Here's my circular breathing hitting technique:
Do one 7 second hit (until the battery protection kicks in), Sherlock style filling my mouth with vapor,
Inhale that, hold for 10 seconds, start a 2nd hit, pulling Sherlock style, and exhale 1/2 of the original hit through my nose while still finishing the 2nd hit Sherlock style.
One the battery protection kicks in again, rinse & repeat.

I am glad to see more folks figuring this stuff out. I have been tweeking my personal e-vaporizer for a couple of years now, and have a pretty good system figured out. Glad to see you working with solids, and oils. I was at first trying to come up with a glycerine tincture but kept having bad reactions to the VG and PG vaping. I found it worked much better under my tongue than in the atomizer. Down the rabbit hole I went. Anyway, I don't want to steer away from your product here, just giving you kudos for sticking with it and finding better ways. I know it also helps for the technology to keep advancing. I stepped out of the loop for a while, and recently looking back in to see what has been changing. Keep up the good work guys and gals! :D

Oh ya we are, our cartridges cant be match with anything out there, The omicron cartridges are still the most efficient ones, 400+ hits off of 1 gram, and still keeps on going. The newer versions will last longer.

2 weeks later after getting my Omi...

Holy shit! I haven't smoked or payed for weed in 2 weeks. Really? (Rubbing my eyes). I normally smoke ALL DAY. And now Ive stopped. I had a similar effect with my VHW wand, but I kept knocking it over it costing 100 bucks and week wait each time, sending me back to the smoke. (The room I smoke in is just too cluttered for such a masterpiece, though IMO nothing can ever taste as pure as a VHW)

After playing around, I have concluded, Scientific has his shit together and my money is far better invested in his research then fucking around with nasty mods.

Also let me mention, my first cart was slow, and 2nd leaked - he send me 2 extra with my 5pack. Fucking A+++++ service. No prob with carts now.

So, I'm a bit confused about the Persei. Is it available now and does it use standard Omi Carts? Should I wait for the herb cart to get one just to be sure the latest version is ready for them? Let me know, your product and service has earned my gratitude and faith.

A couple 2-3 second primes and its raring to go. I am still trying to get myself to put down the Omicron once I have taken 3 -4 good pulls but I love hitting this thing.

I know. Talk about addicting. I really prefer the Omicron at the end of the night and you just need a couple more hits before turning in. :)

I do the same man. Last night a few hours after I medicated with a bowl of White Fire I hit the Omicron and was able to catch some good z's. I like the fact you can use it to get a quick hit on the go or to really get medicated with.

Remember that the actual vapor you breath only utilizes the tiny channel down the center as a path for the vapor to flow.

What I can't figure out is how you can load so much oil in there when the heat coil is at the top... that doesn't have the same wicking set up as it would for a liquid, so when you load the oil, does it drip down under the heat coil housing or does it stay on top? Also wondering why you only get one use out of a cartridge? Does loading that much oil in at once essentially over work the coil so it ends up failing? I have been using my home made devices for bubble hash with excellent results, and still have the same heating elements I have been using for over a year now. I'm not trying to instigate trouble here, just wanting to understand and add to the improvement of this technology. I have devoted quite a bit of time, money and trial and error in my own quest for this kind of portable device over the last couple of years as many others have as well. If I had a good source for oil, I might be willing to buy this product.

a lot of times one cart isn't only one-use

it depends on the consistency of what you're loading, how you're hitting it, and how much you're loading at a time.

if you are loading half grams of runny oil (puregold) you'll likely not burn the cart out even after a few loads.

a full gram of shatter on the other hand...will require a lot more work for the heater.

Hey got the omicron today. I loaded the cartridge exactly as specified, tested the cartridge first before loading it (pretty simple and hassle free) and followed the instructions exactly but I have yet to draw one drop of vapor. I feel like I just threw away 1.5 grams of killer wax between 2 cartridges . Any suggestions?

Try gently heating up the top 1/3 of the cart to get that wax moving down. Make sure you don't overheat.

well, that makes sense, the more liquid the oil can get the better for the life of the coil. I suspect the reason my coils are lasting as long as they are, is there is just enough oil residue from the bubble to keep the coil lubricated, and when the bubble is fully used up it leaves behind a fine white powder which can be blown out so there is little residue clogging it up. They were intended to be used with liquid after all. I also suppose user error and over use/heating, can also factor into the life of a cartridge, as well as the lack of quality control that seems consistent across the board on ALL of the parts I have tried and tested, from many different sources. :cool:
