I don't believe this has been asked yet.
Can it be used while charging? I would suspect not. do to the current draw needed, however if using a higher output supply or a car adapter is this possible?
This is a huge option as you are not dead in the water as long as you have a 12-14.5 V supply.

It can be used while charging. We've tested it and it does work, although if the battery is close to completely drained, it won't work as well.

the spokesperson for this company isn' t the right guy.

your awkward dude..selling a vape and hyping up a product you would never actually use properly because that would be "illegal"

and this video review that was made is clearly your younger brother or somthing.

Just straight up wierdness in this thread...

i am curious to see it in the hands of some actual vape heads...but man o man....wierd marketing strategy with all these lame videos.

I am interested in this vape, but the first videos have put the brakes on my purchase.
Hopefully some further reviews will establish whether or not to take this thing serious.
As it stands, I have not seen a good vapor=cost ratio. The videos are kinda creepy....

Your previous post on this model seems to suggest that any vape that doesn't easily produce big clouds of vapor is a failure. Not everyone agrees with 'only clouds=a good vape'. I've been enjoying my LB for years and never try to get big hits from it.

Your current post is really on the edge of the 'be nice' rule, as well as the line that crosses from criticsm of a company to attacking it.

Oglesby and Butler is another company that had no previous experience with producing vaporizers. They've done pretty well with their products. Let's give this company a chance to see what they can do. Not every vape company is started by vapor enthusiasts, as with VapeXhale and others.

I had the pleasure to test the DaVinci on a Ski Lift in Mammoth Mountain
last week. Adding the extra few inches of silicon tubing really helped me
reach the DaVinci while leaving it inside my inner jacket pocket, very
stealth! I even used it with other riders on the chair lift, just turned my
head away from them and they have no idea I was vaping. Here is a video I
took, since it is windy you can just barely see the vapor blowing to the
side of my face.

Rest assured, it worked very well to do the job. I prefer using the temp range of
375-395F on the DaVinci, higher temps resulted in undesirable taste and very
darkened material.

My real older brother actually got me into vaporizers in the late 90's with the Vriptech water tool and Steinel Heat Gun, then Eterra and Vaporbrothers, some of the first functional true vapes on the market... I have not very been active at posting here so far, but I've been around and vaping a very long time. I have no reason to hype any one of the tons of vapes on the market, I give honest feedback from my experiences. My enthusiasm is genuine and sincere, hope it can help some others. Looking forward to contributing more, vape on!

From the youtube video "The Davinci Portable vaporizer has taken the vaporizer world by storm." Can someone explain how one or 2 units in the wild and relatively little known info are similar to taking the world by storm. The MFLB for example, one could say this. 500 pages and who knows how many thousands and thousands of units sold.

I just think it's a bit early to declare it a great success when virtually no one has used one, but the same is true about declaring it a failure. Wait and get some real life reviews out there.

As far as I'm concerned (no offense to anyone who has spoken about it so far) we are yet to see a review from a member I recognize here, and that is when I'll start taking notice.

Darkrom, I'm not at liberty to discuss specifics until later when I can make a more formal announcement, but based on the buzz and number of pre-sales of the DaVinci at last month's CHAMPS show, there was a huge movement. We honestly didn't know what to expect. We're the new kid on the block and even though we feel we have a top of the line vaporizer, we weren't sure how the industry would perceive us. We had our breaths taken away by the enthusiasm for our product.

It can be hard to stay humble when industry buyers are fawning heavily over your product.

Agreed though that it may be early to declare success. I'm very eager to see how the vape buying public reacts to the DaVinci. I wouldn't want someone spending their hard earned $250 on an inferior product that doesn't live up to expectations. All the hype and praise in the world doesn't mean anything if the person who spent money on the product isn't satisfied.

Since we cant change the battery but have to send the unit back, what is the expected average battery life?????

This thing is pretty expensive and for this price, will have to walk on FC water before I will buy.. But if I see a ton of good reviews here, I will for sure get one.. I too and looking for something better to replace my MFLB(Which I still like).

Shipping Pre orders still expected to happen soon?

The average battery life is approximately 2000 cycles. This is also why we added the automatic shutoff feature, to preserve the battery life. Quite a few of these tweaks we made were to extend the battery life as much as possible.

We're expecting first shipment into the office on March 15th, pending any customs holdups.

Been waiting for a good review up here before I buy.. I've been spending so much on toys lately and sorely want to know the quality of this first; especially since it is Chinese made. Expecting good things based on vids though...

Will Davinci still be accepting the $199 FC discount on this? Or one of the vendors? I'm hoping so....
