Help With New Grinder

It came today and looked great, the only problem is I can't open the bottom kief compartment, I can't tell if is stuck or what, it is brand new and I am confused why it won't open. If anyone has had this problem with this or any grinder and has suggestions that would be great!, Thanks.

I got a silver "aerospaced" grinder off vapeworld and it screws off fine.
maybe because yours has black paint on it, it got stuck together? email the company you bought it from, I don't think you can do anything else except try to muscle it open.

on second thought.. maybe try heating the metal in hot water so it expands?

Well this is funny, right after I posted this I tried again and it worked. Just took a lot of elbow grease. So if the mods can delete this thread that would be great.

If you're handy with a torche you could try gently heating just the part above the kief catcher. Just make it warm though, not hot, I'm not sure how the screen is attached in that one. Keep it at a good distance, the flame doesn't have to touch the grinder to get it warm.
