On the subject of storage, how does everyone store and transport their unit?

For the TV1 I pretty much just pocket it or put in in an M&M minis tube if its being put in the car, hiding in plain sight is a good idea until a kid wants some candies lol. With the revolution I pretty much only put it in the minis tube as if its in the pocket it will leak out the window or crawl up to the mouthpiece.

One thing I would love to see is something along the lines of what has been done for the Alpha Ultra units from Innovapor.com . Though they are really expensive($100 for the size that would fit a revolution) they have the perfect little storage set up.

Thermovape, can we ever expect an official carrying case similar to the above? Maybe not built out of solid steel to cut some costs though?

BudBuddy, what size (weight) M&M minis are you using and for what? The whole heater core or the whole TV or just the Rev...?

Whoa thats a sweet setup for a travel case. I also throw the TV1 in my pocket with a PowerPax in the other pocket. :brow:

I'm new to this forum and the vaping community in general. I have never owned a vaporizer myself and am on the verge of ordering one. However, I do have some questions about the ThermoVape:

1. I understand the heat core is consumable, what is the average life for this unit and how often would I be looking to replace this?

2. I'm debating between TV and Wspr, and the only reason I'm considering wspr is because i would like to vape some pipe tobacco and it seems that the wspr would be ideal for this purpose. I know the iolite is definitely suited for tobacco. Has anybody else tried to vape tobacco in the TV? Is it suited for this purpose? I don't want to get into the ecig bandwagon.

3. Vapornation is offering various other perks if I were to purchase the TV from them. But if I do this, would I be missing out on any perks the company has and if i were to have any issues with my unit would I be stuck dealing with Vapornation or would TV people take up the responsibility?

4. How long do the batteries last? not as in per session but the overall life? I know its dependent on use but has anybody ran into problems with batteries after a month or two? A friend of mine got a MFLB two months ago & his batteries are definitely not at all what they use to be in the first week.

5. Is the TV a better option over the wspr?

I would love any feedback or advice, as I am very involved at my university community and always find it to be a hassle to be discrete and always find myself going out of the way just to avoid any stigma. I know I shouldn't care but my positions with various student organizations demand a certain perception among the faculty.
But at the same time i don't want to buy something so expensive and not fall in love with it.

I would love to hear OF's opinion, he seems very knowledgeable

Dang, that carry case is sexxxy. I could get into that... though I'm loving how low-profile the naked thing is, overall (at least in black, to me). Even with batteries and chargers, it's basically just one more piece of almost-invisible electronic gadgetry

Some more recent thoughts about the TV1:

- Definitely do need a screen between the bowl and filter/mouthpiece... Very nice that standard sized screen basically just drops right in. Cleaning out the air holes gets old very fast.

- ISO alcohol wipe works a treat. Haven't worked up the courage to boil 'er yet... Haven't managed to separate the delrin sleeve, even. (Not that I've tried particularly hard). Did try un-screwing the thermocore by wrapping a rubber band around it a few times, but am unsure of the thread direction and didn't try this for too terribly long either.

- Batteries still annoying. Hopefully they don't become the equivalent of another (somewhat pricey) consumable... but these things definitely get heat-cycled hard, which I'm sure is less than ideal for their lifespan.

- Have installed the piece of paper in battery compartment to reduce battery rattle.

- Tasty, tasty, hits. First bowl + fresh batteries = biiiig cloud. I'm sure other vapes are as big or bigger, but in my own limited experience, I can summarize it as: Damn.

Big thanks once again to all the thread contributors here. Invaluable resource this is, because of dudes like you.

Its the 1.94oz/55g container, about 6" long so the TV fits perfectly complete but you have to take off the mouthpiece on the Rev, I just drop it in on the side. Then it just stand up in the cup holder. An just like Boss a powerpax is always in my pocket or dash compartment.

No problemo, should have mentioned it sooner but I didn't think much of it as it was a container I had laying around.

The color coding is something I had not thought of. Just checked and I can also fit my bho container, Rev +adapter, as well as my whip folded in half with the mouthpiece. Very nice versatility we just stumbled upon. From on lookers we just look like big fans on M&M's lol

Just took a dab of some iso hash oil wrapped it in pure cotton and put it in my TV no huge clouds but it works well :cool:

i also did this method in my LB w/pa and it works very well. you guy should give this a shot. :peace:

Any 510 threaded HR atty is compatible... as for what your best bet is for a decent cheap one, Im not sure. I use Joye HR attys but theyre still about 10 bucks each. Maybe ECF has some good info on cheaper attys?

Hey Peloton, got that Ultramax Res and all I can say is wow, now it is the best ecig I own as well, and all interchangeable with ThermoVape parts. The UltraPure Menthol is also really great.

Hey TV, any truth to this? Are these cases available with a nice FC

Absolutely. No individual or event in mind on the negative side, it just struck me as being 'abnormal' to have old school manners show up, refreshing even.

Apex Vapor is actually our sister company for e cigarettes, The aluminum case offered for the Apex UltraMax will not fit either the T1 or Revolution due to a size constraint. We are currently in the works to develop a case for our Thermo Essence products, we will publish more when we are closer to producing it.

If I was to choose Wspr/TV1 all over, after using TV1 about 2 weeks.. I'd say 100% TV1.. Why ? Let me explain..

1- Elegant Design
2 - Stealth
3 - No Butane (I've been hearing stories that some of the units are leaking butane)
4 - Silent
5 - Easy to clean

Each set of batteries are good for a load.. Usually a load is 6-7 hits.. My method is usually
1st hit : 12 sec heating - 15 sec draw - little vapor
2nd hit : 12 sec heating - 20 sec draw - huge vapor // shake the load
3rd hit : 8 sec heating - 25 sec draw - man I'm good.. // shake the load
4th hit : 8 sec heating - 20 sec draw - ooooohhh yeaah // shake the load
5th hit : 15 sec heating - 15 sec draw - less vapor, but taste is still good.. // shake the load
6th hit : 15 sec heating - 30 sec draw - Finish the load with style..

Also for those, who is having trouble removing the plastic sleeve, here is my method.. load the TV, and use it all the way.. when it gets to the hottest point, everything gets loose and easier to pull..

Few pages earlier, there was a post re- 10 tenergy batteries. Don't remember who posted it but THANKS!!! I ordered few days ago and scheduled to arrive on Monday.. Can't wait..

Thermovape was going to replace my battery, but without thinking it had already gone in the trash of a thousand flus, so I accept the loss. I'll need more batteries soon. I definitely love this device.

Firstly, thank you for the detailed and quick response.
The more i research, the more i'm leaning towards TV as the right choice.
But I am curious, would I still be expecting the same 10 average draws? or fewer? because as your website states, tobacco needs a higher temperature. For example, if I were to join somebody for a smoke, can I expect to comfortable accompany them throughout the length of their cigarette? or is it more of a personal few hits? despite how small you make them
Also, since this is a waterproof device, am I able to use it safely in the shower?
Finally, do you guys do any engravings or etchings kinda like with the ipods when you buy them directly from apple?

Also, Thank you kingofqueens for the comparison. So according to you, the battery life is usually not a concern? I'm not a heavy user or anything, I'm not looking to get outright stoned every time I just want it as a stress reliever, but for when I do want to, the TV will pass the test?

I joined close to a year ago. I don't post much, was just on here asking some questions because I have this vape in the mail. I didn't think I was being rude at all, perhaps people are just friendlier around here (plus I kiss ass all day working at a country club, this I'd hoped was more laid back).

Edit: What I'm trying to say is I'm sorry my questions were rude, I always try to be respectful and always am appreciative of anyone who reaches out in the slightest for me.
