Disposing of/ Moving vapes and glass

Hey guys I had a piece of glass that broke recently. I am a little apprehensive of just putting it straight in the trash, with all the magazines, and bills with my name on them that are also in my trash. I'm probably just being paranoid but has anybody had any experience with this?

Also, when I eventually move I want to be able to take all my glass and vapes, but I have a lot, and putting that stuff in a car and driving across state lines doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't worry about throwing your glass away, especially if it was clean. Do you generally have people picking through your trash?


As for travelling with glass, by the looks of it you're already in one of the toughest states around in terms of glass laws: keep the glass clean and safely wrapped up (bubble wrap inside a peanut filled box) and I don't see a problem. It sounds like your cautious enough to take the necessary precautions...

Can't speak on the first matter with any real certainty, but i don't think id worry about throwing out broken pieces....but, to be safe, try to break the piece into the smallest pieces, like ground glass, if possible...


While there are some inherent risks to traveling with Paraphernalia, these can be minimized in a number of ways. First, regardless of anything i write after this, they need to be clean, like soooper clean; glass, vapos, etc. Is it possible to legitimize your cannabis use, ie medical recommendation? If so, that would help majorly, but only if traveling within your state, or states with reciprocal med. Mj laws. If you cant get a recommendation, etc, then at the very least, having your paraphernalia clean will at least make the "its for tobacco use" statement less bs...meaning that if your use caution, not giving the po po a reason to oull you over, then automobile usage isn't out of the question...you could also ship the items, as ive heard that some parcel delivery companies are less than stringent with regard to glass/vapos, etc, being shipped.

All that being said, don't put all of your eggs in the same basket....however you choose to do this, if possible, do it in 2 or more trips or whatnot...so if something happens, you won't end out completely screwed...

Recycle!

You can always just toss it in someone else's recycling bin on garbage day. Just clean it beforehand.

Yea pennsylvania is a real bitch about glass, the governments "operation pipe dreams" (which is the operation that included tommy chong's persecution for lending his name to a glass distributor) started in pittsburg when they shut down two head shops there. Yet we can get guns with no waiting period, yea that makes sense.

Why are you putting anything into your garbage that has your name/address on it? Shredders are cheap.

but about the glass and vapes. I dont ever have a problem traveling with glass. Always do that when I fly somewhere, it just has to be COMPLETELY clean and wrap it up well.

as for the vaporizers, it depends which they are and if they can be cleaned.
you just have a VB? thats easy! just toss the tubing/hose and buy some fresh, clean the wand and mouthpiece, you get the deal, be very meticulous about cleaning.

same with all your other glass(which you should list along with your vapes )!

I only ever worry IF I am also holding herb, which is very rare.

does anybody else remember the satisfaction of smashing a piece of glass? (that was years ago)

anyway, you could always smash it to disguise what it was originally used for, or just to make it fit in a smaller bag

tests for finger prints cost money, and aren't likely to be done for illegal items found in the trash, but i'd use a public waste bin for anything really sensitive, and make them small packages, and make sure your finger prints aren't on the inside, etc.

Lol I think I'm just gonna put in in a bag and then stomp on it then throw it away. Its easy to get over-paranoid these days. Stupid chinese glass!

Best idea yet. Could be therapeutic! Smashing things is always fun! But what would be more fun, hitting the bag against a solid object, or hitting the bag with something like a hammer?

I've traveled internationally with cheap, throwaway pipes from when I used to blow glass. Not one raised eyebrow yet. Just make sure it's completely, virginally clean. As to the point of disposal, I recommend doing what VW said and smashing it as small as possible, and then also taking the time to find a random public trashcan to toss it into.

My last trip to Kuwaii ended up being fruitless, I ended up just having to gift it away on the last day to a Kayak tour guide who was very, very, emphatically happy to have it.

I vote for the hammer smashing! ban hammer coming down!

could give it a proper burial and even say a few words. perhaps grow some flowers on top of the site.
