Welcome to the forum @VapeMystic ! You got that collection down pretty darn good already. Happy vaping in these quiet days.

Thanks!
These quiet days have been a great chance to get reacquainted with cannabis. The vaping tech available now is amazing and delivers a much better experience than my preferred old method of rolling joints...which i really enjoyed...:spliff:
in Toronto, the legal options are good & free delivery these days.

Tried the Ms, enjoyed them, spent some time reading posts here and then just had to get the ti xl!
The lighter weight, improved feel of ti, added length, tip air flow and adjustable flow all combined, exceeded my expectations of how much better the OmniVap XL was going to be. Bonus is how well it works with the Apollo2.

At this rate, you may well be tauting a vortex, before you realize it.

I've just taken a combusted 18M from a friend to get the o-ring for my condenser. All o-rings are extremely smelly and iso didn't do the trick, has anyone a method to get rid of that smell of pipe ? I am worry that if i put it into my woody it would have a strong smoke smell :\

Seriously considered it...The simplicity of the design is great...Perhaps in the future...i mean probably...lol!

After you finally give in and GET a Vortex...

You'll be PISSED, you waited. :2c:

I gotta say, the more I use my 2020 M, the more I'm impressed with this little bugger! Love, love, love being able to throw a nug chunk the size of the chamber in and get 1 hit extractions w/ even, uniform, dark brown AVB. Also diggin' the gold patina of the tip vs the the sleek silver of the body. Awesome contrast! The body def has that aesthetic of "little brother of the Omni" visually. Wanna try it sometime w/ a reg cap and also a glass wpa like the strong arm adapter or one of ed's tNt.

Finally got a look and taste of the Ti tip. Came with the Ti CCD so that was first aim. Ti CCD's don't 'shrink' but they do fail at truly being a flexure like the stainless CCD.

Originally it had the nice concave appearance and I pushed it out to get to convex, of course. Put it back in and sure enough, now its loose in the bottom of the tip. Not only loose, but flat! Therefore I tried one of the grooves. Same thing, loose and flat. Took it back out and played with the edge pieces and got it to normalize a little. Now it spins in the second groove and holds fast when picking up a load from the stash. Quick ISO soak and off to the races.

Sure enough, the IH load of the Ti tip is not much different than the SS. On the first draw, I got a nice bountiful draw that was very satisfying. Subsequent loads were unremarkable. I can't remark on taste 'cause I can't taste much anyway. With the CCD in the second position and a '19 cap, this thing drew rather nicely.

I now have a ton of SS CCD's so that won't be an issue. I'd suggest to George to revisit the FEM model of the Ti CCD. The outer web deforms rather than deflects. That is why people have reported that the Ti CCD appears to 'shrink'. Just needs a more robust pattern.

I don't think the vortex is that good. Sure it's cooler initially, but if you do back to back bowls it just becomes another dyna stem.

While there may be some truth to that. I still enjoy the nice smooth finish and feel in the mouth. I find it fairly easy to find and use the carb hole, which is hard on my 2020M stem with so much machine-laser cuts going on an on for shine effects, etc. SORRY, i digressed, I also like there are ZERO stem orings to bother with, and the removable vortex inner coil condenser is easy to pull out and clean. So there are substantial differences besides the noted cooling effects.

Anybody got any idea how to clean the BB9? It’s all gunked up now but not really sure how to clean this.

on that point my new 20m needs cleaning also what can not touch iso?

This is my deep cleaning method for my M:

1. Pull everything apart, except the orings on the tip(just leave those on)
2. Set aside the cap and condenser o rings in a safe place.(till reassembly time)
3. Put the rest of the parts in a saucepan and cover with high fat milk, simmer gently for 10 mins.
4. Get a bamboo skewer and scrape as much resin as you can out of your milky dynavap pieces and put all that resin back in the milk.
5. Place your DV pieces in some hot water with detergent.
6. Grab some drinking chocolate powder(or Hershey's chocolate syrup) and add it to your milk in the saucepan, stir well then pour the milk into your favorite mug/cup.
7. Drink that hot chocolate while cleaning those dynavap pieces in the detergent hot water mix using Qtips and cotton wool.
8. Rinse and dry everything, then reassemble your DV.
9. Load your DV with a nice tasting strain.
10. Enjoy that vapor from your clean M, then sit back and wait for that milk to kick in.

For cleaning the BB9 I do up to and including step 7, then i soak and clean it in iso.
I'm careful to make sure I don't vary the temperature from hot to cold too quickly when cleaning the BB9.

Occasionally I will wipe the inside of my caps with a Qtip that has been soaked in iso if they need it.(they seldom do)

I said the same thing at first, then I realized I was clearing twice as much herb in 1 hit. (new toy = bigger loads and bigger draws). When I scaled the quantity of bud back down to my normal dose that's when I realized how much cooler it is. Then I started using my cotton filter inside the Vortex and all potential buyer's remorse was gone. I don't want to go back to a regular DV stem now. Is it overpriced, sure.. but my overtime money had to go somewhere!

I would think anyone unhappy with their Simrell, would have no problem selling it and not losing much.
