This doesn’t make sense. I can’t imagine @RBTcole or Ryan intended for this. Go ahead, take advantage, but it’s just that....taking advantage.

I was in total agreement that using the code for the Milaana 3 was taking advantage.

At this point, while I sympathize with the early adopters I have to say that it is poor business on behalf of RBT, et al. but if someone wants an unregulated vape this seems like a good opportunity.

This was mentioned 48 hours ago on a thread that someone from RBT should be monitoring. I no longer feel that buying now is "taking advantage".

So I finally received an email from @RBTcole , who completely ignored my request for a refund but he did state the following regarding the removal of the Mi3 from the RBT website

"
Removing it from the site was due to us hitting our order limit.

Cole"

What do you think??

It sounds odd to me

I’m kind of with you. (30/70) May your moral compass guide you.

I own my own business and if I didn’t continually monitor ALL aspects of my business I would constantly be taken advantage of and would quickly loose ground to progress made and more than likely ultimately could put me out of business. I feel for RBT in away, their situation is one of my worst nightmares.

I too have considered throwing down on another Milaana 3 for around $125 but I’m worried that a purchase now will just mean a long wait for a refund.

glad I got in before pre order limit hit. these type of delays happen a lot in the vaping world, its kind of expected at this point. hopefully the wait will be worth it in the end, time will tell.

Well I did not get a refund, I paid $150.00 for the pre-order Milaana 3. Have read some posts saying they will begin shipping by March, though neither Ryan nor Cole have made that announcement here. What do you think the odds are they will ship the Milaana 3 in March or actually come here and try to make some kind of amends for totally screwing the pooch in the handling of this pre-order.

I think they may well ship in March but regarding posting on here, based on recent experience, I’d say the chances are almost zero (unfortunately) :2c:

They were supposed to get the Mi3 yesterday so we wait for some news....In fact we never saw the production units, Ryan said they're bomb compare to the beta ones... So please @RBTcole think about us

One week ago on instagram, rastabuddhata said, "Shipping issues have been resolved. Estimated delivery to RBT 2/20. Orders made in 2019 should be sent by 3/1. Remaining orders by 3/21."
Sounds imminent to me!

I know it sucks that rbt might not give you a refund I don't know about how they handle that stuff. but I think we are so close to delivery if you don't get a refund you could probably sell it very quickly in the classifieds to someone who missed the pre order.

according to ryan on his last IG live, the first wave of Milaana 3’s have arrived at RBT (RBTCole’s house) and one is to be tested to be sure all is well and then they will be boxed up and shipments going out to the first wave of preorder customers.

Only checking 1 unit is a total QC fail........minimum check should be on 10% of units.

I do not want to denigrate Ryan or the vaporizers he has designed and delivered since they have been as advertised, and perform great. The design and operation of the Milaana 3 will probably be what we all hope and expect from a RBT vaporizer. RBT products are not the issue, RBT business practices or lack thereof, is the problem. The only concern about the build is how much interest and attention has Ryan really given the Milaana 3. Hard to imagine his R&D for the original Zion or Milaana were as haphazard. The announcement for the original delivery delay for the Milaana 3, the one about the screw, caused me major concern. How did he go into production with a heater so obviously flawed? How could he get a commitment from a screw manufacturing company to custom make a screw in such a small limited quantity? Ryan is a capable designer and builder, my concern is how focused is he on the Milaana 3, and is he still trying to make RBT a successful enterprise, or just trying to get the last bit of revenue out of the business before burning it down? I guess we will all know the answers in the next 2-3 weeks.

Dude this is a vaping forum where do it yourself crafters do some peddling. You see it you want it you ante up your money and hope for the best. If you want legal agreements and disclaimers and lawyers and whatever else buy an apple product. And have fun with that. Or make your own vape. Too easy to hate!

It really is a shame this thread has taken such a negative turn. Ill admit for a moment I felt like I was reaching for a pitchfork. Ultimately, I feel the same, take it for what it is. I’d like to hope most of this is love/hate but lately it just has the smell of beef. I hope some positive reviews are on the horizon.

Never any hate, waste of energy. Some have legitimate complaints, not in anger, simply voicing their concerns. As consumers we invested in the Milaana 3 in August based on the information provided by the seller. When the delivery was delayed any and all refunds should have been processed promptly and hassle-free. Or at least explain why a fundamental problem with the heater was discovered post-production? You do not need to be Apple to honor a refund request. Pre-order sales should be initiated after all the R&D is completed and production is going to begin. After all, we are buying a product and not in the anticipated making of one. Marijuana Industry consumers need to become more pro-active in seeking to have a higher standard for the way businesses operate. Whether a one-man show or a corporate one. Not hating, not even passive-aggressively. Chucking deuces brothers and sisters.
