PD. Just turn it over and spank that stuff out.
The only time I would be worried about mailing anything PD would be the stems. Those are the major offenders of THC collecting.
You don't need to send your stems in when it gets fixed. So a spanking should do just fine.

Hopefully it is just slow. I sent one the first night after it was announced, but I made the postcard myself, so hopefully it didn't get damaged beyond the point of deliver-ability.

D'oh! I knew I should have gone with the landscape (I even had one from Cannon beach that I thought you would enjoy). Oh well, next time :)

jklasd...If you are in the US I wouldn't worry about it. I sent my PD in to Tom with none of the stems or accessories and had no problem. I would only sweat this if going through customs.

We stopped for a nice Mexican diner in Cannon Beach. Send it in next contest. We took the coast drive in 2001. Hwy 101 from Port Angeles, WA to Leggett, CA (where we detoured to Ft. Bragg). The coast was so beautiful we moved here in 2003. Just had to come back. Planning a trip to Portland someday, want to see the gardens and markets etc. we will take the coastline south on the way home.

If anybody ever wants to make the coastline trip, on 101, start in the north and go southbound, it's much easier to pull off at all the overlooks, from that side of the road. :2c:

canadian customs is a b*tch. Well, so is the US Customs for that matter... Maybe use a shop vac to try and suck up anything spanking dont get.

jklasd...then I would do what devo says and shake, spank and vaccuum all the stuff out of it. I agree there should be no reidue to get you in trouble.
