Oh wow I didn't know eclipse h2o's were included in that trade-in deal.

So just to clarify If I was to send my eclipse h2o kit in, case and all (actually one of the vapor whip deals broke, the 14mm one if that makes any difference, but I have clean vials) I can get an omicron battery, cartridge and charger/case for 25 + shipping?

yes

Wow, even though I love my Eclipse, part of me is very tempted.

The question was asked a bit before and I'm curious now, is the Omicron made in China or elsewhere THC Scientific? Is there a diagram or description available of how its heating element functions?

The Omicron is made in China yes. No diagram on how the cartridge works. It is a two chamber system first chamber makes the concentrate liquid enough for the wick to soak up and the second chamber is the vaporization chamber. This design is brand new, but with the leak proof cartridges this changes greatly as total redesign of the inside.

Thanks for the instant and informative response THC Scientific.

Do we have a comprehensive list of models which are accepted under the trade deal? I found this page but there's no details as to what will fly and what won't. http://www.delta9vapes.com/products.php?product=Omicron-Trade-in-Deal.- I have access to a joytech Ivape is why I ask.

Anything that was marketed as a extract or flower vape. No nails or whips attached to a nail.

What's a vaporstar and ez vape? There is so many out there that its really hard to keep track anymore.

THC SCIENTIFIC,
Don't you waste what seems like an hour of everyday thumbing through old FC articles? Guess that's just me.

The vaporstar is an inexpensive (25~) lighter powered vape made in America. http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=97

The EZ vape is a generic, made in China box vape which has become highly prolific and is available online for say 50 and in stores for up to 180.

I guess you did not read my response to your post, but ok.

Haha you're right I missed it. Very good points, and honestly based on what you brought up I have to say that you're right. I was looking at the price of e cigs from a lot of online companies and didn't consider that most of these companies are just guys in their homes shipping out products they order from China. And you're right, with those companies it's not like they have to cover the majority of the expenses you listed.

So ya know what? I appologize. You're right, taking your costs into consideration the price isn't much to complain about. It's cool that you are allowing people to trade in other vapes at such a significant discount.

errl thank you for understanding, as being the leaders in the industry and the company that started it all, what this means is our research budget is huge, while we try to bring new innovations to the community, others just sit there and copy what we do, this means they dont have the research costs as we do and they will be cheaper, but one thing they wont have is the quality, innovation, and the customer service.

Please support the companies that actually do invent something new not the ones that copy.

Ok lets clear it up. they have to be portable battery powered, and marketed to the extract and flower community.

THC SCIENTIFIC,
That would narrow the now short list to the Solo, MFLB, Zico I-torch (yuck), Vapir Mini and NO2, Minivap, and the motley crew of glycerin-based oil E-cigs. It would also include the Mivape and Vaporblunt, but they're neither here nor there.

yes

You just said another user's Eclipse H20 would be accepted, that is not battery powered, it is flame powered.

You might want to put the "battery powered portable" proviso on your site, it's pretty defining.

What about the vape-or-smoke?

It is marketed as both a concentrate and flower vape.

Also with this new VV mod you're coming out with I have to ask: is there greater risk of burning out a cartomizer using higher voltages?

I'd also like to know if the VOS counts, I'd probably trade mine in for a high tech new vape like the Omicron.

Again, you should put a list of acceptable vaporizers up on your site ASAP, THC scientific.

Ya there is so many that it would not even make sense. Plus i like to converse with everyone.

For you guys ill do Vape or smoke.

But isnt vape or smoke a good device?

THC SCIENTIFIC,
It's a mixed bag, you can read about it over in its thread. I personally think the flame arrestor needs to do a hell of a lot more "arresting" for herbal material, it's far too hot at the lowest lighter setting. As for oils, you either need to stack screens or use their atomizer, the construction of which was less than impressive when I saw it - basically a loose mess of steel wires which doesn't properly keep the oil in place. I believe one FC'er replaced the loose wire inside with a conventional stack of screens and reported better results.

It also has butane directly in the airpath, potentially to include uncombusted butane due to the way the gas begins to apply when you are drawing the mouthpiece upward. Basically, by design, you might be inhaling a very small portion of uncombusted butane with every hit... Scary. This is something I've never read anyone else moan about, but it always bothered me. Also, there have been members who have gone through like 5 lighters because the cheap, made in China jet lighter that is built into the VOS is really its Achilles' heel. Mine personally shows some spiderline cracks, probably from the freezing that occurs when you fill with butane, but that's all. I hear VOS is trying to find a domestic high quality alternative.

So I'm not a huge fan, It's a diamond in the rough which I don't see being honed much. Your company seems to be honing the living shit out of your diamond, coming out with constant improvements, which is far more encouraging.

So I will continue to ponder trading in the VOS for the Omi, but wonder if the Persei will just completely trounce it and I'll regret the decision.

VAPOLITICS!
Vape or Smoke is a pretty good device for concentrates, yes!
Your trade proposal are a blessing for the vape community and a very smart move as I believe numerous vaporist want to discover novelty and switch frequently from a vape to another!

My hash BHO (0,7g) is still running PRETTY hard in my Omicron! Really a pleasure to use.
BTW, I have been saying to DubC for months I was sure you were working on new cartriges for flowers... I love being right on that sort of guess

Thank you for your responses.
So the carts are refillable but eventually they will break, right? Is there a way to clean them so the waxes dont mix?

Lastly, how is the smell? Is it as stealthy as a mflb?
