My first impression of this vape summed up into one word.... Junk.

overpriced junk

It might be overpriced in your opinion, and it might not be for either of you, and it might even be junk, but calling it junk without owning or trying it strikes me as a bit overboard.

Eh, the videos made it seem pretty interesting, but the fact that it's not even that portable kind of ruins it for me. If I'm going to drop $250 on a vape, I want it to be the best one I can get for my money, and I just feel like that's not what this product is.

The Inhalater is 5.75 inches long and 1.25 at it's largest. The boxset includes the small Bic lighter.

In effect the heating principle is a combination of conduction and radiation. The top part of the substrate does not touch the chamber wall but is heated as uniformly as the bottom part. This is done by heat waves coming from the heated walls.

Yes you can keap the heat on and inhale as you go. This really gives the taste of what's vaporizing.

Thank you for hanging in there with us and our skepticism (and some who don't even explain what they dislike).

I hope my feedback was taken as constructive criticism (especially in regards to the wording of things written on your site).

If you feel discouraged ever (about the skeptics on this site) search for the Magic Flight Launch TUBE thread in ABV, and see all of the harassment they had to go through (to the point of a design change to the unit) and how successful they have become (a great deal do to their perserverence and responsiveness to feedback).

Best wishes, and (again) I think the Inhalator is a nice, innovative evolution in the flame-powered vape market.

Yes, you are! I come from the future and I can tell you that you will, in time, come to admire the inhalator to the point where you will purchase it and then review it here for me! Also, dont leave your house on may 18th 2015! In time it will make sense!

nah, sorry for the confusion. vaporninja = "hempy" in IRC usually.

steiner666,
Yeah thanks for showing up on the Forum, Inhalator.

Do you have some youtubes of this thing in action? That'd solve alot of the skepticism we seem to be suffering from right away.

A drawing showing how convection is accomplished might tame down my insatiable curiosity - somewhat...

Well apparently, the patent drawings are very stylized. However all the parts and functions are shared between the drawing and the Inhalater.

The light sequence is as follow. Blue flashes propotionately to temperature up to 195 Celsius, then turn into a solid blue. At 202.5 Celsius the light turns green and at 210 the light turns red.

I still don't understand how the air path is laid out but you showed me something which pleads in its favour: instant gratification. Simply put, the user doesn't need to wait for his vaporizer to heat up. I think that's a significant feature of the Inhalater. There's some mockery about its heat source but that lamp could happen to have a "ritual" side to it which might come to be apreciated after a while, even by myself. Well, personally i'm not a fan of fire and that goes as far as seeking unexpected alternatives like induction heating - probably the safest heat source among all. Honestly, in my mind a similar product will have an edge the day it's designed to exploit the inherent temperature-regulation properties of a suitable nickel alloy submitted to a varying magnetic field, with just the right Curie point to garantee no combustion can ever occur.

In the meantime...

My opinion, if you intend to write a review, is that it would probably help to value the Inhalater's instant gratification feature i mentioned previously while also showing us in doing so that the LEDs provide sufficient assistance to avoid combustion.

So I want to know a few things about this from the man himself.

First off what makes this unit better than any other protable? How can you justify the price?
Does it smell? If so how much, and why would it make a good portable then?
How much does it use? Can you do small and big bowls?
Why do you start at such a high temp? 195 is high for most vape users.
What does the unit taste like with this air path? How would this compare to an all glass piece like the GVG?
Why would you call it "Radiation vaporization?" That sounds a little scary to me.
How efficient is it? How would it compare to the SV and the HA?

I also just checked out the video didn't understand any of it, and didn't see much vapor, I wonder how well it produces it.

You mean the manufacturer? What about customer reviews? Personnally i'm more curious to read from the later.

Relatively to radiation, the question i'd like to be asked is this: is there any space between the radiator and the biomass to prevent conventional conduction from direct contact? That's one reason why i want to know more about the air path.

I saw the video and I think I understood all of it. If you can be more specific maybe we can help you out. ;)

As I understand it, these people aren't stoners, they're a medical research company producing a device that they think AIDS patients might need. They wouldn't anticipate that anyone would want to exhale all the vapour immediately into a light to show off the cloud. Perhaps when VaporNinja posts the promised video review, you'll see that.

You understand it, but the 100000 other members don't, it should be in English for all of us.

So what are they making for these "Aids patients" That's different then any other vaporizer, what are they going to vape out of it?

The FAQ says this : What type of substrate can be used my Inhalater?
Only use your Inhalater with medicinal phytosubstrate. Resins, tobaccos or other substances are not recommended.

Why is this said yet people are using it with cannabis?

They wouldn't anticipate it? Why did they exhale right away then? lmfao.

I'm waiting for these videos.

Ia! Ia! Vapor Fthagn!
i am pretty sure that "medicinal phytosubstrate" is their term for cannabis. Medical MJ.
