It's hard to imagine anything being better than a Volcano Digital Vaporizer. However, I haven't actually tried a Purple Days yet, so my opinion doesn't really count for much. lol:|

So is the taste more flavorful on the PD versus the VD? That would be very important to me.

By the vary nature of bag vapes, their air to vapor ratio is higher than that in direct draw and whip based vapes, so in this light, yes, the PD is more flavorful.

But to me, with direct draw you'll get 100% of the flavors in the first hit and then an exponential dicrease (doesn't mean no more flavor, but faster alteration), with the balloon, as everything is mixed in a closed volume...you'll get the flavors "longer"... I'm not sure this is clear, damm I'm vaked!

Yes, PD is more dense flavor and bag is less dense. The PD does have best flavor in the first few hits. The PD shouldnt be that tight. It does make a big difference with how fine material is ground and how tightly its packed. I also removed my clips and replaced screen with a larger one crammed into the hole. It did provide better airflow. I think herb quality plays a factor also. The better the herb in the PD the better the results. While this proves true on any vape IMO, since the PD / log vapes in general, has such a small bowl, if you have top quality herb it will get you where you want, using less. I find if I want a relatively quick, manageable high, I use the PD. If I am going to be sitting watching a movie or something, I will use volcano. Anytime I have company that is sharing with me,, I prefer volcano or using both units. I have introduced several friends now to both units. Everyone prefers the volcano so far, but they are still inexperienced. It still comes down to "There really isnt just one that is the best at doing it all...." :2c: ;) p.s. sorry for all the commas haha
