@ace-not sure, i recently read a post where arizer explained they have been tweaking the specs for different models.
read back a few pages & have a look.

So wait is the M106 hotter then? Perhaps my M105 runs too cool. I'm not sure how to take what was written in post 3828.

But before I meant about the battery life, but now i'm thinking about the temps. lol

Ace, the Vaplexus charts I believe Rufrothy was referring to is post 2099 on page 84 written 10-14-11. Those charts were done taking temp readings while Vaplexus was hitting the Solo. I don't know if that chart answers your question but it might help.

If you look back a bit in the thread, it was discovered that "dirty" solo stems can be used as ghetto Eclipse Vaaps. You can put a "dirty" stem into a 14mm bong and vape all the goodies with a torch. I think Charliedontsurf was the first to discover this senridipitous finding. :brow:

I agree with Stu, there's gold in them stems. Torch it, puff it, reclaim it, use the hi-fat milk trick for the best hot chocolate you will ever have.

You're welcome Stu. Have a cup on me. Ever since I read that in a post way back about page 75 or so months ago I make me my special hot chocolate that makes me all...comfy. It makes me cringe when people just toss it away. It's good shit.

My shorties do not accumulate much resin with less glass surface to gather the goow.
Does that mean I am getting more medicine with the shorties? With the long bent stem acting a bit like a filter in catching resins.

The buildup occurs too slowly to have any meaningful impact imo. But technically speaking, yes, yould be getting a tiny bit more medicated with less surface area for the vapor to condensate.

FWIW-I have killed 2 stems by not heating them up evenly with my torch lighter & having them crack, then shatter.
For my money, I feel soaking them in ISO, then reclaiming the ISO & then just washing out the remaining crud the ISO didnt lift is a better option for me.

still yet to try the cannachino, maybe when winter arrives.

Ape, I think you are right. You is getting the goo where it needs to be...in you!
In my 2 hole bents the oil tends to accumulate mostly right around the bend becoming much cleaner out by the end of the tube. While I'd rather the goo go where it's going to do the most good, I'm very happy making me up a cup...which I'm doing right now!

As I said in a prior post I soak mine in a small amount of ever clear, either that or vodka. And then I mix that with my ABV juice, maybe some resign... Just toss something in each day, pretty soon you have a potent mmj stew going...

This Vape totally blows!!! So bummed. I have an original Arizer Extreme(before the Q) and love it. I thought Arizer was synonymous with quality.I guess Id be wrong. I just returned my Solo for the following reasons: #1 Well for starters( and I see that others have had this issue) my glass mouthpieces didnt fit. Not only would they pop out with nothing to secure them to the bowl, the loose stem actually hinders a quality vape hit since cool air is getting around the perimeter of the glass piece in the bowl instead of up from within the heating element. #2 What! No Screens??!!?!? The holes on these mouthpieces are massive-I constantly got a mouthful of dried herb.This is especially true if your bud is super dry(as it should be) prior to grinding, because dry bud will grind finer, resulting in more material through the holes in the stem. Screens are absolutely CRITICAL!!!! Especially if you feel the need to take a forceful pull on the vape to expedite the head change. Im blown away that Arizer blew it so hard on this vape. It fucking BLOWS. Can anyone recommend a more quality unit?

ISO really cleans rather slow even when shaking daily. There are better alcohol based products out there that will clean a stem in a flash and then requires a thorough soapy water rinse and dry and you are good to go. The drawback is that the various thinners etc is that they do a great job of cleaning but can not be consumed-thus not a good alternative to ISO just faster.

The Everclear I have not used and so I'm not sure how long a stem would need to soak to get it clean.
I guess you have the choice then of drinking it or letting it evap into oil.
