What's an efficient, durable, reliable home vaporizer?

Hi, I'm in the market for a vaporizer and I'm hoping to get some help with a decision. What I'm looking for:
1.Price: >$500
2.Efficiency: I want to get as much vapor as possible from my herb. One main reason I want to switch to vaping from smoking is so I don't go through my herb so fast.
3.Durability: I'm extremely clumsy so I don't want something I can easily break or has many pieces i will eventually lose or have to get replaced.
4. Reliability: I want a daily driver, something I can use all day every day. So I'm looking for something that will remain consistent for years and years and also isn't too difficult to keep clean and maintain
5. Desktop (mostly): From the last thing I mentioned, i want a desktop but i don't have much space. So I'd consider getting a portable if it meets the other criteria. But I'll mostly be using this vape at home
6. Quick, easy to use: I'm used to just packing a bowl and sparking up so I'd enjoy my vape a lot more if it was ready to hit very quickly and easily

I've only tried the Volcano Digit and Firewood. Firewood was cool but crapped out on me after 1 year. Volcano I've used at friend's houses and dispensaries. I love the Volcano and am considering getting the Hybrid someday. But for that price I could buy 2 vapes (Plenty and Mighty e.g.). I'd really like a desktop vape experience but i don't really have the space. So I'd like to get a Volcano, or Arizer EQ, or Evo but i don't have a desk or place to put it. This is why I'm seriously considering getting the Plenty because it seems to match my criteria. I'm just worried it isnt as efficient as I'm looking for, i really want my herb to go a long way. I'm also considering a portable like the Mighty or Crafty+ or Arizer Solo 2 but don't want to deal with batteries crapping out eventually. Because of quarantine, I'm just gonna be at home anyway but i could get a portable and just keep it plugged in at home but not sure how it'll stand up as a daily driver. I'm a heavy smoker. I'll mostly be using this vape for solo use but occasionally also with friends. I have a pretty high tolerance so i can handle large bowls but i am definitely looking for a heavy hitter. What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Thanks!

go with WS (300$). The wood is amazing, it has alot of power for its size, many stems, DynaTip + DynaCap also, the cover for the heater is a titanium one. I think it's the only one with a titantium cover, it's getting warmer and colder faster, and more durable than Stainless Steel. you will never run without a vape, even if you need to be on the go.

you actually pay 300$ for the 100% convection method (WS) and the conduction (Full Dynavap vape)
It is considered to be one of the strongest and effiecient vapes on the market.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, they all look like great choices but just wondering: have any of y'all tried the Plenty? What did you think? I don't know why, but I'm really leaning towards the Plenty for some reason. Also, not sure if i want a portable right now unless it can perform like a desktop and last for extensive daily use. And i also don't want to worry about breaking pieces (or especially dropping it)

If you are looking for efficient and quick and ready to go then that is not the Plenty...

The chamber is huge, although I never tried it with the reducer, and it takes a few minutes to heat up.

I recommend a log, as mentioned above. They are small and powerful and always ready to go after the initial start up. A perfect fit given your criteria.

I have a nano and an underdog. Both tough as nails, especially the nano. Woodscent looks awesome too and probably more durable with the wood stems and titanium tips. Can't go wrong with a log

E-Nano from EpicVape is well worth a look it hits most of your points.

Price is $200.00 US which I see as a bargain given the large number of lesser vapes costing more.

The Nano is as efficient as any vape on the market, a simple to use convection vape with a one knob control.

The vape is built like a truck, I have run the same vape daily for years, really for years and its never been returned for service.

Three are three major parts for this vape, the body, stem and cord hard to lose them and the glass stem is the most breakable part and I have only broken one of those.

It is indeed a desktop but it's minimal 4" tall 2" in diameter so it will tuck into small areas.

It is quick to use, I and many others let their vapes run 24/7 so it is always ready to go.

You gotta decide what you really want, is it the heaviest hitter or the most efficient?

What's your preferred method of smoking? Joints? Pipes? Bongs?

That will help people give you better recommendations. The log suggestions are a good idea, very small, durable, and efficient. But Vapes with bigger bowls can hit harder; depends on what you truly want.

Honestly, you've gotten a lot of great suggestions already. Without having more experience with vapes it's hard to say what you'll really like, it's very much an experimental process for many folks on here.

Almost there...
@JohnBongJovi

You need to decide what you want and narrow your variables down A LOT!
You mention the Plenty a lot and then you mention portables a lot but you want a desktop but have no space... Get what we see from this side?

So what do you really want?
You are not going to find a desktop experience with a portable vaporizer.
Big hits and efficiency require a desktop with the power to perform.

Do you like conduction or convection flavors?
How dark do you want your ABV to be?
How are you around exposed heating elements?

There are many options out there that will suit your requirements.
Think about what you really need and will use in your current situation. A portable may be the answer for now.

I noticed a lot of S&B products, so maybe go with a Mighty for now?

The E Nano looks kinda perfect for me. I might go for that, only thing that might bother me is having to refill it constantly because I do smoke a lot (all day every day) but it seems like a little goes a long way which is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm also a little worried I'm gonna break the glass stem but i guess i can just be careful for once

If you have room for one, a Flowerpot would meet your other criteria.

Flowerpot looks pretty sweet but don't want to rely on having a glass piece to use it with. Main reason why I'm looking for a vape is i just recently broke my 12th or 13th bowl piece and I'm sick of breaking my pieces and having to buy new ones. This is also why I'm a bit hesitant for anything with a glass stem like E-Nano or Arizer Solo. And also why the Plenty appeals to me.

You gotta decide what you really want, is it the heaviest hitter or the most efficient?

I really prefer efficiency but like i said i have a high tolerance so I'm looking for something that will still hit hard and satisfy as well.

I'm a bong/pipe guy and i like taking fat rips which is why I'm a little skeptical about something like the e-nano and why i wanted to go for something like the Plenty. But if I'm gonna save more herb with the nano in the long run, I'll probably go for that.

Then again, I probably won't break any pieces of the Plenty or Mighty... Kinda a toss-up between these three for me right now.

I see what you mean. I just really want a desktop vape (powerful, effecient, don't have to worry about battery) but i don't have the space for one. I do have space for something like the E-Nano or Underdog or Plenty. Which is why i mention the Plenty a lot cause it's kinda a handheld desktop so i don't need a counter or desk to put it on.

I'm new to vaporizers so I'm not really sure about conduction vs convection or abv color. As mentioned, I'm very clumsy so i am a little worried about burning myself constantly but i can adjust and work around it. I mention S&B products cause the Volcano is the only desktop I've tried. The Mighty looks like a great option, also a frontrunner.

Don't have the space for it but I'll probably buy it some day when I move

ha i was more just poking fun that your greater than/less than sign was flipped so it read that you were only looking for vapes that cost more than $500 :p

have any of y'all tried the Plenty? What did you think? I don't know why, but I'm really leaning towards the Plenty for some reason.

I have a Dynavap (plus induction heater), Plenty, Underdog, Mighty, Volcano Classic, and have a Wood Scents on the way.

Of those, the Plenty is my least favorite and will eventually be sold or traded away. I get vapor but it tastes kind of 'weird' (I don't know any other way to explain it and think it might be related to the stainless steel loop stem) and it doesn't seem to hit me all that hard. It's also kind of awkward to try and store. Oh not to mention it seemed to chew through weed for me, even while using the stainless steel concentrate pad thing to reduce chamber size and use smaller loads; definitely not the efficient vape you're after, at least in my experience.

I bought the Volcano last year when I was trying to switch back to flower from concentrates due to cost, it's very effective and I love mine. But it does take up much more space than any of the other options you've considered.

I bought the Mighty last year when I needed a vape to travel with, but not use in public. It's pretty great for a walking around the house vape. I enjoy it much more than the Plenty.

The Underdog is really nice but mine runs hot (I think due to the particular way mine was carved out on the lathe) and the Nylon-on-Steel WPA stem I have is pretty small so it feels like I'm not getting the most out of it, ABV comes out dark but hits are kind of small. I love love love the on-demand nature of it though, I can leave it on all day and whenever I want a hit, pack one and take it and be done in two minutes.

I'm in the honeymoon phase w/ my Dynavaps right now. I love how efficient they are yet still get me solidly high. I've been using them native and doing so feels like there's a natural "ceiling" to how high I get based on how my throat feels after a few caps (some phlem and wanting to cough) as well as the vape body itself getting decently warm. I really enjoy that it seems to be helping to train me to lower my tolerance too.

I'm very excited for the WoodScents because it seems to me like it will marry the best features of the Underdog/E-Nano/log vapes with the Dynavaps.

As someone else has recommended, TinyMight or Tetra would also be options that could probably satisfy you. They can both be run without separate glass pieces and are known to hit hard. I have no first-hand experience with them though and they're not the easiest to get a hold of.

Not to worry, this guy makes an almost bullet proof stem... https://edstnt.com/accessories/enano?product_id=64

The plenty is a much bigger hitter then the Nano, takes up more desk space, holds about four times the bud and I would have suggested it except for "I can easily break or has many pieces i will eventually lose or have to get replaced" my Plenty has many more parts than the Nano and I end up chasing them under the desk, too often.

Thanks to you and the others for putting me off the Plenty. Might get it as a 2nd or 3rd vape later on but probably not now. ENano or WS looks perfect for my first real vape (Firewood not counted). Might just get a portable like the Mighty, Tetra or TinyMight as 2nd then get Plenty or Volcano 3rd.

Trying to decide between the E-Nano and WoodScents now. Do you guys think the WS is worth the extra $100?

I own the Volcano 'digit', 'Plenty', 'Solo II', 'VapCap'

They All work great :smug:

The Volcano 'hybrid' would be great, but expensive and doesn't sound practical for You.
An Arizer 'Extreme Q' would probably do just as well and the remote is nice.

I absolutely love my 'Plenty' but it's probably not for You, too slow*
many don't realize how it works, like no other on the market?:sherlock:
also, the cord would make it too cumbersome for You?

I think the Solo II is the best all round vape on the market, No maintenance, power supply
is amazing, you can't go wrong unless capacity is too small, but you would never want to part with it.

The VapCap is a great little portable, simple, very sturdy, droppable? puts out 'clouds' for it's capacity,
A bit of a learning curve, using a lighter is brilliant, Everyone should own at least one!
But, if You want to get really high fast, just buy a cheap Chinese e-nail system:mmmm:

Just curious: which vape do you think is the most effecient? That is, Which one will make my bud last the longest and produce the best quality vapor and effect? If space wasn't an issue, I'm considering Volcano Hybrid, Evo, Solo 2, Plenty, Mighty, WoodScents, E-Nano etc

Log vapes are the most efficient but you are in charge of how many times and how much you load in a stem at a time. They are the most efficient at extracting small loads and making big clouds.

Volcano has the biggest chamber, same as Plenty. Both have reducers though I have found them not to be that good.

Mighty and Solo are about the same load size, around 0,1 to 0,2.

True, i feel like a Volcano or Plenty will make me run through my weed too fast. How does the Mighty and Solo stack up against log vapes like WS or Enano?

Anyways. I think I've pretty much decided on either ENano or WS because they will probably be most efficient, durable and reliable. I think I'm just trying to decide if i want to spend the extra $100 on the WS or just go for the Enano.

I received my WS today a day early! I'll have to let you know what I think after I get to try it out.

One nice benefit imo of WS over E-Nano/Underdog is you essentially get two vapes in one since it's Dynavap compatible -- Ed includes a dynavap cap with everything so you could use the WS stem+condenser with the cap as a regular dynavap.

You also have more wood choices that are more unique when purchasing a WS, as well as supporting a smaller manufacturer through some turbulent times, though I will admit I know nothing about how EpicVapes operates outside of knowing they're USA based and manufacture there as well. Ed's a pretty great guy I've gathered and his customer service is top notch. When I purchased a WS like 10 minutes later he called me on the phone since there was an option to discuss  Threw me off a little as it was 4AM my time but I really did appreciate the contact.

Nice! Please let me know how it is! I'm pretty close to ordering one myself right now. That wooden stem really appeals to me. I'd probably order the wooden stem for the ENano if i got that which comes close to $300 so i might as well get the WS.

sticky brick maxx with an vapexhale hydratube, .12-25g, huge clouds, $160 if you get it on discount, dhgate glass is like $30, from vapexhale is like 120+

if you got 500 to spend, newvape flowerpot (showerhead/vrod/weedeater) is very good at extraction, uses anywhere from 0.05 to 0.2g+ the only thing that can break is the controller and coil
