There's been some posts here about the Grav stems, so I purchased three different Grav stems with a 20% coupon I had. The GRAV® Glass Blunt w/ Silicone Grommet, the GRAV® Upline® Taster and the 16mm GRAV® Octotaster. The Upline Taster and 16mm Octotaster are both just slightly to big to fit, perhaps if I removed the red o-ring, but for me it's not worth mucking with. The Glass Blunt definitely has a much smaller OD and is just not a fit. This was my attempt however feeble to replace the stock stem and cooling unit. The only issue this 'fan boy' has with the TM is the delicate o-rings around the cooling unit (CU) and not having a spare screen for the CU. I do have spare o-rings and have used two as I stretched the original two out of shape siding the CU out of the stem without using my breath to first fog the inside of the stem.

Sorry to hear this. I have some of these and they fit just fine.... variance I suppose...

Here is one more place you can get the Tinymight in France. Although it is also a pre-order.

From a recent communication with the maker i know that things got delayed a bit,due to problem with sourcing parts comming from China, which struggles with the Corona virus and production is delayed on a worldwide scale. He managed to re-organize things and source all the parts from inside Europe, but it was quite the challenge. He also managed to secure extra funding for his project and will be able to assemble a 1000 units with all EU compontents. He tested the new revision and said it is working even better.
First 30 units are going out this weekend then 60 more in the next week, then after a couple of weeks ,a large shipment of parts arrive and he will be pushing hunderts.
Manufacturing has been reorganized for a larger scale and there is a team and also an automated production line that will be able to do 1000 a month ! He mentioned that is swamped with e-mail communication, interest is unsually high and also demand. It takes about 1/3 of his day to respond to e-mails and he is pretty stressed cause all those delays are making people edgy, which he finds totally understandable. He feels bad to not being able to keep up with his and others expectations, but he assures that is working as much as humanly possible to get ontop of this.
For me it seems that he is doing things at his best with the situation and i wish him good luck ! It seems that he would get ontop of the demand in beggining of april so there might be a lot of happy users around 4/20 :))!
Another thing we discussed is how the temperature is measured. Work is done by a custom firmaware that measures shift in resistance. It sounds like the TUBO although not modbased, but with a custom board . Heater is about 2 grams and measuring the resistance provides greater accuracy than any sensor can do,he has confirmed it trough experiment.
I just wanna add that communication with him has been pleasant and he also takes time to do a little of chit-chat /side-talk about life and stuff ,seems like a really cool dude, hopefully he will have time to join on-board once things get flowing :) !

I confirm. he is the only one of all manufacturers who can answer in large expanded text, without forgetting about humor, telling in detail about all the nuances. I'm impressed . I hope his positive attitude and such a business relationship will last for many years. and only a worthy team of professionals will surround him. No wonder we are waiting for this miracle device.

Like most people , I don't usually like to be the first to buy a new product. The exceptions have been my two Ti Grasshoppers which I ordered from their kickstarter campaign and the TM. I'm fortunate that my GHs' are original and still working properly but that might be luck... As for the TM, I can now say that I'm past the Honeymoon period and like it more with every use. In some ways I like it because it reminds me of the GH albeit not as stealth. It's a fast portable on demand vape. But it's so much more. It's more powerful, tastes better, has session mode, uses batteries that are not proprietary , and the vapor is much cooler. I do however have one concern which is the glass. I'm not overly concerned about the glass stems but rather the glass liner underneath the metal sleeve. I worry that using the TM outside on very cold days could result broken glass. Personally, I take my vapes with me on long hikes and the possibility of rapidly heating cold glass might cause it to crack. I beleive this is what happened to my Splinter last fall when I was using it while sitting around a firepit at night. The air was getting cold, I reloaded and most likely this accidentally caused its demise. I don't know it this concern is warranted but some caution might be justified. Not a big deal for me since I have other vapes that work great in winter conditions. Otherwise, I'm a truly happy owner. I don't mind being another cheerleader saying " just order one" but with a caveat. I like to investigate most new vapes out of curiosity but rarely do I continue to follow them if I don't think that they are right for me. I you have had any genuine interest in the TM than you're probably thinking that this could satisfy your vaping needs. I would be surprise if that person was not happy after spending some time with this vape.

Just order one ...

The specs say it's quartz glass (and I suppose it refers to the liner you mention too) which is known for its thermal endurance and its low expansion coefficient – I'm not a glass expert at all, but I think it's a bit more resistant against temp changes than even borosilicate (also it's sitting behind an aluminum sleeve, which has some insulating qualities too).

But I understand your concern, glass can break, period.

Ok i got my TM today. It hits VERY hard, actually i find it quite hard to microdose with this because of that.

But i have couple of questions.
1) Hod can you adjust the "chamber" size with the short glass tube. It's easy to make it SMALLER, but how do I make it bigger? The screen probably gets damaged if i try to push it.
2) The long glass tube only has the screen? Should i use that thing (cooling unit?) from the smaller tube also with the long one?

Congratulations on recieving it, glad you enjoy it...

1) to avoid damaging the screen as you say; I push it all the way down (and out of the bottom of the tube, then re insert at the top,and push down until it's where I want (I have settled on 10mm deep bowl)

2)only one cooling unit is supplied, so if you want to use the cooling unit, in conjunction with long stem, just take the cu out of short stem, and insert in long stem.

Thank you! I tried that #1 but it was not easy to remove the CU that way so I thought it was not supposed to come out from the tube but that totally makes sense.

#2 makes also sense. Thanks!

on more questions about the temperatures:
Is there somewhere a chart where i can see which number means which temperature?

It's not easy to move, but if you breath through the tube, condensation will form on the inside, making it easier to slide in or out.

There was a post on here (you'd have to scroll and find it) but!!..

With convection vapes; the temperature (at the herb) is governed by the speed of your draw...
The coil could be at X temperature, a slow draw, will allow more time in contact between the heater and air, leading to higher temp air... Conversely a fast draw, limits time in contact, and will also cool the coil, giving a lower temp...

My advice is; dial it in to your draw speed, and be done with it.

Hey Lauantaimakkara!

Quick question, as I'm from Finland as well:
- When was your order marked as "shipped"?

Asking because I got an email on tuesday morning at 06:30 about mine being shipped, but I have not heard a peep from DHL so far and the waiting is KILLING ME!

Another user posted this, I hope it helps:

the TM website lists the temp range from 250-460f. If 1 is 250f and there are 9 more levels than each would equal approx 23 degrees higher. an assumption that it's linear , but... that would let you guess each numbers approx temp. I've been staying between 6-7 and I usually set my digital vapes 365-390 so this seem about right to me.

1. 25o
2. 273
3. 296
4. 319
5. 343
6. 366
7. 390
8. 413
9. 436
10. 460

My order was shipped on tuesday also. Yesterday I got a SMS from Matkahuolto that I can collect my packet from Posti (Matkahuollon automaatista).

I understand the struggle

stem from TM, what is the diameter? I know that they are not the original wpa yet. can it fit on the 14mm bubbler input?

Not in my experience... The outer diameter (of the stock stem) is 16mm
If the outer diameter is 16mm than the WPAs from the Sticky brick Flip will fit.
I just measured it at exactly 16mm, but i dont have my TM yet so I will confirm this info once i receive it!
There are 14mm and 18mm versions of it and you get these everywhere.

@lauantaimakkara Could i ask when you ordered, so i know what to expect?
Enjoy your new vape dude ;)

The 14mm works, the 18mm won't, as the length is to short, so the ground glass joint hits the retaining ring...

Also; the WPA from the flip brick is thicker glass, so the inside diameter is less (I find the bowl shouldn't be any deeper, then it is wide.) So I set a slightly shallower bowl

I guess mine was a tad slower then, as I got a message today at around 13:00 that I can pick up "a package" from one of the postal vending machines. There were actually two options on what it might have been, but was really hoping it's the TM. AND IT WAS!!

Boy, oh boy. I'm thoroughly impressed by the device.

And btw, @DonMarteng, I ordered mine on 06.01. Took almost 6 and a half weeks for mine, but I knew what I was getting in to when I placed the order, so no worries there from my side.

Sometimes the o rings are a bit stubborn at first (when new, after cleaning). Pushing *too* hard will at some point damage the screen, but it is fairly sturdy – after some usage the cu will slide quite softly due to residue lowering the friction, so pushing from both sides will be easier.

You can also try swapping the o rings, sometimes that makes them behave more cooperative for me – be careful when removing them: create a small loop by pinching them, then grab the loop and pull (edit: and keep an eye on them, they are small). Don't use fingernails or the like. As @Sensory Leaf mentioned, breathing into the stem to create some condensation can be helpful too.

Thanks. I was thinking, maybe freezing the CU+glass would also help? I might try it atleast.
