Need denser clouds! HELP!

max

Out to lunch
We have specific threads for all the name brand vapes. The HI thread has all the info you need, and should be read if you're seriously interested in it.

max,
I think I'm still leaning towards the rockzap or UD but I just want to know all possible options.

I couldnt agree more with Max. You need to read the vape specific threads and ask questions about them in those appropriate threads. You will unlikely be able to compare them all in this thread. Do some reading and come back here when you start making decisions.

LogVaked, I was in your position a couple of weeks ago, and ended up choosing the Underdog.
If you have time, my advice would be to read the entire UD thread. It took me about 3 days, but it really helped me make my decision.

barca14,
Pretty sure I'm ordering a oak burl rockzap tommorow! I looked through the vape specific forums like you guys recommended and I have made my decision! I'll post pictures when I get it and keep you guys informed how I like it. Also I think my friend is going to wood burn some designs into it which should look pretty nice!
Thanks everyone! Sincerely, LogVaked.

I'd also like to know how a CRZ stacks up against the UD. heard the 2 are the most comparable though. :)

From earlier in this thread
Packing the same amount i get fairly similar density with rockzap & underdog, but because I *can* pack more in the UD, it has the capacity to get much denser and bigger hits for sure.

To add on to that, to give the CRZ credit where credits due, it honestly feels a bit more "solid" and durable. Of course, you have the peace of mind that if something does malfunction, with either of them, you'll be taken care of.

thx for the additional input! SD! i have shaken my ud a bit and i hear things happening inside. There is nothing wrong with it mind you, but it makes me wonder if i should shake it so! :/ for fear of wearing it out sooner. I should go ask the UD himself! :)

weedemon,
Ok guys, i chickened out. I was sitting infront of my computer screen about to order my rockzap but then I froze, I just couldn't press the checkout button. My friend who owns a rockzap (which I didn't know until today haha) told me how the rockzap would be incredibly efficient but wouldn't give me close to the densest milkiest hits so I decided to expand my options (not only log vapes) I've been looking into the SSV and still am thinking about an underdog. So basically Im starting over the topic, What vape will give me the densest milkiest hits for my money (200-250$)

Thank you, LogVaked

Get one of the ubertwigs from UD, they run 175 new, and 150 blemished but functional :)

lost dog cost 150 and is a regular unit. (ie a full size unit) they are cooler than an uber twig

twigs, cost 175, and are hotter running units. they are better for if you plan to run your hits though water!

IMO the UberTwigs offer a denser cloud and I have never combusted in either of my UD's. I came very close one time with the Tupelo Goblet but it never combusted just charred a bit. Completely my fault though (I sometimes do dumb-ass things and get dumb-ass consequences).

Denser vapour comes from hotter temperatures and higher vapour-to-air ratio. It's that simple.

Straining for the biggest clouds means that you will always be flirting with combustion. Clouds mean you are using up your material faster and have less control over the effects. Since the terpenoids that give flavour vaporize at lower temperatures, clouds overwhelm what isn't destroyed and so you get less taste. The chances of wasting lots of vapour through coughing are much higher. If none of these things matter to you, get the hottest device with the most constricted airpath that you can find.

do the 'lost dogs' and 'ubertwigs' have the same core size? 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch?

they are all the 3/8th good to leave on 24/7 core now. he is only using it from now on and all logs on teh site for sale are also the new core too i believe.

Yes at this time if you say Underdog, its 3/8. There are so few exceptions to this that will be gone soon enough anyway so for the sake of clarity assume all UDS are 3/8 24/7 cores unless the site specifically says otherwise.

As for vapor density I BELIEVE I've heard DBV was more dense hitting than the SSV. If this is true I owned a DBV and can say that my UD provides denser hits with my aqua vape for sure. I never really cranked the DBV up too high, but that is because it was unpleasant to go any higher than I did with the temp.

The good thing about UD's is you can adjust the screen position. You am cool the vapor down by moving the screen away from the heater core or get fatter denser hits by moving the screen closer.
