Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Hey everyone, my omicron came today.
I just had a quick question about how much I can put into a cart.

I only have 0.29g of BHO right now (I'm doing another run early next week), which I have loaded into a cart using the awesomely easy to use fill tool.
I know 0.5g is the reccomended minimum load, but is that just for better hits, or to prolong the life of the cart?

I've already done the initial prime, so I know there's definitely enough oil in there for the cart to work, but I'm happy to wait till next week if I'm gonna damage the cart.

I'm pretty sure your not damaging anything, these carts are tougher then you may think. So enjoy your omikronic weekend.

When you purchase a Omicron, you need to have carts enroute as well. Fred, I would fire it up a few times, if you haven't already. But only a few times. Vito: Awesome video.

Hey guys, been lurking here for quite a while. I might even have made an account once and forgot about it LOL.

I got my omicron yesterday in the mail, courtesy of PlanetVape. Just wanna say how good these guys were, really went the extra mile.

As for the omicron, I filled it up yesterday with 1 gram of some QWISO I made. However, it seems either there might be an issue with the cart, or the QWISO that I made does not seem to be compatible.
At first I thought I might have leaking issues when using QWISO, but it seems I can barely get it to melt in the cart to produce any vapor at all. I have to prime it a lot to get a little wisp of vapor. It did actually produce a lot of vapor at first, but only the first few hits, and its been downhill since then. Cart weight is still almost the same..
Any idea why this happened ?
I'm going to try to make some BHO for the omicron if the iso aint gonna work, but I wanted to use the iso first since it is obviously way safer than using butane.

Until then, I'm gonna keep usin the trusty volcano, but I wanna get the omicron to work 100% asap since even now I love the liberty it gives me.

If i was to buy the single battery package would you consider adding 1 extra cartridge to my order, coming from the UK i dont have access to concentrates like you guys so a whole pack of 5 cartridges, i think would be overkill for me.

Omicron will get herb cartridges, they might sometimes over cook your herb, trying to fix this now. If we can fix it then they will get it.

The Persei will get the 8.

So with the PERFECT filling tool... I am now using my Omicron as my daily driver...and I must say: WHAT A REVOLUTION!

I will do a in-depth review with the usual template I use this week-end, I SWEAR!

@Msb: Same here, ubicated in EU so BHO and concentrates are not available easily! Therefore I opted for the DIY solution. Best way to be sure you've got the best final product and pretty effective & economical if you ask me!
BTW, check your MP's as I might be able to help on the Omicron sourcing for your location!

I don't know your situation, of course, but if you think there's a chance you might somehow get concentrates even a few times over the years you might want to reconsider this. I think most guys rapidly get to the point of having a couple of carts in service, each with a different concentrate. Since you can't drain them down to zero, you're sure to get a mix otherwise. Not that there's anything wrong with that from a medicating point of view, but it does mess with the enjoyment of the new strain. Given the relative low cost of the cart (against the concentrate) and the plus of having an assortment to 'play with' I think it makes sense to have a few spares?

Seriously I have done 5 different concentrates (pretty big batches from different strains and bubble hashes) and they are ALL performing 5 stars!!! No leaks no clogs , visual THICK vapor after 5 sec., taste, effect at every hit... I'm in LOVE!

How do we go about ordering a persei, if one still available?
