Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I just took my Pure Gold out and noticed some leakage. Do you just clean it up the best you can were the heating elements meet? That sucks. 76 degrees in during storage...didn't use that heavy either. Maybe, I'll try shorter puffs next time.

Can I still try to use my Pure Gold cart (hitting lightly) or empty cartridge to salvage my $40 before it gets messy?

You can salvage the oil, but i have no issues with it, or the others that i pesonally know that have tried the gold. We have tried over 10 gold cartridges in house this week and none have leaked. The leaking accures with the black oils.

also the gold team just started to test 5 cartridges, and have another 100 tests next week, then another 1000 before they start working with us. We will address this for sure.

My gold was nice and light :-). So that means I shouldn't try it again once it leaked?

Where all the cartridge 5packs manufactured at the same time/lot? Just an idea...no need to answer.

I've had carts ooze a dozen times and still work fine. A little seepage is not the end of the world. you clean it up with a qtip and some iso.

I had a lot of problems with leakage. Finally though with tremendous help from DubC we finally figured out what my problem was. I was getting better but still having problems with lots (and I mean Lots of concentrate oozing out the bottom and clogging everything up).

The answer was the total opposite of what everyone including G kept saying. Everyone kept saying your hitting it too hard. Its the dark oil. Actually the real issue was I was hitting it way way too SOFT!!!!!!!!!!!!. I wasn't pulling on it hard enough to even pull the vapor out of the chamber and it was just filling up.

G had told me when I first talked to him if I can hear air flowing through the device your pulling to hard. Actually that turns out to be the opposite. If you can't hear air pulling through the device (slightly, not a loud whistle) you may not be pulling hard enough.

I've been testing this out thoroughly and I'm happy to report. 0 issues since DubC finally figured this out. Thanks for your patience. I'm finally to the point where everyone else has been. I've been working on my technique and its improving but I still can't compete with DubC's clouds. He's the master of sippin the omicron

Dunno if any of this will help you tracy but I thought it was time to spill the beans as I what my problem with leakage and clogging was due to.

Everything helps. My only leakage has been the Pure Gold. I put the cart on it's side for now.

I hit the thing so hard the other day priming I almost passed out...lol....my with technique is timing when to push the button, start drawing,eg etc. Doesn't help having 5 different concentrates loaded.....haha

I'm getting better. My level of sedation right now proves it.

I have loaded five carts with three different oils all light colored and all have leaked . I am not overheating during fill. they leak and I have to clean the bottom of the cart daily. I also clog frequently that priming does not cure. But with some work I can usually get the carts going again. I got this vape for on the go but so far it is not reliable enough for me. But I do get some clouds when it is working. This thing is next level . Everyone who tries it loves it. Still trying to master it though.

your are exactly describing the problem I was having. I was not inhaling hard enough to vaporize the concentrate and it was collecting and leaking out the bottom.

iso and a paper clip (gently) can clean out the clog and get you going again.

I've been battling this problem since I got this thing but finally I'm issue free. Certainly not saying thats your issue but you might you might consider checking it out. best of luck.

I am on Day 5 , medicating with the Omicron.
I have earwax, and some putties waiting, but still am using cartridge #1 with the thick black oil.
I will try the other semi solids when I get my order in of extra carts.
I am still trying not to be so hesitant to suck hard enough to "pop" open the air path while priming.
The thick oil I am using does not seem to want to prime the "no suck" way.. and even after a dozen battery engagements, still requires a hard suck (with a resultant "pop") before there is any air flow,
After the "pop", and the thing is going, on this day 5 of that same gram.. my hits are dense, and good.
If I do hits back to back, I keep getting smooth flow, but if I wait more than 10 seconds... I need to do that one "pop" again.
There is no sign of seepage anywhere (I do also work with Ecigs in the Community, and have a very complete ecig service/repair station). And I do check watching for issues.
I am becoming more confident in the lack of issues!

Omicron to medicate, especially for the worst nausea of the day.. the Morning Nausea.
Planet Vape had said that they had confidence in THC Scientific's product.
The product itself can be slightly intimidating at first to those that do not handle concentrates often.
This intimidation is a good thing... because it makes a new user approach things delicately.. and helps us to watch for issues and to find and share "fixes" or workarounds for those oils that may have too high a viscosity.
I am going to agree that this product is an effective device with which to medicate.
The size of hash oil hit is adjustable, but not infinite, which allows one to trickle in just enough meds to stop the ill feeling without getting any more affected if one does not wish.
Hash oil being more concentrated, it takes only a couple pulls to help in many situations.
I waited till I used the same gram of oil for 5 days to decide.
I love this device!
I approach maybe 60 hits taken from the Omicron on one gram of hash oil. No top off.. no alternate cartridge used.
I keep my Omicron in the Jar you see here, to prevent myself from letting the Unit lay flat.
Here it is sitting at my e-cig repair/service station. I just take that jar with me, at night and set it near the bed.. and I can locate it easily in the dark!

That jar fits in the cars center console totally enclosed, and I can set it on a cofee table to for easy access.
I already would not be disappointed if this Omicron's run of 5 days ends soon, but I look forward to seeing if this gram will get me to that 100th hit!

I had a problem yesterday. i finally filled one of my cartridges with the nitro wax but nothing happened. I primed forever and tried to get my vapors in but nothing happend at all. i was literally stumped..it wasnt overfilled nor was i sucking too hard. i could be pretty sure i wasnt doing anything wrong...finally after 2 hours of trying to get it to work (cleanin the cartridge,airhole,priming,etc..) i decided to empty it out and try it in another cartridge..after making a mess and losing some nitro wax i finally got it going..in another cartridge of course...anyone have an idea what happened? IMO i think i was one of the unlucky few that got a "dud". i was alittle sad that a cartridge was wasted so i really wanted to find out what went wrong...i opened the cartridge and saw nothing out of the ordinary?..oh well :/ it happens to the best of us i guess..

It could just have been a dud and you did the right thing by recovering your extract to put into another cartridge. That is why the cartridges are buy 4 get 1 free, the free one covers any duds in the pack and if non are duds, you get a bonus.

We always recommend to test a cartridge first, before filling it. Just attach the empty cartridge to your Omicron battery and hold down the power button while looking down the air hole. You should see the element glowing brightly and feel the base of the cartridge start to get warm.

So much info sucking to hard not sucking hard enough stick a needle in the hole don't stick anything in the holes. It is hard to decipher the best moves. Detailed instructions would be great. Still loving the omicron. vaped a couple grams of oil already. Still not mastered yet. Thanx to everyone 4 contributing to this thread. More info the better.

Question for Vito and anyone else with info I have not vaped much oil I have never liked Ti swings or nails or oil domes dabs and the such I always coughed too much. Have any of you vape only peeps noticed oil being harder on your lungs and throat. I used the omicron exclusively for 5 days (being my new toy) and had to take a break because oil seems harsh on me. The Omicron does not make me cough but does take its toll after a few days. I took a couple days off and It does not affect me if I use it a few times a day or on the go . Any oil heads have any similar issues. I love oil now that I have the Omicron. The effects are so different and stronger than flowers. I have not felt so quickly medicated with any other vape. I guess it makes sense since oil is so concentrated.

I seem to only notice in my friend that she coughs alot when using it..i want to believe that is depending on the quality of the oil. i dont cough much because i pace my hits but every now and then i do take my crazy rips.. Have you tried any wax or anything else? I did however notice that my nose gets weird and wants to sneeze when i vape..hahah..but that also happens when i use my Volcano.

I used a small glass hash oil pipe back in 1969....
I never cared much for hash oil, although I spent MUCH time ingesting hashish from the middle east.
The dabbing, and the skillets just annoy me, and feel a bunch of paraphernalia that needs to be cleaned and put away.
The Omicron has made using oil more appealing, and given concentrates a place in my life.
I can not answer about the harshness. I use the Omicron for a dozen hits a day for a specific situation, so it has not given me any harsh feelings at all.

How does everyone reclaim their oil and/or waxes when things go wrong? I haven't seen a video on that yet. I've been using a funnel and lighter to fill...sure hope I don't need a hot plate. I was able to let the Pure Gold leak out overnight. I've been puffin on what's left in the cartridge all day and it's working good. Tomorrow is Test Day...using this thing to it's intended purpose...wish me luck. I wish that Pure Gold didn't leak...oh well...guess it's Sour Diesel instead.

I had one day were I couldn't get the XXX to prime...gave up and got myself over medicated via another device I went back to it later...just hitting the button repeatly until I saw vapor then I started drawing....much better. Maybe the product needed to heat up and settle and then get reheated to hit properly? It's the ex-bookkeeper in me....walk away from the problem then go back later

To answer another question:

I got the Arizer and Omicron to stealth vape and to start protecting my lungs by vaping. My tolerence has grown and I have to smoke way to much high end flower to get medicated enough. I've always added hash on specials occassions.

Concentrates are new for me too. Much harsher in my lungs with Omicron when I take a huge toke. Does make me cough, but then I don't smoke as much either.

I'm new to dabbing.....niceeeee....can't wait to go back to Medex when I'm not in a rush to run errands. I am not getting a home rig! My hubby would flip. If it doesn't go in a bowl with flowers or in my Omicron, I don't need it.

So I like oil, and iam thinking of picking one of these up as a birthday present to myself but iam also on a tight budget. I allready own a couple of domes and an essential pipe, so I don't need this. Should I take the plunge? I love my dome but its not really portable, and its to hard for me to take small dabs if I have to heat the nail up anyway. I like the idea of the cart filled with 1 g lasting up to 400 hits. Id be impressed with 200 actually. But I don't like the fact that they are not reusable. Will empty carts be available for retail locations to carry? I mean besides compassion clubs because I'm not in a med state.

Good to hear.... I have to report I put the omicron through its paces last night. We went to a concert at shoreleine ampitheater sitting down front in the reserved section. Not a place I would normally blaze openly. too many lights, too many security and some people just get mad. I hit the omicron all evening. at least 60-80 pulls. No Clogs, No Leaks, just amazing hits all night. no one complains and even thinks twice. I hit it out in the open by the bathrooms and right in front of security and no one cares. I'm not sure most folks even know what an e-cig is never mind a THC e-cig. Amazing, that won't last but for now its totally stealth and totally portable. I brought some other medicating devices and never felt the need to use them. A++ on suitability last nights outing. hope it works out tailgating today.

Using The Omicron by THC Scientific, from PlanetVape to medicate...
I am not using my Omicron recreationally.
I may some day.
This is still about learning, so I am limiting my usage of the Omicron to debilitating morning Nausea.
Funny... I typed "HIS": name with a capital N... and then while I typed it (you could not see this, of course) .. I looked guiltily over my shoulder... for fear that the Beast would notice that I invoked his name.
The same gram of black hash oil is in the Omicron, on this 6th day. It takes me about 10-15 pulls over the period of the first hour, to get me over the morning horror, and then I am able to start my day.
Using the Omicron strictly as a medical device, each day the cost of medication for morning nausea becomes absorbed by time and usage.
I paid $60 for this gram (at a discounted rate).
So today my cost of medicating pleasantly, and without pharmaceuticals went down to only $10 a day.....
and on my gram of Black Hash oil.... I am at approximately 75 medicating hits over these 6 days.

Here is another Pro Tip to try: When using the Omicron every time in the traditional button facing up orientation, your extract over time as it warms up will tend to stay in the one area, by gravity. Try your next set of hits with the Omicron oriented button down, this will give you some bigger hits.

Vitolo - loving the log, and glad it's working for you!

I was successful with my first outing tailgating. I was a little shy and did have edibles with me. I did pull it out in the open when the grills and cigaretts started giving me a headache. Reason I medicate in the first place. I just like to relax a little too. Tried it once in the bathroom too during the game....wigged myself out and put it back.

Next weekend is Bridge School concert on Saturday and tailgating again on Sunday...woohoo!

Day 7
Time for a review of the OMICRON by THC Scientific, which I acquired from PlanetVape

On this 7th day of using this device specifically as a medical tool, I took my 100th hit medicating.
I wake early from Spasticity, and I know beyond doubt that I will soon become violently sick to my stomach. I do know the approach of the Beast, however.... I can sense him lurking, and I can smell his foul breath.
"I know you are here Monster"...... and I reach for the Omicron, at bedside, in it's upright holder.
Confident now, after a week with how many times it will take to prime... I begin the ritual...
Almost like a mystical medeival formula..... I touch the button repeatedly..... and I am ready.
Filling the cartridges is not hard at all, if patience is employed.
Ones first attempt to fill a cartridge will seem hard because you will likely be very anxious to get that 1st taste.. and nervous about waste.
The instructions are a tiny bit intimidating... when it comes to the priming....... BUT.. this is not overkill... because this does make us cautious, after that first nervousness....
And I believe that the Omicron merits that nervous caution, when learning to use it.
If a 60 year old man, with spasticity, and limited use of 1 of his hands can do it, almost anyone could!

I think most of you here know me.
You all know I am quite the opposite of wealthy.
I just bought a set of cartridges, not knowing when the next time would come that I might be able to have hash oil......

I already tested all 5 and they are all perfect.

I am mostly a fan of fresh green flowers.
The fact that would buy a set of cartridges knowing these things about me should be review enough!
I will use the Omicron as I can keep the carts filled, in the mornings.
