2) Some kind of 18mm male adaptation. This is currently up in the air as
there is no 'standard' interior diameter for these GonG pieces, so your milage may vary from brand to brand and from piece to piece. Some options/ways of doing things are:
hacking a
vapor tamer mouthpiece [also from silversurfervap.com] which you may be buying one of anyway. Maybe just buy a couple and hack the one you dont want ? Hacking something like

this (which i believe is what bwade wunner used) would do the trick. However, if hacking glass bits up isn't your thing,

3) The final requirement is a solo stem. The ideal way to go would be as bwade wunner and i have mentioned: cut the stem down so that it's just long enough to slip the GonG over it. I can't say whether or not this would work on the original, angled stems, because of the 'kink' in it contorts the shape, but if someone was willing to try, that would be great. Straight stems would have to be acquired directly from arizer or perhaps rockwise. Free or $9.99 plus shipping, depending on if you already have a straight stem or are willing to try it with an angled one, potentially rendering it useless, and buy a replacement.
4) Optional, but highly beneficial: a dremel of some kind to cut glass. Although one can use any old stem and stuff it into the male<->male adapter, that would be something like 8" long. Hacking the glass bits as bwade wunner has done makes things about 1.5-2" long i'd imagine, the bulk of which is the GonG which is going to slip flush into the female joint, making this thing in essence a Solo-compatible bowl for your bong/bubbler, just as much as it is a GonG stem for your solo. If that makes sense, lol...
