Dear community,
I'm a long time reader of FC and this is my first post.
My new chamber parts arrived yesterday. The black ring has an integrated screen.
In order to install it, you pull off the original screen and then press the new ring into the top.
It clicks into place and won't fall off.

Looks nice! And it is like I thought weeks ago, the old ring will be removed. Happy to see that! I am still waiting here in Germany where this machine is made...Dear community,

The most important thing is that it works! 1 Week or less... Finally we will get it!

Actually, the old ring is not really just a ring, but the visible part of the heating element, which is not removable. The black ring acts as a protective cover and can be easily replaced if it ever gets damaged.
I didn't notice any decrease in performance, it works really great!

It can be removed with tweezers (or similar) by pulling it out. Doesn't matter if the old screen gets damaged, you can discard it anyway.

Then I was wrong. But if doesn’t move and works like before everything is perfect. Can you notice any scratches or something on the new one after screwing it on and off? I am so curious sorry!

I took the picture after using it first, so no scratches i think. I tried rotating the black ring, but it seems to stay put.Then I was wrong. I will use a finer mesh ss screen to keep the heating element clean since the old one pops out. https://www.storz-bickel.com/en-us/parts-accessories/for-volcano/fine-screen-set. I'm using the same valve after another 2 weeks of extended use and the valve is in new condition.
I even used the whip and left the valve on longer than usual. 5 minutes to be exact. Now I will try my Gorilla Glue strain out for some more extended use with the Hybrid and my Obsidian.https://www.magma-industries.com/store#!/Obsidian/p/91356278/category=0

Yea I was actually. I sent them an email over a month ago and never heard a reply back or anything. Then when they started to post about the insert on facebook I called them out about the housing units and posted my pictures. Their facebook rep contacted me almost immediately. But once again they have went dark with me and are pretty much ignoring my email at this point.

Just got an e-mail, the web app works with the Hybrid now, and my part shipped.
Got an email 1 hour ago about a shipment sent from Storz & Bickel, no details on content. I registered on the 12th of Jan for the replacement chamber and insert and am in Canada. I assume these are being sent out in order of registration and depending on continent from the EU or the US (so US took a few extra days to get these). I am also (I hope) on the list for a replacement capsule adapter, I've sent a few emails, but I think the way it works is you don't get confirmation if you supplied all the data they need.
Looks even better than the original in those pictures.
For me on my Windows 10 PC with an ASUS BT400 USB adapter for the Bluetooth 4.0, it's a bit flaky to connect (more so than with the Crafty) and the feature support is still a bit limited (only one 'baked' workflow is available). For the Crafty when the connection fails I always get a BT failure dialog, but for the Hybrid it pairs and I see the Bluetooth indicator on the Hybrid is flashing, and then the web app just stops the loading animation and gives up. Sometimes it just takes a long time while the loading animation continues (8-10 seconds). I never got a BT failure dialog for the Hybrid though. Nice thought for a first version.

If you have the app installed for offline use (if you did chrome menu "install app..."), then you need to uninstall it first (using the link that was created when you installed it) or you will be using the cached version. If you force a clean reload it will work, but it will use the installed version next time you do a normal reload. In chrome Ctrl-F5 forces a clean reload from web site. The new version has a V2.0.0 in the upper right corner of the web page (if there is nothing in the upper right corner, then you are on the old version).

hahaha....just having a bit of fun with some folks on this subject.
I received my email notification of shipping today so expect to have the parts in 4-5 days as they are shipping from CA to MD.
