Car adapters are just a cord, there is no induction, or voltage change. So, yeah, that would work, but seems a bit thin in comparison. IMO

Just not sure what you mean, Gautama, "No wait though..." Accessories have no wait or lead time. :/
Your accessories have lead? Kidding...

Hey guys. Just a quick question.

Does anyone else find that different strains can vary in their AVB browness using a PD? I ask because the last stuff I had went a lot browner than the stuff im using now. The stuff now is actually green still when blowing it out.

For me, it means that I didn't dry it out enough yet &/or I don't have it ground fine enough. But it could very well be the strain if you did everything the same as you did with the last stuff.

The stuff I got this week was like that. It grinded up to a super fine consistency and could only load 1/2 to 1/4 tubes without the draw becoming too difficult. When I blew out the material, it was the greenest I've seen.

I saved all that in a separate ziplock bag and smoked it in my DBV on Sunday night. I thought I'd get a lot more out of it but it still only gave me the 1-2 hits I'm used to off PD ABV.

That is exactly what this is like, its dry enough to grind well, but really hampers airflow.

I would personally suggest drawing slower when you're filling the tube. That way less gets pulled in and it doesn't pack tight enough to clog anything. I've noticed that the finer I grind it the less I should pack to maintain good airflow (almost blew out a lung on one bowl last night :ko:). Made for a long lasting bowl, though, I'll say that.

I think re-vaping AVB in a whip vape to me is a drag. I think it's much cooler to use it for cooking - it's more fun and you get higher.

Ya, it's not worth the taste to me either.. Just that the ABV was so green I had to give it another go....

Any experience with using PD in colder environments? I use mine ini 55-60F places, but doesn't seem to produce thick draws...or does it need to be in 70F rooms?

right, generally i view it as akin to drinking bong water.
Right, but bong water, unless the bong is specifically used only for vapor, is absolutely disgusting. Literally gag-worthy (if not puke-worthy). Re-vaping AVB is at worst a little bit of, "Eww, burned popcorn-ish kinda sorta." I don't think it's right to compare the two. :2c:

True, bong water tastes worse. (Or so I'm told..)

i like loading my bong with fresh water and use it whit my whip vapes then drink the water after that... mmmm...

Alot of the strains that I vape tend too come out of the PD still looking green. By itself, the ABV, looks like you can totally still vape it. but when i compare it too the unvaped stuff, there is a definite difference. I've tried revaping my PD ABV and have not had good results, the PD just pulls more of the active ingredient out. good for cooking.

Alright, so Ive got an interesting concept

I'm big into mopeds, and I dont own a car, so how do I end up using the car adapter?

Well, I'm thinking about splicing a cigarette jack into my electrical system for vaping on the go.

There are some big advantages over a battery pack, i.e. being able to warm it up and use it multiple times during a weekend at a campsite

Mopeds can get up to 100 MPG stock, and although it would be a little unnecessary to run my moped for 30 minutes just to get it to temp, I'd have enough gas to do it enough times to get me through the weekend and get home again.

The disadvantages would be that although my moped runs off of a 12V system (just like the PD), the actual voltage output varies by RPM, around 7-9V at idle and up to 15-16V at full throttle.

Although 15-16 volts is far too much power for the PD, as discussed earlier with the car adapter, I think that the SUPER increased airflow of a moped would bring it down to a good operating temperature. Plus, I can always insulate it with a cozy or other device if it gets too cold.

I was thinking I could just keep it in a backpack and pre-load some tubes before I roll out and attach tubing long enough to reach my mouth from my backpack and attach the end of the tubing on my shoulder strap and take a puff as needed.

It would take some experimenting but I think I could get it to work.

What do you think, Yay or Nay?

Nay, Pull your bike to the side of the road and catch. Two screws in the ankle and a rod in the femur tell me that some people out there arnent paying attention, yours shouldnt be diverted. Keep your attention to the road and other cars. One oops can be wayyyy to costly. :2c:

Nay

I half thought you were joking

i dont think the "super increased airflow" of a moped would ever compensate esp in your backpack

i agree with ^ wire the jack but save it for on the side of the road

i guess driving a moped would be like driving my supermoto on the highway.. just all the time..so i feel your pain though brother lol :D

use a beer koozie (those foam things too keep you beer cold). If your in cold places the unit will run cooler from the ambient air around. The beer Koozie can help bring the temp back up
