I'd say my zap is comparable to vaping in the solo on 4 maybe. Somewhere in the 380-385F range, if i had to guess. The ABV comes out tan, sometimes with that orange-ish color, unlike the chocolate brown shade the solo can achieve at higher settings.

after putting screens in 4 different stems, i can definitely say that the new 4-holed stems are significantly harder to install screens in than the two 2-hole bent stems i got with my original ceramic solo. Its like the 4 hole stems are deeper and have a gradual slope/taper towards the bottom of the bowl that makes it hard to get the screen to want to stay down around the bottom as well. still doable though.

Thanks a lot for that comparison. I'm afraid a CRZ wouldn't do it for me then. Have you tried your Zap on 13V or higher as well?
I had the same experience when putting a screen in a new 4 hole straight stem btw. I tried a screen that was cut in to size for a old 2 hole stem but couldn't get it to fit until I made it just the tiniest bit smaller.

There ya go , you got it , dont forget to vent the bottom of the can or the solo itself will get mighty hot on temps over 5

Re: stealth pop cans. Kerns 100% Mango juice eh. Mango's are potentiators for edibles. Not sure they will do anything apart from the digestion process but worth considering.
Using my 1.5 inch tall cut down stem is just the thing for more stealth. I want to buy a few stem caps so I can roll with pre-loaded shorty stems in my case. Loading and unloading stems on the roll can be a bitch-rivaling texting as a distraction.

look at how the solo is constructed , it is in two sections . The top part is the heater , the bottom is the electronics . Each section has it's own set of vents , and does not vent within the unit between the 2 sections . By not letting fresh cool air to the bottom vent you will eventually fry your unit . It's no different than not properly venting your laptop only at a much higher temp and probably faster . Experiment with a full session (one in the can , one without) how hot your solo gets at different temps . Notice how the heat distributes though the unit differently . With all the bitching about stinky solo's Im fortunate I dont have that problem and I dont want to encourage it by frying electronics . I like my solo and i dont want to fuck it up.

I went out the other week for lunch & drinks & decided that the solo might prove to be hassle to use in the toilets of the venue. ( I have no idea why, other than the fact we didnt bring the car)
So, in my wisdom I decided that jelly hash was the go. ( I have no idea why)
what a PITA, Im a moron.
fucking gooey, black sticky shit went everywhere. and me sparking up my torch lighter in the echo of a bathroom & coughing as I hit the hash was the noisiest, most suspicious thing I have done for a bit.
I swear I channel Inspector Cloueseau on a regular basis, I was using my solo stem as a hash pipe & touched the tip & burnt my fingers which made me drop the stem onto my leg ( I was wearing shorts, aussie summer). Which then proceeded to burn my leg as I jumped in the air screaming 'fuck thats hot'.
I caught the stem just as it was headed for the floor, I then proceeded to juggle said hot stem for bit ala hot potato.
So, I packed my stuff up & beat it out of there. There were 3 gents looking at me strangley as I exited the cubicle, yet no one said a word as I splashed cold water on my lower thigh & hobbled my dumb ass out of there.

i must thank you for breaking your potpourri bowl first
i took your words about it busting on you to heart, and all i did was use the diamond tipped bit to score a notch into it, then took the smallest drillbit i could find, and used a hammer to gently smash it through the scored area.
PERFECT!!
i now have the useless potpourri bowl modified to use as a stem for vaping.
ive not used it yet cuz i got no bud, but im pretty sure the draw on it will be tight

I'll try not to ramble. Been gone for a few pages here but really loving the setup on my Solos and I have been trying hard to wear them out but that not happening. I have been busy restoring an old Mustang so I was doing the fall rush (yard car house) to get ready for winter here in the states.

lol same. the funniest part is that because of the avatar i imagined it happening to Bubbles
the only thing i could really see myself using in a public restroom, or other public place, would be the LB (and i have many times
). even tho the solo is a portable i kinda just use it as more of a cordless around-the-house vape. but thats only because of the oppressive society most of us are unfortunate enough to exist in. if the legality of things wasnt an issue i'm sure i'd feel differently about toting around the solo and its delicious-smelling, honeyed up stem.
