I found 10 only hours before the site went live. Few were heeded. Oh well. I bought a PFE for my own troubles

In all fairness and transparency, HL did implement more of my editorial suggestions after the initial site launch and publishing. They PM’d me to this effect after the site launch. Make sure you refresh your browser session to see the latest updates!
I realize the race to market to go live (I’ve been in IT for 30+ years and know this well) and HL’s need for cash infusion after the November fire setback however there’s something to be said for striving for perfection before customers (and prospects) find issues with the site - and same can be said for the product (of course). Lessons, lessons, lessons - we all need to learn. I wish HL success and hope the io launch goes well! TGIF to all.

Quite possibly. I haven’t been able to re-review my list and what they changed (or not) based on that. PM them if you wish.
Regarding the io, it sounds like my current Ti on steroids. It’ll be interesting to see how the launch goes. I use my Hopper daily it’s that good, easy and effective & I’m happy to have it back after its RMA. Not sure I need another but perhaps WANT an io. We’ll see...
EDIT: my editorial tenacity was backed by a (English) language usage reference I still have from college (many years ago). Regarding hyphenated usage, there are four categories which they are acceptable. Many of my suggestions involved them: compound adjectives and numbers are two. I haven’t re-checked anything yet, busy weekend.

I'm glad I found this thread! I went to the old GHV site to check on my battery order from months ago and there is absolutely nothing on there about a new vape, or the new GHB3 battery! I can see why they would want a fresh start after all the teething issues but I hope they can at least transfer my battery order to the new site, and I'm surprised they haven't emailed GHV owners about this.
A few concerns:
- Same proprietary battery, really guys? Has no one at GHV heard of the AW IMR 14500??
- Gold and brass are soft metals. How many years can they survive constant changing of batteries?
- The white LED's look way too bright
All that said, I just bought a blue io and 2 more batteries

For anyone who hasn't tried it, I highly recommend a dry cooling solution, the flavor of the GHV is fantastic and bongs/bubblers really take a lot out of it.
This coil from the Plenty vape is what got me using the GHV again, and ultimately ended up replacing my Cloud EVO! It's cheap too, just look for "Plenty Wear & Tear Set", this is an ideal companion to the GHV, and Jyarz fit right inside! GHV should really look into selling something like this:

Oh weird, I thought the coil was the best part of the Plenty vape! I ended up selling mine.That Plenty whip is a prick of a vapor/resin and eventually flavor stealing germ factory, the first thing I replaced on my Plenty for a glass J-hook when I got it.
Just toss it in a Ziploc with salt and iso alcohol, cleans up so easy, I really only do it a couple of times a month.
Mine would clog solid by then, the Plenty is a desktop and I used it as such, 4 to 6 grams a day (4 to 6 bowls) through it when I first gave up smoking.
I have a 2ltr ultrasonic cleaner that I would use with iso in a large beaker that would not even get it completely clean just too many nooks and crannies to get to.
It might be alright for light use with a GH but so does using a GH native.

The new io site has only been up for a couple of days and we here were given the address just a little ahead of a general announcement. I believe the site will run parallel for some transition period. Grasshopper is to be discontinued.
Did you happen to see the announcement (on the original site) about the fire last fall? The last batch of ghb2's was totally scuttled and the ghb3 is emerging in the wake of that disaster. We do hope to see those by April, we really do.

Nice thing about a nice glass "J"hook is just a 2 minute rinse in iso & it's new again.
Really appreciate all the transparency on what's happening with the new IO. One thing I might recommend is losing the photo on the new website of the woman in shorts. Let your device sell itself. Just my 2¢.
In regard to what I quoted above, we are approaching a month since that message was posted. Can we get an update on the progress?
One thing I'm concerned about is "Battery" which I don't see on the list. Are these done and on hand? My worry is the coronavirus effecting manufacturing in China delaying progress on the IO. Such a terrible tragedy for everyone affected.

Daily and then some. Just keep the temp down - for me it’s the upper 2s and occasional low 3 to finish - and it works just fine. Before my RMA I was running it a full temp increment higher with marginal results. And I only own the native frontend too until purchasing a PFE on the new site (a questionable donation if you ask me but I wanted to help proof the site and throw them a little business along the way too).
Yeah, when I first saw that I it was questionable and unnecessary. I however stuck to editorial content and suggested a design change to “io” in the copy (text) to make it stand out. I’m not a UX person or artistic and some, not all, of the copy seemed it needed a bit of color or an image (or both).
Funny, I received my order confirmation for the Ti PFE on the new site but I don’t think it’s shipped yet - and I didn’t notice any backlog noticed when I ordered it, which is one of the reasons I ordered it. I’ll need to follow up...

HL did implement most of my editorial suggestions, FYI. Hyphenation has traditional (see my categories above) and more modern variants particularly with abbreviations. I'll stick with traditional compound adjectives, thank you, which were a majority of my hyphenation suggestions (there were a couple of others as well as a few other diction suggestions). I don't work for or with HL and just helped them out albeit at the last minute, apparently. I had no prior knowledge of when the site would launch and it was launched the day after I provided my commentary. All good - and so is my 'legacy Hopper' as I recall reading that somewhere recently

She's there 3x and while I do find it to be a sexy shot, I agree with the comments thus far that she's waaay off-topic.
On the site, go to Vaporizers and under each one you can "learn more" where she is there apparently as an educational assistant (didn't want to say 'tool').
I think that this page is a mess of confusing information, pleasantly presented.

Thanks guys, and no...clearly I wasn't looking at the details under each category of vape...just the main pages.
Frankly, while I agree that this one picture is really not appropriate, I also don't see the need for the rest of the "life style of the young, beautiful, and high" pics in a section where I'm looking for more info (as in "Learn More") and not more life style marketing.

Indeed. They have additional pics in black & white (one with a woman too) below the main info and then some accessory suggestion pics below those. Of course the Hopper appeals to both sexes, as it should, and it could be done better. That’s the last I’ll say about it. Back to (legacy) Hoppering before lighting the grill
