Single Servings

Anyone have any recipes for like 2-4gs of abv? Such as a cookie or a brownie that you could make like just for one person? thanks!

Second that ^^. 2.5gr in a firecracker was perfect for me, but not only is everyone's ABV of a different strength, even if they were the same, everyone's body chemistry is different regarding dosages and a lot of this has nothing to do with tolerance. You could take two people with the exact same tolerance and the same strength of ABV with same amount of food in their stomach and give one person 2gr of ABV in a firecraker and they'll get totally loaded, and another person can take 5gr of the same abv and not even get a buzz.

Everyone has to find their own sweet spot, but it is always advised to start low and work yourself up. For some, edibles just plain ass doesn't work. For others, a small amount will get them off.

is there a substitute for peanut butter? some people are allergic to peanut butter :/

Almond Butter might work as long as there is not a cross reactive sensitivity by the person who is allergic to peanuts. Yeah Nutella is also good, with the same caveat.

Actually Nutella on Ritz, wrap em in tinfoil and heat em up. That's probably the best, quickest single person ABV ingestion method I can think of. Tastes ok, but improves vastly with a drop of mint flavouring (not my idea, but I tried it and it works - almost hides the ABV taste. Sorry for forgetting who posted this, it is appreciated).

Actually, ABV on just a plain jam sandwich works, and is sweet enough to cover the taste completely.

Good call on the "cross reactive sensitivity", tdavie. I should have mentioned that. :uhoh:

Also, ya gotta read the label and sometimes it says it's made on the same assembly line as peanut butter, and if you're REALLY allergic to peanut butter, this could be just as bad as cross reactive sensitivity when it comes to stuff like Nutella or Almond Butter, ect.

by the by, the firecrackers I make are with Cinnamon Graham Crackers and Organic Peanut Butter baked at 320F in tin foil. Couldn't taste the ABV at all.

Take a gram of abv and a shot of vodka, let it hang out for 1-30 minutes, strain, use a garlic press to squeeze out the goodies. Then shoot it. Search for swamp water for more info.

when i cook with my ABV, its usually a single serving (1-4 gs) for myself, i like to make ABV infused oil which is extremely simple, and can be used in many different recipes. Usually i will convert a recipe to create a smaller batch and use however much oil is recommended, but a couple days ago i decided to just wing it, and used enough oil to completely saturate about a gram and a half of ABV, and then cooked a burger with the oil, even toasting the bun and onions in the ABV oil. I did not strain, though i hardly tasted the ABV due to the savory flavors, and i simmered the oil/ABV for about a half hour.
