In addition to @macbill's response to @voyciz here on disabling the auto-shutoff timer, http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/vapexhale-cloud-evo.11357/page-782#post-1444227, let me add that the VapeXhale EVO warranty specifically mentions that this action will void the warranty. Just an FYI.

@grogazola, the EVO is a great end game vape worth considering. For cleaning @VegNVape gives good feedback. Make sure any cleaning on the EVO is done once the unit is cold-cold. As some know, when hot it's no bueno. I myself in over a year of EVO ownership have simply ISO swabbed out the upper bamboo to clean my EVO and that's all it's needed. And I'm a clean fan ;), I clean my ELBs and glass weekly and perfectly (PBW, ultrasonic cleaners, etc). Clean vapor is awesome.

Those interested in a more thorough cleaning can use the search function in this thread. I know one of the preferred methods is to keep and use the red oem bamboo plugs, and use them to fill and soak the bamboo with hot iso/PBW (as mentioned by @terry420); that method is popular and proven effective for deep bamboo cleaning. This will not void your warranty. Disassembly of the EVO will void the warranty.

@terry420, I suspected you just needed to dial in the your settings for the EVO. Great to hear . There's a lot of settings talk here and that's great to compare and discuss, but one should always find their own preferred settings first on the EVO... and then play from there.

You sound like a strong extractor fan... and the EVO can totally deliver that, there are a number of suggested one-hitter full extraction settings earlier in this thread and worth a search.

That's a great backstory on your EVO history, thumbs up :).

I too love the EVO for concentrates . I've dialed in a very nice EVO concentrates method and experience, it's a little different from yours but we're probably in the same range for vapor quality. I do 12:30 on the dial (a little hotter) but I do a larger rice grain size... or even a bit more. It shows how flexible the EVO is and that one can really dial in their own optimal experience. Definitely share the success stories. The low dose feedback is ... the EVO is an excellent consistent powerful extraction machine.

It's great to hear from the longer term EVO owners @audiodelic, @VegNVape, @ataxian, @macbill, @Baron23, @His_Highness, and more that I've missed. I find this thread is a great mix of new-to-old EVO users, excellent stuff . It's great to hear more EVO owner feedback and this thread busy. Excellent stuff again.

I'm back on the EVO and loaded today here, haha :freak:. Earlier I ground up some fresh quality Golden Goat for the EVO and then realized I had some leftover herb from last night in the grinder too :haw: . I finished that combo grind after two small ELBs this Sunday afternoon :luv:; it was excellent. And my EVO routine feels like the most ol' comfy shirt :). Quality vaping .

Thank you for all the feedback! How fragile is the Cloud Evo?

Heard the Cloud Evo is not for people with lower tolerances - instantly thought, “how much again for a Cloud Evo?”

I've made all-comers hail the EVO's power, it's a cough generating machine for everyone I've let sample who wants to push it , even in low temp extraction :leaf:. The EVO is generally not that fragile but it won't do well with big abuse. Just treat the EVO like a glass bong and you're golden ; it's probably 2X stronger or more too. Look at the design and understand it. Then compare it to your own history and style of use. The odd person breaks the EVO, most don't. Where do you sit?

I'm just doing a Sunday night indulgence of some Nuken shatter in the VapeXhale . Awesome :luv:; highly recommended. I love the flavors I get off of clean glass with fresh flower and good concentrates in the EVO; top notch connoisseur stuff.

Enjoy ur Sunday eve :peace: :leaf:.

I'm very very very happy you said this. I have a lot of my bases covered vaporizer wise, a nice desktop (volcano classic), a portable (mighty), and a microdoser (dynavap + induction heater).

What I am missing craving needing is a cloud maker that just makes me feel silly and tingly...Nuken is a nice cozy strain! I think I'll bust out some Pine Tar Kush and enjoy the Sunday night vibes...

This is a little embarrassing, but I'm unable to completely clean a borosilicate nail. Last week I used a small amount of wax at the 1:00 setting per Sabo's video. I've soaked it for multiple days in PBW, and then again with ISO. Scrubbed it with a pipe cleaner also, but their is still a stain. I like to keep my equipment really clean, anything I'm missing?

Try some fresh hot water with PBW and more soaking and brush cleaning. The hands-off method includes hot water with PBW and an ultrasonic cleaner, then just press a few buttons. Good luck, it should work with another soaking.

I don’t get or understand very well?

why do you clean them like a dinner plate?

I don’t clean them?
I do clean my wine glass though!

EVO if flavor is important?
Medicated level is subject to the quality of one’s CANNABIS!

If it didn't burn off in the EVO set to high, use a torch to torch it clean (burn it off).

Borosilicate starts losing structural integrity above 525 degrees, which is why I've been trying to clean them like a dinner plate

I ran into the same problem so switched so I could torch them.

What I found to work best was 99% Iso or the highest you can find. Let it soak, then pick at the spots with a skewer or something and repeat. You can warm the Iso also, the tube in a baggy of Iso inside a hot bowl of water, it does help some, but I found with 99% it wasn't worth the extra work.

While I was able to get some wonderful sessions with trates in my Evo, I found it to be too much work and relegated it to flower only. If you're looking for a desktop that can do both, much less at the same time, check out the Ditanium. Stacked hits can be pretty overpowering if you're not paying attention!

But the Evo is better with flower.

@VegNVape was kind enough to reach out to me and let me know that this community is still active. I just wanted to drop in and say hello and thank you for all the support over the years. Running a company has been a crazy ride, to see this industry go from the basement to mainstream has been a trip. I just wanted to thank you all for supporting this company and allowing me to feed my family by doing something we love. Thanks again everyone, EVOs will be back in stock soon!

Seeing your posts here , the nostalgia it brings back is priceless.

Hope you can give us some sort of update on any new dry herb vaporizer models or updates to the VXC your company is working on.

Were you able to clean your quartz nails @Relaxed? I've only ever had and used the ultrasonic cleaner so I don't know how much that helps (other than my cleaning routine always gets things perfectly clean).

Thx Seibo @stonemonkey55 for dropping in again . I've been an EVO owner for ~ one year now and have been raving overall and discussing it in detail :luv:. Do you have any new-glass-coming feedback from VapeXhale? People have been wanting new US glass for the EVO here lately and discussing it, me included (older styles, different percs, larger options, etc.). I snoozed on a few no-longer-stocked older style and earlier-offered hydratubes (plus bases, which were available even before that) in my first year of ownership now, and missed out :\. It would be awesome if VapeXhale posted a bit of talk/info here from time to time again too. And here's a quick question for you if you don't mind... do you personally fill your hydratubes with water below/to the perc (percolater), or go above it :sherlock:?

Happy EVO Friday . I'm back on the EVO after my weekly break. I did four draws, 10 seconds long, at 320 F, heatsoaked, and dry with the Helio mouthpiece of a small ~1/5 ELB of a combination of Viper and Sour Tangie (both recent quality batches)... and it's been excellent. I love the super clean flavors of using clean fresh glass... and the experience has been three hrs so far :science:. (I'm currently heating the EVO to finish that ELB off wet at ~395 F with a Precision Honeycomb Hydratube). That's still my current fave wet hydratube; definitely recommended.

Time to share more good EVO-related info knowledge. I picked up a new digital scale to weigh light stuff reasonably accurately, down to 0.001 grams... and had to use it :brow:. Check out this reference, it's 0.050 grams of 62% boveda mason stored cannabis in the VapeXhale ELB.

It turns out I've previously been overestimating my cannabis intake in all my older posts on FC by 33-40% or so . In my case it seems I'm very sensitive to cannabis
alienabduct.gif
, low amounts are very potent :science: . Thinking about it, it also means I can reasonably estimate that I've previously posted a number of times about effectively vaping 0.001 grams of quality cannabis and a fresh cannabis batch (i.e. enjoyed the dose and effects).

The EVO is very efficient. I can very quickly vape this amount fresh and it gives clouds on exhale  (even at 320 F).

It's hard to try a bunch of different strains when I use so little, often grind too much and it lasts so long :freak:.

Enjoy your Friday :peace: :leaf:

Good EVO times here this Saturday night
thumbup2.gif
. Last night was great! Soooo good that I have to fix a basic error in that last post and say that I can effectively vape 0.01 grams of fresh flower in the EVO, not 0.001 grams lol . That would truly be impressive .

It's great to share some direct measurement info .

Today with the EVO, I first jumped on a small ELB of some more of my good batch of Ghost Train Haze flower. Here's a new better picture of it.

Click this link to see and better full size picture. click to zoom too. https://i.redd.it/56p8uyzu62d41.jpg.

A few hours later I did another small ELB (both were ~1/5 volume and measured in the ~0.032 grams or so range) of a quality batch of Blue Dream flower :luv:. I was purposely leaning into the indica more, but there's no doubt BD is sativa leaning ;). And a few hours later I leaned into an even smaller ELB of God Bud (indica leaning). I feel good man,.

The EVO is totally delivering in all these extractions... as well as temp stepping these sessions effectively (in combination with dry/wet mouthpieces as discussed earlier). The vapor is smooth, and definitely often ... the EVO is a powerful extractor... it's sneaky potent :freak:.

Enjoy the weekend.

:peace: :leaf:

One member told me I was too hard on my basket’s?

I am more careful these daze’s!

@macbill know’s basket’s really well!
Haha yes I advised you not to squeeze the ELBs to unload the abv as that was causing mine to split and rip as well. Just use a poker/tool to get it out or lightly flick the bottom of the ELB while holding it inverted. Hope this helps other members too!
