Wismec Sinuous Ravage for just under $25 shipped from China in three gaudy colorways (orange, purple, or blue/gold):

https://cheapvaping.deals/wismec-sinuous-ravage230-200w-box-mod-41-99

I'm sharing this here because I have one of my ZV2s on this mod running Red Panda and the performance has been great with very even avb plus the fastest first hit from a cold start of all my Zs. It's a bit taller than the rxg3d though, so in terms of ergonomics and stack height it's probably a better fit for a V1 or V2.

I purchased a splinter Z V2 (still waiting for it to ship) and I'm looking to get a water piece for it as I've read it can get very hot. I thought I read somewhere that it doesn't work well upside down, is that true? Should I get some sort of hydro tube or something like the mobius matrix sidecar?

Untrue, it works fantastic upside down, probably even preferable to right side up! (for keeping heater screen pristine) but you can also manage heat of vapor with your draw, aside from how you pack and what temp/power settings... The RBT cooling stems work great, and lamart also sells nub cooler and short spiky bent stem that should be the right size to fit as well... I'd also recommend a j hook or whip for great cooling without needing water, but of course going through water is great as well. Can't go wrong with a Matrix and the Pinnacle tube is great too!

Received my Custom Splinter Z today. Decided to get the more expensive version and added some accessories. First purchase from your company. My order included the cooling kit mouthpieces. I received the tall XL8R, but NOT the XLjr, shorter version. Also missing from what is listed as included on your site, the loading tool, the bag, and no invoice or packing list. Disappointed..... :(

Ah sorry man. Send me an email at ryan@rastabuddhatao.com and I will get those items and more out to you man. We are reviewing our www for accuracy and are adding in a packing list with the required items checked off. Thanks for the opportunity to improve!

So, please know that Cole has accepted a real job now that he has that college degree and his is moving on to the political realm working on a top secrete campaign (Congrats Cole). So, I am now the new customer service rep. Please email me at Ryan@rastabuddhatao.com and I will be happy to take care of any issue you might have.

Thanks to all for the continued support over the years and may you and yours all be safe both mentally and physically in these crazy days.

Oh Bossman, you have persuaded me to spend more money. I must say the last time I looked at this mod it was significantly more expensive. This is a great deal for just over $20. Just last week I ordered the Wismec Sinous Ravage because of your post. Prepare yourself for questions on how to operate these things. Time to order more batteries and perhaps another Splinter !!

Sharing this deal from the always helpful @Shit Snacks..

Wismec RX Gen3 Dual for at or under $30 direct from Wismec:

https://wismec.us/reuleaux-rx-gen3-dual-mod-no-battery.html

https://wismec.us/reuleaux-rx-gen3-dual-with-gnome-king-no-battery.html

Try code DANIELTHEVAPEMAN for an extra 15% off and if you're a crazy person (like me) you can get three for $51 since it meets the free shipping threshold.

As everyone knows, this is my first choice TC mod for the Splinter and Splinter Z.

Lucky guys over your side of the pond! No deal for me over in the UK! amazing deal though.

@VGOODIEZ

As most of you know, VGoodiez is a vendor that participates in many threads here. I posted this here, as a bunch of the 10 different products I purchased from them are for my new SplinterZ US Custom, as well as some Dynavap accessories, like the BB9. Everything I needed was in stock.

While I’m all for a discount, because of Covid, and it’s negative effect on the supply lines of everything, as well as deliveries and product availability, I didn’t want to wait for any 4/20 sales/discounts.

Got tired of reading how great this vendor is, so placed my 1st order on Thursday afternoon, 2 days ago, priority mail. Package delivered today. They must have friends at the post office, I never get delivery’s here this fast. Half my order was glass pieces, well packaged, no breakage, nothing missing, can’t say that for many of my online orders.

NOTES: My order included 18mm-14mm, 18mm-18mm Male to Male glass joints that work as water piece adapters for the SplinterZ US CUSTOM, these WPA’s are the proper 22mm depth and fit great. As well as a RBT bent mouthpiece, and a Lamart Nub MP. All of the above take a RBT rimmed basket. I took the rimmed basket out of my RBT Cooling stem, and it was a bit loose in every new glass piece. My enthusiasm dropped, ok, let me try a NEW basket...... DUH, they all FIT PERFECTLY.

(this was a question that has come up in the RBT threads, and in those older threads, Vgoodiez wasn’t 100% sure, and said they could be returned).

So obviously, the used basket was compressed a bit in the cooling stem, but new RBT baskets fit perfectly. I also grabbed 2 non rimmed baskets just for sandwiching options, they fit everything as well.

I realize a honest review usually contain some negative points, I honestly can’t think of any.
So, I’ll say the positive hype is true, I’ll make VGOODIEZ the 1st place I look when I need any vape products.

Thanks, stay SAFE!

Hey folks... a lot going on at RBT so I wanted to post the most recent newsletter here:

Greetings, I hope this email finds you safe and healthy ... calm cool and collected in this crazy time.

I would like to thank Cole for all his work handing Customer Service and shipping the first lot of Mi3 over the past six months. Congratulations to Cole in winning first place at the State College Business Competition as well as grabbing that Marketing degree! Cole has started a new job in the political world and working on a top secret campaign :) In the next few weeks order fulfillment will be transferred from Cole to Me. Moving forward I will be the point man for any customer service issue resolution and I am here and happy to help... but please be patient as we make the transition.

Please email me for anything at ryan@rastabuddhatao.com. I have started a Customer Care Log and every issue is being captured there until it is completed. Thanks to all for the patience over the past few months. Cole's work has allowed me to finalize the designs of the Seed, ZapCap, and ZipZap as well as start work with Futo on the new desktop and Mi3 / Splinter exotic. With these designs complete I am able to now completely dedicate my time to Customer Service. Moving forward no pre-orders will be done as they get complex, disorderly and delayed. We will be adding a form to sign-up for Advanced Notification and we will let these folks know first when the new designs are ready to ship. If it is a limited run and has a serial number as we did with Mi3 the order of distribution will be random. We have learned from the 'pre-order' days and I am happy to have gotten ahead of the curve enough to slow down to speed up :)

Other than missing a few orders and having some delays we shipped over 200 Mi3 to all you patient customers. As of today we have shipped up through the order date of 10/31/2019 (order number 4457) from the www store and will have the PayPal International orders shipped in the next two weeks. Units ordered after 10/31/2019 will be shipping in 3-5 weeks. We have confirmed the Mi3s are planned to ship from the factory next week and will take 2-3 weeks to arrive. The initial batch of units has has a high failure rate of the button so this may effect the shipment that is scheduled for next week. We will either be doing testing on the buttons so we can size up the problem. In the mean time I will test the few spare units that we have kept on-hand for issues likes these. I apologize for the delay as well as the issue with button failures. We have validated replacement buttons on-hand so if you experience any loss of power in your Mi3 suddenly... it's probably the button. The button defect is only present in about 2-4% of the units but it is better to resolve the issue at the source and contain the problem from spreading like a virus. This could simply be an anomaly that is batch contained rather than a continual problem. This is the first issue that we have with a button so we are confident that this is a situation that is contained and easily manageable. With all that said... Please email me if you are having trouble at ryan@rastabuddhatao.com.

In my time working with Cole I have been able to get his advice as a Marketing guy. RBT will take advantage of this down time to slowly retool the front end of the business which desperately needs some attention. I am really excited to get back in touch with all the people that have supported me over the years. We have a warranty and customer contact form being made for the www as well as revising the troubleshooting and FAQs on the web site. Please shoot me an email if you have any suggestions on how to improve the customer experience.

Lastly, RBT is honored to have been selected to be showcased by the Arcview group... the Shark Tank of the cannabis world. If nothing else this will but RBT in touch with a bunch of great contacts in the cannabis space and who knows... maybe Mark Cuban is in the market for a dry flower floral diffuser company? More than likely RBT will remain a one man show ... but ya never know.

Looking forward to a fun 04/20/2020! Stay lifted all.

Ryan

Finally got to spend sometime with the new products mentioned a few posts above, and wrote this up.

RBT COMPATIBILITY of BASKET SCREENS:

TOP PHOTO: Top edges of frosted glass lined up.
BOTTOM PHOTO: Bottom edges of glass lined up.

4-2020: Measurements using my “SPLINTERZ US CUSTOM”:

INNER glass bowl height measurement from heater mesh: (25mm from inside bottom outer mesh screen edge TO bowls top glass edge).

COMPATIBILITY of BASKET SCREENS, (rimmed & non rimmed).

Larmart Nub: With RIMMED baskets fit in bowl. (3 of 6 RBT brand did not fit tight in glass end joint).

RBT XL8R: RBT brand RIMMED baskets fit ALL 19mm RBT mouthpieces, and all 19mm glass joints fit depth wise on my SplinterZ model mentioned above.

VGoodiez 19-19mm/14-19mm Adapters:
AND ....
Larmart Bendy Mouthpiece:
*BOTH of these are just a bit too long for the RIMMED baskets, glass does not grab in the SplinterZ glass cup, will spin, and can fall out!
NOTE: Using “NON-Rimmed” screens work fine, since they don’t add any length to bottom of glass joint, and grab the SplinterZ glass cup fine.

PLEASE NOTE: These are my findings, with my device and glass pieces I bought. Seems only a 1-2mm difference in length can make the glass fit perfectly, or loose and MP can spin, or fall out. “Standards”, seem to vary, product to product as well as vendor o vendor. Something to be wary of when shopping.

Great post @RustyOldNail (name of a bar in my home town)

Yeh as you can see in your picture the far left is a 19/26 - "19" being the diameter and 26 mm being the length. This is the most common 19 or 18 mm (18.8 actual measurement at top of taper) The other three are 19/22 which is what the Mi1 and M2 was made to use. Problems with the screen not being secure as well as manufacturing variations in the length of grind caused RBT to push the screen up tight against the inner lip for added security (some early units had heater screens come loose) as well s shorten the length to 19 mm... thereby creating the RBT standard of 19/19. With 19/19 being shorter they are backwards compatable so they fit all RBT products. All current and future glass ware used with RBT should be RBT glassware to prevent the glass from contacting the heater screen and holding the glass up so that the glass to glass seal is not made and therefore the glass will feel loose in the unit and could fall out easier... not that the 19/19 cant. I always roll with one finger on the lip of the glass to prevent it from falling out. No loose glass in future designs :)

Hello all!

I hope everybody here is healthy and doing well.

I figured I should do a little write up here as part of my exit from RBT. My work with Ryan all started when we met via instagram and offered to give some tips for social media/marketing and then after some talking with Ryan my role grew to the point where Ryan trusted me enough to send his inventory to me and allowed me to take control of the front end of the business. Unfortunately for me this all happened at the busiest time of my life, I tried my best but at the end of the day between my senior year of college, internships, and RBT I was unable to give RBT the time it needs/deserves. Now as I finish my degree and have a job offer lined up I was forced to make the decision that Ryan has already discussed on here. I am super thankful for the amazing opportunities that Ryan gave me and working with him over the past 7 months has been so fun and rewarding that it makes it really hard to leave... but I know that Ryan will continue to rock the industry and make the best products on the market moving into the future. I hope that everyone is patient and understanding while we make this transition.

Stay safe out there!

Cole.
