Montell Williams Dispensary

Has anyone been to the new dispensary Montel Williams is part owner of ? It sounds really nice and upscale flat fee fer meds and on-site lab to test all meds..

But Williams, 54, said he felt dispensaries were not up to snuff. His new dispensary resembles a doctor's office where patients are vetted by a receptionist and meet with counselors. He hopes his dispensary, called the Albatin Wellness Cooperative, changes perception towards medical marijuana users.

Anyone in the Sacramento area been here yet?? Do tell..

Im on the wrong side of the country. But is he actually part owner? I heard he was just a spokesperson or something for the dispensary?

This sounds awesome. I do feel that quite a few dispensaries are lacking in professionalism and this could be a huge step in the right direction. I hope he opens one up in Colorado!

edit: Just found an article that says he is serving as a "consultant" for the dispensary, and that he plans on opening more in other states! Here is the link.

To me, that implies he is out to support the entire industry, not just himself.

Will all due respect, AG, I don't know if I'd call him a shill. From Wiki: "Williams has openly admitted he uses medical marijuana, stating it helps to ease his Multiple Sclerosis-caused neuropathic pain." I think he's also had a few episodes on his program where it was just an hour of speaking to medical cannabis patients about how it has helped them.

He has been a long term advocate...

on a lighter note i wonder if when you pick up he can be like Maury and say You are NOT the daddy.
